I highly, highly recommend this treatment with Anne and will definitely be back! Got to fill out a form before asking about my preferences, and target areas. You know the massage is good when you catch yourself snoring a little bit, and this was exactly that. I was able to use ClassPass credits for this, and it was worth every bit.

It was seriously freaky - and so helpful! I got a crown and sole massage because my back isn't usually my problem, and it was perfect! I have been seeing Dr. Ann Rea for just over 4 months and I don't know if I will be able to…read moreproperly articulate how grateful I truly am. This was my first experience with Acupuncture and cupping, and I was definitely hesitant into believing it was going to make any sort of a difference at all. I couldn't have been more wrong, and I am so pleased that I tried. For over a year and a half I have been suffering with some sort of back pain that was so debilitating it was keeping me from working. On top of that I have been suffering from interstitial cystitis for close to 20 years. It took a very long time for me to even get diagnosed, let alone any help. Most doctors told me the same thing over and over again; that there is no cure and that there is no treatment. On top of those things I also suffer from ovarian cysts that rupture, painful periods, undiagnosed stomach issues, and a whole mess of anxiety. When I showed up in their office for my consultation I feel like I was beyond defeated. My body was in pain and my heart and mind had almost given up. Dr. Ann sat with me for an over an hour going over every tiny detail of my pains, my previous diagnosis, treatments I've tried, my diet, my daily life, and absolutely everything I could think of. It was amazing to finally sit down with a doctor and have her actually listen to me. To have her listen to me and BELIEVE me that what I was experiencing was real. Time and time again women's issues are completely disregarded and I was really feeling the effect of that mentally. Dr. Ann changed all that. Each appointment when I go in she goes over everything that's happened since the last time that I saw her. She treats me, my body, and mind. Flash forward 4 1/2 months later, and I am almost entirely pain-free. There are days where I still don't believe it. It seems to good to be true to feel completely normal again. However, it's real, and I am proof. I don't think I can say enough positive things about Dr. Ann and Emily. If you are having any issues, particularly woman's issues, this is where you need to go. Don't wait. Just get yourself feeling better.

After years of seeing GI doctors, my issues would slightly improve but soon I would find I was deep in a cesspool of gastro issues again. A friend recommended Dr. Peter Chow at The Way Acupuncture and it turned out to be a life-changing recommendation. He is an respected practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have seen Dr. Chow for about six months; however I experienced significant improvement as early as the third visit. I was estatic as the GI doctor had provided no relief in the previous six months. Over time Dr. Chow has restored balance to my system using what seems to be passive techniques. He prescribes herbs that are used as needed. I made my appointment online a few days in advance, completed my forms online, and day of I was shocked to find 2 spots right in front of the building (in Old Town Scottsdale on a Saturday!). Jazmine was my therapist and she started off by giving me an overview then I changed and got onto the table (just like you would for a massage) and she came back to start working on me. Activating the lymphatic system only requires light touch followed by a stronger massage to start moving the toxins to their exit point and reducing inflammation.
