Fantastic! Everything was spotless and the showers were hot , huge, and great water pressure. The host was very nice and went over and above to show us some tips since we are new RV-ers. The location is quiet and peaceful, just faint traffic noise in the distance but it was not a problem at all.

What a lovely display for Easter morning!

Room to roam! If you do nothing else during your stay, take a stroll around the extensive grounds and enjoy the abundant varieties of flora in the park. Nicely kept, roomy spaces. Note that renovations are underway through Summer 2015 so some sites are closed. Call ahead and make your reservations!!

We've been stopping at this park for years on travels up and down the highway. We love it. Easy on and off. Wide spaces. Quiet and peaceful. Fair fee. Laundry. Pet area. Propane. Store and library. Picnic areas. And all set in a beautiful location. I love the Petro Gas and Buffet a stone's throw away. No need to cook. As others have said, it's a wonderful stop for the weary road warrior.

Stayed here for the night on our way to Monument Valley. This place is nice. The parking for my trailer was nice and flat. Had all the hookups. Real clean bathrooms and showers. There is a horse shoe pit and a little store. It has a nice area to keep your horses overnight.

Nice quiet place to camp, easy hook ups, friendly staff.

Decent Base Camp Near Downtown Kingman…read more We had a pleasant experience at this RV park, even though we had to cut our stay short due to a change in plans. The office staff was polite and very helpful--they made the check-in process quick and smooth, and they were understanding and efficient when helping us get a refund for our unused nights. The park offers full hookups and has plenty of space for both pull-thru and back-in parking. However, the sites are unpaved and not completely level, which made setting up our camper and sewer hookup a bit tricky. There are a few trees for partial shade, but you'll definitely want to use your awning. Be prepared for some dust and sand--bringing a good door mat is highly recommended! We weren't able to test the Wi-Fi as it was down during our visit. On the plus side, the park has clean restrooms and a laundry room, as well as a pool and a propane filling station. We didn't use the pool because it was a bit chilly and not heated. It's also located right off the main road with only a wrought iron fence for separation, which didn't offer much privacy. There appeared to be a number of long-term guests, many with elaborate setups like smokers and canopies, giving the place a lived-in, community vibe. The atmosphere felt family-friendly and safe, with folks enjoying themselves into the evening hours. The location is convenient--just a few miles from downtown Kingman. It's bike-friendly, with flat terrain and easy access via back roads. Downtown Kingman is charming, full of niche antique shops, great restaurants, bars, and even an awesome record store. You're also just down the street from essentials like a supermarket, Walmart, and AutoZone. In the end, the price was fair, the location solid, and the vibes reasonable. It's not paradise, but it's a good place to set up camp while you explore the quirks of Kingman. We'd recommend it to fellow travelers, dusty boots and all.

She was so friendly giving information on how to get to the trail as well as to answer any other questions we had. The rangers office had bathrooms to use as well as a fountain to fill up with water . They had picnic tables to the side of the office were you could eat your lunch and also gave a great map for you to find your way around and guide you safely . Definitely need a few days to see everything and I can say it is just beautiful.

We have a large family and because of the shutdown were unable to get together for Easter dinner…read morethis year because of this my daughter and her family decided to rent a cabin in the hualapai's for her son's second Easter. Because her husband is an essential worker they were unable to get there until late I'm the evening and because they had not paid in full, first thing in the morning went to the office and paid the remaining balance. They spent the day hiking and enjoying the beauty of the mountain and in the afternoon went in the local store to buy some firewood when the rude employees told them they had to leave because they didn't pay for their cabin, after they showed proof of payment their were no apologies made. Later that evening, after dinner they started a fire in the pit and after a while the baby got tired so they went in the cabin to lay the baby down. Not five minutes had gone by when they got a knock on the door and it was the park ranger by the name of what appears to be E. Mejir not sure though sloppy writing. He told them that they weren't supposed to leave the fire unattended (something they were not told before) and that they had 30 minutes to leave the park, they obeyed woke the baby up and packed the car and was followed by the ranger all the way down the mountain with him on their bumper and his brights on drove the over an hour drive home late Saturday before Easter. When she called the next morning to complain he (Mejir) took the phone from the woman she was speaking to and said that he went back to the campsite after they left and found drugs. This accusation was so outrageous she was shocked, my daughter is due with her second baby in June and just wanted a nice Easter which was ruined. Yesterday my daughter received a ticket in the mail for possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment! All because of a badge heavy ranger that supposedly "found" drugs outside of a cabin that we were in less than a day. This may be a beautiful place but the staff and ranger make sure that it's where fun goes to die.
