My friends and I enjoy coming here for our monthly bowling as it is very close to where we live. We…read morenever have an issue with anyone at the front door or at the reception. The waiters and bartenders have always been very helpful and efficient. The bathrooms are also plentiful and the bowling alley is nicely set up. One thing I believe this facility could improve on is the addition of hand sanitizer stations, as I truly feel like it is almost a cesspool of germs, considering we share lanes with other groups, and the arcade is frequently by many of the guests. During our visits, we never notice any management interaction or presence throughout the bowling alley and I think that also would be a good idea for someone to routinely walk by to check on guest satisfaction. Also, the most recent times we have went, we also noticed that there are other lanes that are open yet far away from players that have already been set up. Each set of lanes is usually filled with us and another group of friends yet we see there are five lanes open to the left and a set of lanes open to the right. This makes it feel like we are kind of all mashed together for no reason. I think it would be better if different groups of people would be spread out throughout all of the lanes and not just grouped into the sets together. The doorman ensures that all guests that enter do not have any weapons on their person. The seriousness in that with today's pro weapon climate is very well appreciated. All of the bowling balls and lanes are an excellent condition and the computer screen is very easy to manipulate and set up. Thank you Lucky Strike for hosting us time and time again!

The food and drinks were very good, too. We had an unruly table next to us, that was quickly rectified and we got an arcade gaming card for the disruption. Thanks to the great staff and Dominique, the server.

This is the place to stumble into! Don't waste your time walking in front of everything looking in…read moreeach bar to see an empty row of barstools. This place is popping! Thursday night is Karaoke and the people in here can sing. You can tell this is a place the locals actually go to. I didn't try the food so I can't speak on that but the drinks were strong and the prices are good, you aren't going to be super overcharged like everywhere else. It's only a block off the beach as well! Tons of pool, video games, and two bars in two connected building. One side is a dance side the other side is a gaming fun side! The bar tenders were great and really took the time to make you feel welcomed! I will visit this place every time I come back to Miami!

We went to the bar to explain that the pool table was broken and they it was fine. When we closed out they charged us $20 for one game of pool. I have been to high-end clubs where it's less than that. This nasty bar charged us $20 to play one round of pool when the pool table next to us that unfortunately was occupied only paid equivalent of $3. That is robbery and discrimination & will not be coming back here ever again. I recommend staying away from this bar. Maybe it has to do with the fact that we were only gay people in there. Avoid it all costs, I love a loud bar scene, but I couldn't even hear my friend standing next to me. The energy was not good with the exception of the female Argentianian bartender who is quite kind, but whoever we closed out with was quite rude. 0 stars if I could. We want our money back.

I think how much you'll enjoy this depends on how crowded it is. My girlfriend and I came here on…read moreSunday around four to do the unlimited rounds, and on the first course they start you on--Sapphire--it was too crowded. There were huge groups all over and kids running around, and all of the holes are pretty close to each other, so we felt a little cramped while waiting a while for the big group ahead of us to play through. As we continued playing, and headed up to the two courses upstairs--Emerald and Ruby--the crowds thinned out and we were able to have more fun. No more long waits to play and more space to breathe and not feel like people are all over you. As for the courses themselves, my favorite and recommended course is Sapphire. It has the most unique and fun course design. Emerald and Ruby basically have the same course design, and were not as fun. The only downside is that Sapphire seemed to consistently be the most crowded course. In between rounds we stopped for a drink at the bar and got the non-alcoholic spritz, which was not very good. We didn't try any of the other food or drinks though. All told, I'd come back, but only later at night when it's less crowded.

This place is getting the low rating mostly because the one lady that was posted in front of the…read moresapphire course on the first level was absolutely the rudest human I've ever met in the service industry. She completely ruined my experience on that course by being rude, she didn't let us type in the number the way we had been doing it so she messed up our leaderboard and score tracking. She was absolutely the worst. I would never go back because of her. The place itself is fine. There's only 3 courses which isn't much variety, other Puttshacks have 4. I feel like there's a lot of wasted space. There's also a lot of glitches on some of the obstacles. The one air hockey one didn't give you the bonus like it was supposed to and most of the moving pieces were glitching or completely broken and the starting point on many of them were broken. The 25$ all you can putt deal is fantastic though. I absolutely love this deal and would purchase it any time. But I would never go back to this location ever.

OK so I want to love Battle Racing, but unfortunately this place leaves a lot to be desired…read more I recently went here for my cousins birthday because he wanted to live out his inner child dreams of doing real life Mario Kart. We went in a large group, and got to try out both the racing and the shooting game they offered. The actual race is so fun - you can buy a package to do two races that's around $25, but they offer group discounts and deals the more tickets you buy. I had a blast racing the go-karts, and it was even more fun because I beat my entire family much to their dismay. While the go-kart experience is fun, the entire experience of Battle Racing is pretty mediocre. The building itself is pretty run down, and the staff is not very welcoming or helpful. The place doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of other games to play while you wait your turn, and they also do not offer reservations and the experience is first come first served. I would imagine that creates a weird experience if you aren't the first ones to arrive like we were. There is only one bathroom for the entire space, so if the place is full you have to wait quite a bit. They also offer food and private party services, but seemed pretty unprepared for our private party which my cousin booked in advance with time details and food requests. I think this place could be really successful if they spruced the place up a bit, offered a bit more organization when it came to booking, and had a more welcoming team. There is definitely potential, but it missed the mark for our party this weekend. There is a free parking lot in the back of the building, as well as street parking. Overall, if you want to go-kart race here I would be prepared for an in-and-out experience as it's not a place you want to linger.

We either caught this place on the come-up (maybe a "soft opening"), or it has not reached its…read morepotential. The space is great & the location is good. The things that have been paid attention to (outside decor, the inside lighting, the overall theme etc) are well done. From that aspect, you are transported once you walk through the doors. But, the inner-workings lack the competitiveness to be in the same general area as K1 racing or Dave & Busters. There are better options that appear to run a tighter & cleaner operation 20 minutes in each direction. The battle karts were fun & do employ the gaming aspect that make them more than just go karts. But the software is wonky, the track felt small, & the safety precautions by the attendant were pretty much nonexistent (we had a 9 year old riding w the belt half on & a 14 year old who asked the attendant about tightening the seat belt only to be waved at & be told that it didn't matter). Eating in a room with only neon & black lights isn't too bad...unless you have to kill a roach (which we had to do) & then not having clear, bright-light sight of your food is concerning. (I know this is S FL & having a roach in a warehouse in downtown in the heat is hard to avoid - but this is my actual experience & if that sort of thing grosses you out, I thought you should know.). The gel-ball shooting game is pretty innovative - a mix between paintball & nerf that use small gel caps that sting but don't hurt too bad. Face masks are provided with different nerf implements to use as shields. The space for this competitive team shooting game is a shared space, with spare battle karts taking up a portion of the area. While the shooting zone is separated by a chain link fence, spectators do get hit with strays. Although players have masks, spectators are completely vulnerable. Several older people in our party opted to wear their sunglasses just to protect their eyes while watching others play. The location only has 1 bathroom, which is next to the shooting zone. So, if you are waiting in line during a match, there is a large probability that you will get hit (whether you are part of the party playing or not). The gel bullets move pretty fast & erratically - we found gel pellets in our curly hair for hours afterwards...a warning to anyone with textured styles. After driving & shooting, we were pretty warm. The place hasn't figured out ventilation & is generally warm. They do have air conditioning, but unless we stood directly below the vent - we were breaking a sweat. Here's the overall thing - I'm a Miami guy. I want to support small operations trying new things- even if they haven't quite figured it out yet. I like start ups, out-of-the-box labors of love. There are places that I haven't rated on Yelp bc I had a below average experience, but I felt that the proprietors were giving it their all. I'm not high maintenance - I don't need posh. And if this place had been in a non-gentrified area of town, I think I'd be okay. But, if you are going to spend money for go-karts & shooting games - I would regrettably suggest some place else.
