Fantastic experience with SUNation Energy. Was referred by a friend and had great dialogue with our…read morespecialist Rob Moser. He walked us through the process, the benefits of solar and what set up makes most sense for us. He also was able to get us great pricing which was almost 10% lower than other estimates. Paperwork and payment was a breeze! Once the permit was approved (took about 5 weeks after signing the agreement), they came and installed the panels in a few days which was impressive (probably lucked out with availability). The install crew (was literally an army! about 8-9 guys) came promptly at 7:45AM (15 minutes early which was great) and was finished by 1PM. The head of the crew walked me through the process and closed out great showing me the app and next steps. Clean up was also fantastic as nothing was left behind. Currently we are waiting for the inspection so we can start banking the unused solar for future use. But still we are generating over 45 kWh daily (on a sunny day) and our average usage is about 30 (we have 2 EV's) so we are about 150% efficiency which is great. Though we can not bank yet, we are still utilizing solar power so our electric bill for the past week will be minimal. All in all, SUNation Energy is extremely professional, very knowledgeable and customer service seems to be a top priority to them. My neighbor and inlaws are now interested in solar and will be referring them to SUNation and Rob Moser - they also have very nice cash incentives for referrals!!!

While they are good at taking your money and setting up the system, their service department is completely non-existent once something goes wrong. My solar system went completely down, and I notified them of the outage on October 5th. Today is October 14th, and after 9 days of multiple follow-ups, my system is still completely dark. Every single time I call, customer service just gives me empty promises, telling me "someone will call you back to help you out," but nobody ever does. They provide zero timeline and no indication of when actual help is coming. It is incredibly stressful and a massive waste of money. I am currently stuck paying my regular solar loan plus a high PSEG bill because my panels are not generating a single kilowatt. Do yourself a favor and choose a company that actually stands by their customers when the system fails.

Makes the house look much better and everything was cleaned up, no debris was left. You wouldn't even have been able to tell any work was done. I recommend using them if you need gutters. The price was reasonable. I also checked the gutters the next day and realized they put like a gutter guard mesh screen on them, which was a welcome surprise. We have had issues with the old gutters getting all clogged up with leaves and had to have them hosed out. Hopefully these screens will solve that issue.

He had one of his guys here the next day and they climbed on the roof, showed me photos of the damage, and a couple of other things our roofer in 2010 never took care of. Jacob was fair with his pricing and promised to have someone out the following day once the rain had stopped. The next morning his crew showed up right on time and got to work. Four hours later my roof was fixed and in better condition than it was previously. All in all very easy experience and Jacob's workers are pleasant. They also left no mess! Babe Roof replaced my asphalt shingled roof a few years ago. I was happy with their price, and…read morehappy with the results. There are a couple things worth mentioning: 1. For many months after the job, I found roofing nails on my driveway and lawn. I assume these escaped the crew during the work, and later blew off the roof and/or came down the gutters & leaders. Could probably happen regardless of the best intentions of the roofers. I don't hold this against Babe Roof. 2. If the roof work is "one and done", Babe Roof is a fine choice. My one beef with Babe Roof: they won't come back for subsequent repairs. A couple years after the roof replacement, a leak developed around a skylight. I called Babe Roof first, thinking we had a relationship I was told the boss would call me back. They never did. A few years later, I needed a small roof vent removed and closed up. I called Babe Roof first, and was told they don't do repairs and couldn't refer me to a contractor who does. My advice to anyone seeking a roof replacement to ask about subsequent repairs. Ideally they put an affirmative response in writing. Better yet, after receiving the proposal, call the contractor and tell them they replaced your roof a few years back, and you'd like them back for a repair. If they respond with "sure, let me look up your account", you found a good one.

I gave my deposit and then was called several weeks later and said they could not do the job for that amount due to the rise in prices during COVID. The prices had already gone up when I was given the estimate, so I didn't understand why the sudden change. I think they realized that the estimate was on the low side. They will be sending me back my deposit, putting it in the mail tomorrow morning. I just don't think this is good business.
