Not bad not great. Normal KOA. If you want quiet and privacy, go elsewhere. If you want luxury camping, elsewhere too. Good value? You guessed it, elsewhere. But if you just want a place to pitch your tent or park your rig for roughly the same price as a cheap motel, this place works. The bathrooms are clean. There's an inaccurate review saying they require a code. That's only the showers. The satellite bathrooms spaced around the park need no code. It's well lit. A review claimed it was dark but even the tent sites have individual lights. You won't need a lantern or flashlight here. The sites are decent for a KOA. I've stayed at many and this one would be above average in that respect. Other Route 66 KOAs give you a square of gravel in a parking lot. Here there are lush trees and shrubs between all the RV and tent sites. And there's plenty of space to put a larger tent, unlike many KOAs. The staff is friendly and helpful. Fun to chat with while browsing the typical camp store of kitschy souvenirs. I'd stay here again. It's average to above average for a KOA. If you're expecting something else, stay elsewhere. KOAs aren't for everyone. read more

The customer service here is amazing. We arrived after hours and there was a young man who greeted us and showed us to our spot. He even asked if we knew how to connect everything or if we wanted him to go over it. The next morning, as we were getting ready to leave, our electric step would not retract. We asked if they had tools we could borrow and they were so helpful with suggestions for how to try to fix it and one young man even helped my husband remove the step. They didn't have to help at all but went above and beyond. read more

The lady at the desk was very friendly. Paid $51 with taxes, less discount. After spending days staying at parks with no shade or escape from the wind this was an oasis to me. Trees for shade and shrubs on each side of the site to block the wind. The sites are tight but clean. We have a 32' motorcoach with 2 slides towing a car. The young man that showed us to our site offered to help my husband hook up and when the offer was declined said if we needed help later he would be glad to help us. There are stores a short distance away and we drove about 4 miles to the downtown historic district to have dinner. We would stay here again. read more

One of the nicer KOAs I've ever stayed in. Each tent site was its own fenced off area. WiFi worked great. Showers were great. Staff was nice. They have a lot to do there. It's in a great location too pretty much downtown. Almost all the food you can think of is within a few miles. I'd only take a half star off because we asked to be put into an electric site and were put into a non electric. We moved but she didn't charge me enough. Instead of saying "oh that's fine you're good!," She made me come into the office and charged my card $3 and change more. They're kind of expensive too. read more

We stayed two nights. It was a 7 hour drive for us, and we left early to avoid traffic, so I was thrilled when they allowed us to check in early. We stayed in one of the lodges and it was very clean. Staff responded quickly when we told them the shower drain was slow. Very friendly staff. Peaceful location. There was a comfortable bbq/campfire area attached to our lodge that we would've loved to have used if we had more time there. We were in town for an event sans kids so we didn't get to take much advantage of the KOA grounds. However, it was perfect for our stay and we would stay there again if we were to end up in Kingman in the future. read more

We stayed in spot 114 right in front of the golf course and dog park. We had more than enough room for our RV the locals that stay in the campground (not very many live here) are super friendly! One local actually made us waffles in the morning. There is lots to do here. Our girls loved the pool, super clean and modern restrooms and showers. The req room, golf and pool are free for those who stay. We will definitely be coming back.! read more

We usually stay at my Daughter's apartment when we visit her and the kids in Kingman but this time my wife and I decided to stay at the KOA. It's hot out there this time of year and a place with a pool sounded good to me. What a gem this place was. Pool and hot tub was great, nice and clean. The little cabin we stayed in had air conditioning, fridge, microwave, tv, bathroom with shower and comfortable bed. They have a mini golf coarse, table tennis, pool table, foos ball and a rec room with big screen tv and plenty of board games. Plus they have a store for supplies and on site laundry. My wife and I had a great time and will definitely stay there again. read more

My father in law worked for this KOA franchise in Kingman for 21 and a half years. Out of those 21 and a half years he only missed 6 days of work, and he was a grounds keeper working in a wheel chair. Even in a wheel chair and being in his 70's, he still worked as hard as he could to ensure the KOA looks presentable to the campers. He is an Army Vet, and a disabled firefighter. He just recently retired from the KOA in Kingman and the day ended just like anyother day. He went home no recognition, no thank you for working hard for us, it was just heres your last check. I want to let everyone know how this franchise recognizes their employees. This is to exclude the current site managers. read more

I really hate to give the impression that my reviews are negative and spiteful. We booked this spot on a little Rv trip we were taking to warmer climes. Having stayed at other KOA campgrounds we were pretty confident that the extra 'ducats' we would be spending would be worth it. (Roughly twice the price of comps.) When we pulled in, after a long days drive, to a muddy, puddle ridden park, we were pretty disappointed. It was about 4:30, late for us, and we were bushed. After a reasonable check in period we were told to wait for their maintenance man who would lead us to our spot. Probably the best part of the whole park was this man, friendly, helpful and amiable. All that made a big difference when the site he lead us to was a mud bog, with large puddles of standing water. We immediately voiced our disappointment with the site and asked for a different spot. He took charge and was able to secure a spot that was packed mud, no standing water. Big improvement. (How about you invest a little for gravel and maybe drainage?? ) All this took some time. Having been on the road for days and knowing about our previous stays w/ Koa's (until now, spot on) we were floored when we learned of their hours of service with laundry and pool hours. After check in rigamarole we walked over with a load of laundry, 5:15, and were told by front desk woman, they closed and locked laundry at 6! Sun set at 6:20 those days. Very disappointed. Ok, let's regroup, hit the "Heated pool" and hot tub after a quick snack in the RV and chill out. Pool is a plastic, leaf covered disaster and the hot tub, lukewarm. Closes At Eight! What are we, six years old? So many things could and should have been handled better. I can't give this place more than two stars, very disappointed. read more

My family was there my for my son's BMX Gold Cup Series. We stayed 2 nights. We traveled with 6 other families from our Vegas team and all stayed 2 nights. My family parked in space 114, across from the mini golf holes and play ground. On Friday night, after unloading and setting up camp, the kids from the team met up for a few minutes around 9:30pm and checked out the mini golf area (5 kids total). The lady in 112 addressed the kids and I, saying there were trench's with exposed pipes in site 111 and to not play around that area (which the kids weren't). She wasn't worried about the kids getting hurt as she was afraid they'd bust a pipe. I assured her the kids will definitely stay away from that area. And they did. One of our teams kids, accidentally hit a ladies trailer with a thin glow stick and profusely apologized the minute it happened. the boy immediately told us what happened and us parents apologized again. Later that night, the host lady, again came out and expressed her displeasure of our team group outside talking and that the "quiet hour" had passed, which is 10pm. None of our team members or kids were loud by any means. I'm very strict on behavior. We did not realize the time and apologized and went back to our sites for the night. Saturday night, after racing all day, the kids were blowing off steam by playing catch right by the golf course, and directly in front of our site. Each parent could see each kid. At 9:15, the "host" from 112, decided to complain about the kids again. None were rowdy, none were screaming, and they were all playing very well and nicely together. Host lady was extremely rude, then proceeded to tell us that it was quiet time and that she was getting complaints. I kindly reminded the host lady that quiet time is 10pm, per their rules, and that the kids were doing absolutely no harm. She then proceeded to call the koa manager, whom then spoke with my husband. My husband kindly explained that the kids were being good, playing catch with a nerf ball, and that the host was harassing us and our children. My husband politely stated that we were within their quiet time policy and she agreed. Our whole team has great and well behaved kids, and us parents are very respectful and responsible! All the KOAs we've been to have been kid friendly and we've never had a problem when traveling. If retirees want a quiet place, then I suggest they stay awake from a kid friendly place and away from the koa kid parks! Apparently the Kingman Koa is NOT kid friendly, and we have expressed our displeasure with USABmx organization about not returning to Kingman for a regional event. read more

PERFECT campground if you are traveling with toddlers or 4 legged kids. The small fenced playground is great for burning that car ride energy off and it's fenced!! So much easier on mom & dad after a long day of travel. Cute dog park with obstacle course and a putt putt course. RV areas were clean and well laid out. Nice shrub privacy fencing in between a lot of sites. Cabin area look very nice too. We will be back in our future road trips. read more

This is a great place to get hosed. $70 a night for a cramped noisy spot surrounded by poisoness Oleander bushes 8' high. There is a Super 8 motel right down the street with of course all the amenities for $39.99 a night but KOA knows you can't stay there because you've no place to park you rig. What a ripoff this place is. I'd stay in the Walmart parking lot before giving these bandits $70. read more

We are on our way to the Grand Canyon and needed a place to chill for a couple days. This KOA is great and is in a super location. Right near stores and restaurants. I can't imagine vacationing here, but this is the place to be if in the area. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The grounds are very neat. read more

This is the best KOA around! The people are so helpful who work there! They keep a beautiful clean place as well! The bathrooms/showers are clean and the grounds! Carol is a very sweet gal who gives you info about Kingman that is very useful! The wildlife is constantly heard! I would recommend this KOA to everyone! We stayed in a cabin and Carol told us about the museum down town, Mark took us around the park and explained everything, Carol's Dad kept the front of our cabin weed free and told us about the best car wash in town and all of the rest of the employee's were very professional. We stayed here for 3 months while working in the local area. Convenient location to town and was very quiet. Our site was very nice. We didn't use the showers or pool, but the laundry facilities were more than adequate for our needs. What really makes this place great are the people! We ended up getting towed here after our RV broke down and stayed for two weeks while we got our lives together (we were full-timing). Easy driving distance to Route 66 attractions and dining. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most sites are shaded, but longer sites for big motorhomes are very narrow. Beautiful flowering shrubbery help block out neighborhood and road traffic. Hot tub was broken but pool was nice. Only issue is one I have with many campgrounds - they lock down laundry at 9 p.m. with 7:30 p.m. deadline for starting last load, but at least that's better than some other places. Prefer campgrounds where laundry facilities are available at any time (I am camping because I want to see the tourist attractions during the day, so laundry needs to done at night). Clean, well-maintained gravel roads and sites, with full electric, water, and sewer hookups. We would definitely stay here again. read more

Friendly welcoming staff, who worked really hard to make you happy! asking questions, so they could find the best site for me. And there is lots to do. They have two game room's, 18 hole mini golf (so) fun, seasonal pool, Hot Tub open all the time (nice in the winter), horseshoe pit.....A small train ride for the little one's, to laugh and ride. Nice CLEAN Restrooms, they clean daily! Then a very nice man takes you to your site and helps in all the hookup's.They have cable tv on the site, WIFI (good for surfing but no streaming or downloading), a fenced in dog walk and play ground for little kiddos, and propane on site. This KOA is clean and quiet. They have family bathrooms and cute cabins for a great price. We stayed in a cabin and loved it. It is a good place to just get away from the city. Most staff is very friend. The only thing I didn't appreciate was one of the staff cleaning ladies would talk about me as I would walk by- I thought it was very unprofessional. We keep to ourselves so I'm not quite sure what was so interesting about me. Aside from that a great stay. We checked out Oatman, Laughlin, etc. I'd stay here again if we ever pass through again, which I'm sure we will. read more

I don't enjoy giving this place two stars because it was definitely not the fault of the campground itself. The campgrounds are set up well, it's nice there, they have good showers, lovely people working in the gift shop, and amazing water with lemon and orange slices in it. I give it two stars because of the group of loud people who were around the campfire all night. I wear earplugs when I sleep and they were so loud that I could still hear them. I was gettin' homicidal. It was the worst camping experience of our trip. Again, not because of the campground, but the people. It seemed to be a magnet for a younger, "party" crowd mentality who have no consideration for other people. It was pretty lame. Kudos to the lady working in the gift shop, though. read more
