We stayed at Fort Beale Rv Park this past weekend 3/17/23 as we explored downtown Kingman in Arizona. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. The park is conviently located off the I-40 and despite being so close to the freeway, the noise level was at a minimum. Nothing you couldn't drown out with a fan or a tv show. To be honest after staying In Some truck or rest stops overnight, the noise was hardly noticeable. If the noise bothers you, you must be a light sleeper. They had close to 40 spots available with 20/30/50 amp hookups, water and dump stations at each spot. The sites were gravel and relatively level. They all came with a picnic table and wonderful trees for some extra shade. (It is Arizona so the trees don't offer much but just enough) They offer daily, weekly and even monthly sites. While they have a pool, it was closed as we are visiting in March. Not a big deal as it's relatively windy at the moment. Their bathrooms were extremely clean, with private showers and toilets. I do know for a fact they get cleaned every day. Laundry, wifi, and a dog run are also included. The dog run is on the smaller side so be sure to note that. Overall we score this park at a solid 9 out of 10 and definitely would stay again. It's a small and simple park located within town but it was well worth the price for a weekend of solitude in Kingman, AZ. read more

Convenient quick stop with friendly staff, clean and mostly level site. Trains are pretty consistent throughout the night but I only heard one honk its horn late at night. Otherwise, it was pretty easy to sleep through it and I'm not a heavy sleeper. Didn't have time to use any of the facilities. Hookup was standard and easy to use, located in the center of the site so you can access by pulling in from either direction. We ended up adjusting how we parked to make sure our cord reached but it ended up being fine; a standard extension cord should work no matter how/where you pull in. read more

You couldn't ask for a better place for hospitality, quietness and cleanliness whether your staying one night, a week, a month or decide to call it home! Their prices are more than fair, you are close to everything you need and right off the freeway! Laundry prices are very fair and room & bathrooms are super clean. This RV Park is right off of I40 & convenient to the Grand Canyon SkyWalk, Hoover Dam & the cute town of Oatman with their wandering wild donkeys. The RV Sites are wide & long. It easily accommodates our 36' fifth wheel & Ford F-250 Truck with room to spare! They have laundry, bathrooms with showers, if you need it & a Seasonal swimming pool. The manager, Vicki called us to confirm our reservation & was so kind when we showed up in the office. This is our first time here & as Full Time RVers we are loving the Park. Beautiful Mountain View's surround the park. Prices are awesome. We are here for a week & its $240 that includes tax. I would have given it 5 stars but the pads are just gravel. If they were concrete oh boy a 5 for sure!! This place will be on our list when we are in this area again!! read more

This was our first RV park stop on our first RV trip ever and it set the bar really high for the parks that followed. The grounds are spotless, the bathrooms are immaculate and the pool was well kept and a fun break. Hearing this was our first trip, the manager came out to make sure we knew how to hook everything up and that we were ok. The site was large and an easy pull through - perfect for our first try at parking it. We didn't have our dog with us, but it is obviously pet friendly and we were happy to pet all of the dogs that walked by. Thanks for a great night! read more

We stayed here for one night on our recent Route 66/Grand Canyon Roadtrip. Vicki was so nice when taking our reservation, calling the day prior to confirm, and in the office upon check-in. We were given the very first pull-in spot next to the office, which allowed us easy access to the pool and spotless bathroom and shower. The dog park in the back corner is well lit, and has a supply of bags if you happen to forgot one. You can tell that the park, although small, is well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again and can recommend it to anyone needing a place in Kingman. read more

This was the first RV Park stop of many on the trip to move my parents out to Texas. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised how well kept and clean the park is. They offer all the amenities that RV parks should have and it all seemed to work well. It is situated in a neighborhood right off of Interstate 40 and also near the famed Route 66 corridor of Kingman. I was surprised how little I heard of the nearby freeway traffic nor local traffic, well insulated I guess. Was even able to get a nice morning walk in from here, it's very close to downtown and the Route 66 Shopping District as well! This place had everything I needed at least for the night and subsequent morning, good show! read more

We stayed here on a pass through to the Grand Canyon. It was a very clean and friendly RV park easily located off the main highway. The spots were level and pull thru. There is a train that goes through on a regular basis but we didn't seem to mind. We would stay here again. We were in a 37' fifth wheel. read more

Arrived at closing time and was greeted with a smile, They were completely full and didn't have to save our spot but glad they did. We have a 13yr old Sundowner horse trailer with living quarters and this was the maiden voyage for hookups, prior to this we did dry camping with generators, The nice lady that opened up when we arrived nervously asked "Is that a horse trailer?" I replied yes but no horses this trip. Anyway, we were definitely the hillbillies in Beverly Hills but all said hello and were courteous. When my wife fell ill on the final leg home from our vacation and had to go to the hospital in Kingman, this was an emergency stop for the night. I was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean and quiet this place is and if I ever come through here again and need a place to stay this will be a place that I would definitely stay at again. Even though I was two spots over from the office the Wi-Fi was pretty horrible but that is the only thing negative I can think of and I have Verizon LTE which has a strong signal here so this was not a problem. All hook ups were good, and the pull through setup was convenient. The problem is the witch that manages the place. I asked if they gave a discount for longer stays, and she lied and said no. After getting back to my trailer and seeIng weekly and monthly rates on the menu, I went up to the office to see if I could get the monthly rate. As I walked up to her, she just stared at me blankly, like I was an alien. Finally, I utilized my manners and said hello, and she still stared blankly. I asked if I could stay for a month, and she snottily said no. I said OK and walked away. I found Sunrise RV park, which offered a monthly rate, and the people were very pleasant and polite. Before I left, I shared my experience with a longtime resident, and he agreed that the manager was an expletive. read more

The park itself is very nice and clean. The people who run it are very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was they offer WiFi and cable but in the entire week we were there we never once were able to connect to the WiFi and the cable signal was lousy! No concession was offered for this lack of advertised service. read more

Of all the RV parks in Kingman, this was the only park that answered my call on a Sunday...and I'm glad they did. Judy was super sweet both over the phone and in person. Driving through town from Flagstaff, we experienced car trouble. I found Fort Beale RV on the internet. We pulled in without a reservation and were greeted by friendly office staff. We got a site with a small shade tree. The campground was clean and quiet. While our vehicle was repaired the next morning we were able to walk to the historic downtown area. I have a lot of good things to say about this place. As far as RV parks go, it's a nice place. The site was long, wide, and level. My tow vehicle + rig is 54' and I usually need to unhitch to fit in a space and park my truck next to the tongue. The site was long enough that I didn't need to unhitch, but I did anyway to I could get gas without the monstrosity behind me. The bathrooms and showers were spotless and my kids enjoyed the pool. The owner/manager made sure I knew where the local restaurants were and that they were within walking distance. After dinner, we walked to Old Town Kingman and to a local park that has an old Santa Fe locomotive on display. The next morning is when I was really impressed. We were ready to leave. Everything was put away and we were hitched up. I went to move the pop out back in and it wouldn't go in straight - it was cockeyed. We were stuck and I was anticipating a long wait for roadside assistance. It took me about 20 minutest to figure out, but I discovered that a critical bolt connected to a shaft between the two tracks of the pop out had sheared off. I retrieved the pieces of the bolt in the gravel and went to ask the Don at the office about where I could find a replacement in town. He led me to his shed and we found a bolt with the same diameter. He even offered me his tools and help, but due to it's location was basically a 1 man job. I have a cheap "made in China" tool kit that came with my rig, but it did the job. I got the new bolt installed and we were on our way. It was about an hour delay, but I learned a little RV DIY. They saved me a huge headache and I wish I could give them a higher rating. read more

Great little RV park in old Kingman. Not very big but clean level sites, gravel. No grass. About 1/3 are pull through (me). I would (will) stop here again while passing through to points east. The old Santa Fe 4-8-4 Mountain steam engine is a short walk, worth seeing if your into that sort of thing. (I am). Pet friendly but the fenced pet area is small and gravel, the puppies complained of sore toes hence 4 stars. Lower than usual site rates, a plus!. p read more

This is just a great place to stop over for a night on your way down the 40. Neat, clean, reasonably priced, well-managed. Surface is a fine gravel that is easy to set-up on. We were on a long pull and set to arrive late. They called us to make sure we were still coming and our spot was there for us at 9:00 PM. Highly recommend this place. read more
