Well... It does the job. Cheap price. Nice that it's right across the street from a couple museums and walking distance from several restaurants, a park, the old steam train, and the historic downtown. Google says there's a free breakfast, but apparently that ended a long time ago. There's just free coffee in the lobby from 6:30 to 9: 30am. No pool anymore either. Shower was clean and worked well. Soap bars and little conditioning shampoo bottle provided. But our bed was definitely sagging in the middle and not too comfortable to wake up from in the morning. We were stuck in this town because our car overheated and had to go to the mechanic. The owner at the front desk did not seem to show any sympathy or any emotion at all for us. She was just there to do business. It would have been nice for her show at least some sort of emotion for us and our troubles... She could have told us what there was to do in the area that was walking distance, or given us restaurant recommendations, or asked us how we were doing each time she saw us during our stay, etc. read more

Coming back from Flagstaff after visiting our son and seeing the Grand Canyon, we knew we could not make it home unless we arrived at 1:30 am. We did not want to drive into the night as we are "young" senior citizens so we were looking to stay the night in Kingman before heading home the next morning. We chose the Arizona Inn for the reviews and cost. We were not disappointed. We arrived in Kingman about 7:30 pm. We had called and alerted the motel management that we would arrive in the later evening. No problem. We were helped by a nice woman of--I believe--East Indian ethnicity. We asked for an were given an upstairs room. The room was average size with two queen beds as requested. More importantly, it was clean. There is a fridge and microwave, as well as a hair dryer. The shower and AC worked great. We actually found the beds more comfortable than at many more expensive hotels that we've stayed at. The exterior is well kept. The location is not in the best part of Kingman, but we still felt safe. Next door there is a Mexican eatery that our hostess told us is more "fast foodish". Across the street and within easy walking distance is Calicos, a family diner. There is a museum right across the street. We left by 7 am the next day and headed home. In summary, we would definitely stay here again if we were passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. read more

We stopped here for 1 night on the last leg of a 5000 mile road trip, before we drove home to Southern California. We had a king room for $70. This is the best hotel/motel we stayed at on the entire trip. The room was a good size with great lighting. The water pressure was good, with plenty of hot water. There was no coffee maker in the room & there is no breakfast, but for this price, that is totally understandable. There is a very good cafe across the street. The motel is located within walking distance to the Route 66 museum. Parking is plentiful & free. We parked right in front of our room. I originally had trepidation about this place after reading reviews. To my delight, my experience was actually entirely positive. For a small town inn, I think it was quite pleasant. I'm used to bigger name hotels, and I'm always worried about these smaller motel-style outfits because they're so hit-or-miss (usually miss). The room we got (106) was renovated, clean, and functional. I carefully inspected the sheets and mattresses for bugs or other debris and it was clean. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked. Shower, tub, and toilet were spotless. Bed and sheets were comfortable enough. The exterior could use a little TLC, but that is entirely aesthetic. The hotel was quiet when I was there. No noises from outside. Front-desk lady was very respectful and efficient. Management respected my "do not disturb" sign. I didn't try the internet/Wi-Fi, TV, microwave, or fridge. They were all on and working though. It's a functional and comfortable place to have a good night's sleep, and get on your way the next day. read more

Covid Road Trip - It's ah well...what do you think honey, kind of look to the place. the lobby is a bit sketch, tired is a good adjective too...humm...how much for two queens? the kid gave me a "look"...beds I mean...no smoking and upstairs too if you have one. I ask for an upstairs room in the hotels that were built thirty or forty years ago, experience. The nephew assured me the rooms were good, clean sheets? yes. Good water pressure? yes. nice shitter? yes. hum... how much then? $45, Ok book it, thanks. The room was great! Terrific mattress, new larger size refrigerator with a freezer for blue ice. New microwave, new flat screen, newly remodeled and tiled bathroom. Hey best deal we found. No free breakfast but Calico's is across the street we had dinner and breakfast there, good place too. We slept well shower pressure was real good, towels would be my only complaint. Towels too small and too thin, I think we had better in gym. For the location and our situation, this place was good. The initial smell of the on again, off again AC was a bit off putting, but it dissipated over time. The beds were firm, but there were two of them and they were both queen size. Inside there was a Flat screen TV, surprisingly fast Wi-fi and all the bedding and towels looked and felt clean and organized. Free coffee and pastries from Svenhardt's. It was perfect for passing through after 4 days of camping through UT and AZ. And most importantly, the price was right for Labor Day weekend where other places were charging an arm and a leg. I would look this place up again if i needed a one night stay passing through Kingman again. read more

Pros: clean room with mostly newer furniture, comfy bed, big tv, fridge and micro standard, good wifi, seems to usually be just south of $50 a night and can book thru Hotels.com and such at that rate. The people who run it (family that lives on site) also seem to be on the ball and take good care of it. Cons: Older kinda rickety Route 66 roadside motel, a number of rooms seem to have flimsy conjoining doors with no deadbolt (just one of those little cylinder slide lock things like you sometimes see in restrooms), no HBO or Showtime tho listed as available, no in-room coffee maker, no ventilation fan in the bathroom. Biggest advantage is probably the good location. It's a short walk to downtown Kingman which actually has several good restaurants and a couple of breweries going. Also a Mexican restaurant right next door, tho I didn't try it. It's a short walk up the street to several other restaurants plus a Dollar General. Not bad in a pinch I guess. Would prefer a little more privacy and less Ricket but it's doable for one night at least if the rate is good. read more

This is a budget rate motel, which is exactly what I wanted. The room and the parking lot were very clean. The room had two comfortable, queen beds for the price and a large mini refrigerator while the carpet looked new and was pleasantly padded for walking barefoot. I did not try the included breakfast. This would have been a 5-star rating except for two minor issues and one that annoys me more than it bothers others. For the minor issues, there was no posting of checkout time or other lodging regulations. Perhaps Arizona doesn't require this? But it's still good for the clientele. The other was some paint spatters on a bathroom wall. The true annoyance was that the hot and cold water at the sink were switched. In the US hot should always be on the left. I showed up in Kingman about 9 pm. Stopped at the Arizonan. I was a little skeptical at first, the lobby needs a little work there's like a Walmart carpet that should have been thrown out a couple years ago. I stopped here because I wanted a beer and the Sportsman's Inn is within walking distance. I was really happy when I got to my room. Its clean all the flooring looks fairly new and nice. Bathrooms are clean etc. if you're traveling this is the perfect place to get a good nights sleep.Clean no bugs nice young gentleman working the counter, just don't expect all the frills. read more

i'll agree with previous posts, you get what you pay for. i'm satisfied as the room was clean, didn't smell, and i felt pretty safe in the area. the concierge was friendly enough. the bathroom door doesnt fully close and our little shampoo bottle was half empty. not a big deal to me personally but most hotels dont have little issues like these. beds were comfy and tv worked well. maybe i'm just in a bad room for connection but my wifi was a bit spotty, despite other posts saying theirs worked well which was interesting. i would recommend this for one night just passing through, it gets the job done without emptying your pockets. read more

"Feel like I stayed in a crack hotel" quote from my boyfriend... Ok, truth... No bed bugs (one star), as clean as the room can be with how old it is (two star)... But a huge step down from the econo lodge and super 8 we have already stayed at on our travels west this week.... tube tv, does have a mini fridge and microwave, so slight perk. No mini coffee maker. No mini bottle of shampoo -and I was out!ugh. Made the mistake of not reading the yelp reviews and used the Google reviews. Apparently those people stayed in the renovated rooms? If they have any? We were in one of the last rooms and well... They have those flat horrible beds with the blue and white stripes. This whole place comes off as cheap cheap cheap. They even ask you to have$2 cash to deposit for the plastic key card! No fitted sheets, so we ended up on the nasty old mattress. Just the sheet and the mattress! They have the old nasty thin comforter that you know you shouldn't use cause they don't change them.... But it was so cold and there was just that one sheet...I had to use it. Other places have another sheet and blanket that they do change so you're not cold and don't have to use the comforter. I feel so dirty.... But then again.... No bed bugs.... But would have rather spent a few more dollars and stayed somewhere else even just for the night as a pass through... Oh and we didn't shower since I had no shampoo and the ceiling was peeling off and falling in the shower... read more

Cheap room. Wi-Fi and TV are about the only amenities. I did a fairly thorough check for bedbugs and did not locate any which is good. But I have questions as to when the last time the floor was vacuumed. The sheets and bed had hair all over it. The only thing I can say is you get what you pay for. Start by saying I was driving through town and after 12 hours on road I needed to sleep. This was the only one with a room available for under $100. When I pulled up I was nervous, as I Am a traveling female alone. But I asked to see room before I paid. They were very nice at front desk. I paid only $54. All I cared is that it was clean. On Travelocity we paid $56 for what turned out to be a really nice room. The beds were firm. The shower and air-conditioning work pretty well. Large room firm beds and clean. Microwave and refrigerator both in good working order. There was no stopper for the sink. And the TV signal went a little bit in and out. The train tracks are very close by but there was no train noise. The motel is also across the street from a park that has an old steam engine in it. I called with a question about our reservation and had a little difficulty communicating... but all in all it was a wonderful stay and if you're traveling 450 miles a day it's absolutely worth it. read more

They charge no difference from a fancy motel 6 with the quality of a $5 an hour room! PROS; Free excellent speed of WIFI, but dont give out your code else they will charge you up to $50!! Pillows where really worn out and woke with neck pain. Sheets did not look very clean on my bed, and the other bed we found a dirty snot rag from tp! The electric socket in the bathroom was falling out of the wall. Could not open window for air in bathroom, as it was infested with ALLOT of bugs. Bathroom walls and door was covered in graffiti! We woke with little bites all over us, probably bed bugs. Called them to let them know all of this. His response was that if we were not happy with the room, why did we stay there? I told him i had been driving for 14 hrs straight and they were the first motel we came across that had vacancy. We didnt really comprehend all of this about the room until we woke the next morning. He said that he would have his own pest control company check the room out. If he confirms the bed bugs, (if its HIS company, i doubt they will agree), he will give some partial compensation but that is it! A few bucks most likely! Any more than 10 minutes with the room key and no refund anyway! STAY AWAY if you care not to be ripped off or catch something here! read more

I actually had a good experience here. For a cheap motel I think this place was worth the price. Got here around 1 am, paid $44th for a one bed. I was expecting to enter a nasty little room but it was actually extremely clean. Its a motel so you shouldn't expect a fancy place. This motel is well cared for and has all the basic amenities you should expect. A new, TV, mini fridge, microwave, shower... I was very pleased with my experience here and got a good nights sleep to continue the long road trip. read more

I had seen other posts complaining about the Wifi, they must have put in more routers because my tablet needs a strong signal to function and it worked well, and my room was about as far from the office as you can get. This is Kingman. AZ... given the population of the town and the other low-end motel options available, I'd have to say this place is 4-star by comparison. It's not a four star hotel, but it's much nicer and cleaner, with friendlier staff, than the motel 6's here. Plus they had two rooms available when the motel 6's did not. Free breakfast too. Also the option for 3 beds with the third having its own room/door. It's about 15$ more than the motel 6's per night though. read more
