Due to the age of the machine, 35 years, the replacement part is expensive. Jon showed me a used snowblower he had in his shop and offered for a really good price. Cleaned it up, rebuilt the carb, made it look like new. I stopped by and actually gave it a test run. It also starts on the first pull. He also let me know that since it's later in the season, he'll help out if anything goes wrong next season. As usual, Jon is responsive, mindful of your budget, and just one of the most friendly, chill, down-to-earth people I've ever met, let alone do business with. Thanks again, Jon! Was honest with his price, was able to fit me in immediately and repaired it quick. I also told him that I was heading out of town the week of the 10th and he made sure to repair it before the trip. A chain store was not able to fit me in until late Jan/early Feb but I was able to drop it off that day and finished within a week. Additionally, I asked about a shredder/vacuum/chopper that's been disassembled and if he could repair it. He said to take pics and bring those in before hauling it into the store.
