Cabin #6 was perfect for us!
    Catherine C.

Nice cabin away from it all! Would definitely stay here again to break up the drive to Phoenix / Scottsdale / Glendale Arizona - approximately 2.5 hours away. Great value for the price! For less than $65 we decided to stay in a 1 bedroom cabin (#6) on our way down to Glendale, AZ for Dodger's Spring Training. Check in was really easy with contactless access as we didn't arrive until after 11:00PM. Room had a queen sized bed and twin bunk beds no restroom - had to walk to nearby community restroom. Community restrooms were immaculately clean! Heater was available but we still had to bundle up. Room also included small dining table with folding chairs, fridge & microwave. VERY SECURE double locked front door. Free wi-fi but our mobile (AT&T) gave us better reception. Check out was delightful at the front office with friendly assistant manager and sweet pooch. Thank you KOA!

While the amenities are lacking and things (like the pool) need to be updated, this was a great place to stop with my kids. I loved the small size, the staff was really great and everything was clean. I did a morning jog around the campground and along the road and it was beautiful. It is close to a local Walmart and gas stations. We stayed in a camping cabin which was clean and had everything we needed. It made our first experience with KOA a great one. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

The Kingman KOA was an hour and a half drive from Las Vegas and was the perfect little getaway for our family. We stayed in the deluxe cabin with porch and it far exceeded my expectations of a campground cabin. It was clean, well maintained, well insulated and I didn't even have to run the heater at night in November. The cabin came with toiletries, clean towels and linens, kitchen utensils, cutting board and knife, dining table, tv with cable, microwave, mini fridge, a queen size bed, a separate room with a bunk bed with twin bunk on top and full on the bottom. The porch outside the door had a table with seating for 4 and in front of the porch there was a gas grill and fire pit with 2 chairs. The grounds were clean, quiet, and well patrolled. There is a horseshoe pit, mini golf, game room, very reasonably priced store, a food truck that serves breakfast and lunch. The staff on the grounds and at the store were so friendly and accommodating. The grounds itself was very convenient, 5-10 min drive from gas stations, stores, and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back to this location for our next fishing trip and to visit Keepers of the Wild (tickets bought on Groupon $27 for 2 adults and 2 children or $18 for 2 adults). Thank you, KIngman KOA, for the hospitality. We will be seeing you again soon!

We were driving from LA to the Grand Canyon and had no plans to stop here, but I called at 530 to see if they would still be open. We had a camper van and the woman was very nice, saying someone would be there until 7:30 pm. We got there around 6:40 and she was gone, and we couldn't find the other person. He eventually did come out and get us settled. First time staying at a KOA, but very good experience. Clean and safe and beautiful views of the mountains when we woke up!

We reserved a pet friendly cabin and it was so much fun. You really can't beat the price and was prefect for a quick getaway. The cabin has a full sized bed and two twin sized bunk beds. Bring your own linens and towels! We loved the bench swing on the cabin. Also took advantage of the dog park. There's also a mini golf and pool! The cabin was super clean and the ac did a good job of keeping it comfortable in this well above 100 degree weather! As a single woman traveling alone with her dog I felt safe and comfortable.

    Spoiled chicken

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! As we entered our room there was a horrible smell of something rotten! After looking around we found old rotten chicken in the drawer of the dresser. Went down to complain about what we found and the customer service was even worse. Very rude and not at all accommodating! Obviously the room was not cleaned according to CDC guidelines! We are in a pandemic and they leave open half eaten rotten food in a room they supposedly cleaned. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

The office staff was polite and very helpful--they made the check-in process quick and smooth, and they were understanding and efficient when helping us get a refund for our unused nights. The park offers full hookups and has plenty of space for both pull-thru and back-in parking. However, the sites are unpaved and not completely level, which made setting up our camper and sewer hookup a bit tricky. There are a few trees for partial shade, but you'll definitely want to use your awning. Be prepared for some dust and sand--bringing a good door mat is highly recommended! We weren't able to test the Wi-Fi as it was down during our visit. On the plus side, the park has clean restrooms and a laundry room, as well as a pool and a propane filling station. We didn't use the pool because it was a bit chilly and not heated. It's also located right off the main road with only a wrought iron fence for separation, which didn't offer much privacy. There appeared to be a number of long-term guests, many with elaborate setups like smokers and canopies, giving the place a lived-in, community vibe. The atmosphere felt family-friendly and safe, with folks enjoying themselves into the evening hours. The location is convenient--just a few miles from downtown Kingman. It's bike-friendly, with flat terrain and easy access via back roads. Downtown Kingman is charming, full of niche antique shops, great restaurants, bars, and even an awesome record store. You're also just down the street from essentials like a supermarket, Walmart, and AutoZone. In the end, the price was fair, the location solid, and the vibes reasonable. It's not paradise, but it's a good place to set up camp while you explore the quirks of Kingman. We'd recommend it to fellow travelers, dusty boots and all.

The boat launch is nice and wide and the lot has a good amount of parking. The bar/restaurant had a very nice and friendly bartender. Other than one person at the bar, it was us as a party of four. We wanted a snack and picked a thai chili flavored chicken fries. It was a very unique appetizer but the flavors worked well! It was sweet, spicy, the pickled onions added a nice layer of flavor and the fries were crisp and hot. I really liked it! I have been to Pirate's Cove before when it was a very busy weekend and packed. In contrast to this particular visit, it was super chill and so relaxing! It was like having the resort to ourselves!

Because her husband is an essential worker they were unable to get there until late I'm the evening and because they had not paid in full, first thing in the morning went to the office and paid the remaining balance. They spent the day hiking and enjoying the beauty of the mountain and in the afternoon went in the local store to buy some firewood when the rude employees told them they had to leave because they didn't pay for their cabin, after they showed proof of payment their were no apologies made. Later that evening, after dinner they started a fire in the pit and after a while the baby got tired so they went in the cabin to lay the baby down. Not five minutes had gone by when they got a knock on the door and it was the park ranger by the name of what appears to be E. Mejir not sure though sloppy writing. He told them that they weren't supposed to leave the fire unattended (something they were not told before) and that they had 30 minutes to leave the park, they obeyed woke the baby up and packed the car and was followed by the ranger all the way down the mountain with him on their bumper and his brights on drove the over an hour drive home late Saturday before Easter. When she called the next morning to complain he (Mejir) took the phone from the woman she was speaking to and said that he went back to the campsite after they left and found drugs. This accusation was so outrageous she was shocked, my daughter is due with her second baby in June and just wanted a nice Easter which was ruined. Yesterday my daughter received a ticket in the mail for possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment! All because of a badge heavy ranger that supposedly "found" drugs outside of a cabin that we were in less than a day. This may be a beautiful place but the staff and ranger make sure that it's where fun goes to die.
