This Review is to Inform the General Public that Patrick Arko Took Advantage of an 83 Year Old man and sold me a Small Used riding mower that was in fact defective. Our agreement was to Change the Oil & Sharpen the Blade. He did Change the Oil but never sharpened the Blade because the Blade Nut was Rusted & Frozen to the Mower Spindle Assembly. Instead of Fixing it he Chose to Screw the Customer Instead. My Friend who was an automotive Mechanic for 30 years could not remove the blade to install a new one. Now I must find a vendor to fix a problem that should NOT Exist...I attempted to Contact Patrick Arko several Times but he would NOT Reply. Do not use this dishonest company! First, as stated by another reviewer, the woman that answers the phone (the owner's fiancé') is horribly rude, unprofessional, and unpleasant! She has NO business being in customer service and is the first contact to the company, giving a terrible impression! Then, they charge about double what other companies charge for pick-up and delivery. They also "complete" repairs without contacting the customer with the estimate or getting approval, they OVER charge for work...work that they did NOT do and had to be called out on, and the work that WAS done was terrible and had to be fixed by another company because they ruined the part. This place will not return defective equipment without a restocking fee. How can you restock defective equipment? Yes, I knew about the restocking fee when the equipment was purchased. The employee kept saying he'll replace the defective part which is good, but I just wanted to return it at that point. The defective part was a brand new Echo battery that was three years old! He replaced it with another old battery. Give me a break man!! I could have bought the same equipment at Home Depot and returned it with NO problem. This company is absolutely terrible!! Absolutely the worst customer service ever. The woman that answers the phones and runs the counter is extremely rude and aggressively ignorant to how to deal with customers. She told me and my wife ( on two separate occasions) that she won't give an estimate prior to engine repairs. I had to contact the owner in regards to that. They then changed the oil and spark plug, at a cost of $100 without being needed. They never got to the carburetor, which was the issue. When I said I wasn't happy with the extra work being done she hung up on me. Highly disappointed with a highly unprofessional company. read more
