I thought it'd be a straightforward session without the need for exercises or extra manual therapy. But surprise, surprise! I ended up with a bill of $643 for just 55 minutes of care. That's on par with what you'd pay attorneys and specialized doctors! I get that all services there have their billing codes, but the final cost was way too high for such a short one-time visit. Plus, there was only one other patient there, and two technicians--definitely not a busy day. Foothills philosophy doesn't include one on one care. I didn't know that when I went. It would've made a huge difference if they shifted to a more personalized approach, especially with low patient-to-tech ratio. Instead, I found myself left to do my exercises solo while the staff chatted and socialized, and tossed around an exercise ball. Talk about a lack of focus on patient care! Overall, I was really let down by what I thought would be a more specialized physical therapy experience. I walked away feeling like I didn't gain any real help for my shoulder, just a bill resulting in tremendous disbelief! Based on my visit, I can't recommend this facility for physical therapy. Unfortunately, from my experience, zero stars would be a better reflection of my recommendation, but one is all I can give. I would attach my bill, but I am afraid of the detail it would show #Disappointed #NotRecommended

Zero privacy in the waiting room. I do like the therapist here , But they don't clean the equipment after every use so your touching dirty equipment that someone else just used. I continue to come here only because I don't want to wait to find another place of therapy. But they do need to work on the privacy issue and the hygiene issue.

I spent months unsure of what to do about a shoulder injury before a friend recommended Spooner and…read moreI finally scheduled an appointment. After a lot of negative experiences with medical offices, Spooner was a huge breath of fresh air! Literally every person on the team from the front desk to the therapists themselves are friendly and helpful. I worked with PT Julia and tech Chris, and they were both phenomenal - true experts in what they do. I also met with PT Alix a few times, and she's equally amazing. I went in afraid I was going to spend a lot of time and money only to be told I needed surgery. Instead I walked out three months later with a shoulder that is almost entirely healed, and an easy-to-follow program to do at home. I still can't get over what a pleasant experience this was from start to finish. They have truly set the bar for all other providers I see in the future. A few things that set Spooner apart from other medical offices I've been to: 1. They offer a free consultation. If you're not sure physical therapy can help you, go in for a consultation! You'll get an honest answer. 2. They did not pressure me to schedule excessive or unnecessary appointments. I went in thinking I'd need to go 2-3 times a week and was pleasantly surprised that they recommended once a week, and then eventually every two weeks. 3. The billing is transparent and honest. My insurance wouldn't give them a price ahead of time, so Spooner had me pay an estimate based on what other clients with my insurance paid. When my claims were processed and their estimate was slightly higher than my contracted rate, they immediately applied all of the credit from my overpayments. I didn't even have to ask for it - I just walked into my appointment, greeted by the pleasant news that I didn't need to pay that day because I had credit on my account! 4. There were never any surprise charges or codes added on to my appointment. When Julia suggested we try dry needling (highly recommend btw), she made it clear there was no additional fee, and that was accurate information. 5. I feel very set up for success doing exercises at home. They have a really helpful app with my personalized program in it that includes videos of how to do the exercises, and they also gave me printed versions as well. (If you want physical therapy to be successful, you MUST do the exercises at home!) I could go on and on about how great Julia and the Spooner team are. I really can't recommend this practice highly enough.

The staff is friendly and upbeat and I felt comfortable from the moment I first walked in. The desk crew is very accommodating, even after I've had to cancel and rearrange appointment schedules more than once. My therapists have carefully evaluated my needs and provided realistic expectations regarding progress. I have exercises to do at home and the assistants monitoring my program are helpful and encouraging while trained to insist on "just two more". Julie has provided me with great suggestions, information and treatment suggestions. They are the best!

Spoke to 3 associates prior to the visit who gave me not an estimate but an exact figure of what i owed after checking with my insurance. Now, they have charged me $100 more than what they said and said that i signed the papers of responsibility. Excuse me, but this is fraud billing. The therapists might be good but there entire staff is only interested in booking you up for more appointments and billing. Was lied to from start to finish and someone needs to investigate this.

With being lso very cautious and particular about sanitizing every item before and after he hands them to you, puts your mind at ease, so you can focus on what needs to be done, without having to worry. This incredible therapist even does a follow up call, a bit after finishing up therapy with him, to see how you are doing and if you need anything. He really genuinely cares about getting you better, and in a timely matter, so that you feel better and can get back to loving your life! Small place, not much seating in the waiting area. But there is a little covered table with seating just outside if you prefer to waiting outdoors. If not, there are plenty of dining options within walking distance of a couple mins.

The staff is amazing, not just top notch, but extraordinary. They are all caring and so personable. It's a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Addy is also amazing, easy to talk to and down to earth. As for my results, they have been great and I am maybe half way through my program. I went from limited mobility to being able to do the things I love: from cycling to everyday errands and chores. I'm so grateful to have found this place and the investment has already been above and beyond the cost, to be pain free and energized. I would recommend anyone make the investment: cost and time. I was honestly pretty apprehensive when I first walked into AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic…read moreDesert Ridge. After having major back surgery years ago, my spine has been retaliating in every way possible -- chronic pain, major scoliosis, and slipped vertebrae that have been getting worse lately. I've been going to weekly chiropractic adjustments at different places for years and even completed several months of physical therapy last summer that was prescribed by my orthopedic surgeon. Lately, nothing seemed to be making a real difference in helping me sleep without pain, or be able to sit for more than a few minutes. And I had pretty much given up hope that I could actually get better or see any meaningful correction in my spine. From my very first visit, the team at AFC Desert Ridge made me feel heard and genuinely cared for. My chiropractor took the time to listen to my full history, reviewed my imaging, and created a thoughtful, personalized plan instead of just giving me the same generic adjustments I'd had everywhere else. For the first time in years, I'm actually starting to feel hope again. My pain levels have noticeably decreased, my posture is improving, and I'm already seeing small but encouraging changes in the alignment of my scoliosis and slipped vertebrae that is causing pain to shoot down one leg. The staff is friendly, professional, and truly invested in helping patients heal. The office is clean, modern, and welcoming -- it's a place where you actually look forward to your appointments. If you've had back surgery like I have and feel like you're out of options, I highly recommend giving AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic Desert Ridge a chance. They've given me something I haven't had in a long time: real hope that I can get better. Thank you to the entire team -- especially my chiropractor -- for restoring my confidence that improvement is still possible!
