I have a complicated prescription since I had mono-vision lasik surgery 10 years ago and wanted progressive bifocals. The store was busy and only two ladies answering the phone and helping customers. I had to wait a little bit but picked out frames in the meantime. The customers were being helped in a timely manner. When they were ready for me the gal was very knowledgeable about the lenses I was going to get and knew I didn't have insurance. She was very patient answering my questions and extremely helpful. I was expecting to have a much harder time as I have in the past and she just blew me away with a nice experience ordering and then picking up my glasses. I will recommend going here to anyone.

The staff are great, but their lab may be the slowest and most unorganized in Arkansas…read more Absolutely use them for your optometrist visits, but take your prescription elsewhere unless you want to wait over two weeks for your glasses. Even if you do wait past the two weeks, the onus is on you to call and check on the status of your order. Miraculously, when you do call, your glasses will arrive the next day. I'm not sure if that's a coincidence, or if your call somehow motivates them to complete orders more quickly. This happened with both my glasses and sunglasses orders made over two weeks apart. At first I thought it was an anomaly, but it seems to be an issue with all lab orders. Again, the staff are great, but you can find inexpensive glasses elsewhere that won't take 2+ weeks for delivery.

Simmons eye care staff is amazing but their contract with the lab that actually makes the eye…read moreglasses is completely incompetent, not only did that send the frames from the store to the lab to make sure that received the correct glasses they still got it wrong, the excuses ranged from the glasses didn't pass inspection. Also after the order was sent in with the correct frames they kept trying to give me a totally different pair of frames and you could see by the order slip and the frames the numbers did not match. After being told a rush order is being placed on the order they still took their time completing the order. I do recommend Simmons eye care for your eye needs, but I do not recommend their eye glass services. Take your prescription somewhere else to avoid the headache and long wait,

My only offset was the welcome, or lack there of, from the receptionist. They had my old records and were able to compare them with my new records. (Isn't that fantastic???) Dr. Smith not only did a very extensive examination (I thought it was, because she did tests that I have never had before) but she explained everything to me. I wish I could remember everyone's name because from the time that I walked in the door, to the young lady who fitted me for new glasses, I was totally impressed. The new eyeglasses were very reasonably priced (I am used to spending a hefty amount of money on glasses) and she also helped me pick them out and I love them. I highly recommend anyone and EVERYONE to go to Dr. Smith and her staff!! If I could give higher than a 5, I would. Thank you Dr. Smith and your staff.
