Due to the age of the machine, 35 years, the replacement part is expensive. Jon showed me a used snowblower he had in his shop and offered for a really good price. Cleaned it up, rebuilt the carb, made it look like new. I stopped by and actually gave it a test run. It also starts on the first pull. He also let me know that since it's later in the season, he'll help out if anything goes wrong next season. As usual, Jon is responsive, mindful of your budget, and just one of the most friendly, chill, down-to-earth people I've ever met, let alone do business with. Thanks again, Jon! She has NO business being in customer service and is the first contact to the company, giving a terrible impression! Then, they charge about double what other companies charge for pick-up and delivery. They also "complete" repairs without contacting the customer with the estimate or getting approval, they OVER charge for work...work that they did NOT do and had to be called out on, and the work that WAS done was terrible and had to be fixed by another company because they ruined the part.
