Finally found some good sushi in the area!! They have tons of options and SO affordable. Two rolls and a salad or soup for less than $20?! Absolutely. I have gotten takeout twice since discovering this place and it is fresh, good flavor, and delicious. I cannot wait to dine in and try the hibachi as well

We came here almost two weeks ago to celebrate a birthday and it was a nice experience overall. We had hibachi and they have one room that's set up for hibachi and the other is set up for sushi. Our chef was fun and entertaining and he cooked our steak perfectly. The flavor was very good on the rice, vegetables, steak, and shrimp, and it was really nice to get a small side of noodles with the meal. Service was very good overall too and our waitress was attentive. Drinks were tasty and my wife enjoyed her lemon drop martini while I had a Kirin. It was a nice meal overall and we'd come back again!

Hard to figure it out during the day if it's open! Good deals for lunch, only time I have stopped by. The service is not bad, however the tables are all sticky, have checked multiple times. The rolls are fresh and they can acomoda-te for your taste. Have been here several times and enjoy the miso soup and wakame salad. The lunch specials are good idea specially the bento box. I have had them and every time was a good choice. Looking forward to come back here

A true hidden gem tucked away in an assuming plaza in Madison (located next to Longhorn steakhouse)! I've been here several times now, a couple times before their expansion and a couple after. While I can't give a review on the hibachi side- I have nothing but good things to say about their sushi! A friend introduced me to this spot pre pandemic and I have been hooked ever since. You will not find a spot that offers a better deal while also maintaining the quality of food! At least I personally haven't. Is this the absolute best sushi? Hard to say as ultimately we are landlocked here in Nashville, but none the less there's still good and bad sushi to be had. I prefer only the good kind but to each their own. Arigato has the good stuff when you combine the price point, taste and quality. Arigato offers an impressive variety of really creative rolls. You can also see pics on their walls which is very helpful visually speaking. I think this spot is particularly good for beginners as there are plenty of rolls that are not raw yet still has lots of good raw options. I personally like both so I appreciate their offers. Moreover, Arigato is the only menu I have come across offering a choice in the rolls you want for your sushi combo meal! Meaning you have a list of rolls to choose from for a certain price point. I.Love.This. sooo much! Most sushi places will offer a combo but on their terms, such as a California with either philly, spicy tuna/salmon or alaksan roll - for example. For me I like picking from their Arigato special sushi menu- either two or three rolls for under $25 (a steal!) The price point honestly can't be beat when you choose one of these combos. A la carte, the rolls are similar to any other place you might find sushi. The deal really lies within these combos. Beyond sushi, I can tell some of their other hibachi or bento combos are also decently priced as well. Lastly, the service has always been pleasant here. All the ladies are alway kind and attentive. No complaints here. Also, it's never been too bad of a wait time either. I can't wait to go back. Don't wait. Bring your fellow sushi loving friends/ lovers/ family. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered an orange blossom roll, a shrimp tempura roll and a California roll. Everything was decent, but in the menu it states the orange blossom roll comes with eel sauce and massago, but it didn't. It also states the California comes with massago and it didn't. It was very disappointing to not get what I was expecting.

I have had the pleasure of eating here at Arigato for more than 10 years and every visit has been very good. Their sushi is delightful and the Ramen is the best in middle Tennessee. I especially love their spicy seafood Ramen which has never disappointed! My wife's favorite is the spicy chicken Ramen, every bowl runneth over and is way more than enough to satisfy. we always have leftovers to take home.

This restaurant is always a favorite. The first time I ever went my best friend got choked because of her throat closing from acid reflux and the chef gave her the Heimlich maneuver . They are always kind and the restaurant is always clean. Today I decided I wanted chicken fried rice, fried soft shell crab & crab and cream cheese croquettes. The least favorite thing to me was the crab and cream cheese croquettes, I thought they'd be more similar to rangoons from Chinese restaurants and they weren't sweet like them. The fried rice wasn't the best I've had but it was still tasty and a big portion. The star of the night was the soft shell crab, it was light and crispy and the sauce paired well with it. Would always recommend here.

Red eye roll, deep fried Philadelphia roll and chicken fried rice.

The place is delicious. It's hidden in a shopping center in the Rivergate area. Inside it's small but we didn't have a wait. Parking is plenty. We sat at a table when you first walked in and it was very cold every time the door opened because it's not a large restaurant. I ordered a red eye roll and a deep fried Philadelphia roll and they were both so good. You can choose 2 rolls with soup and salad for $17.99 which is a good deal. My friend and I also shared chicken fried rice which was SO good. They give you plenty of food too.

A pic of their Ramen menu, I took several, this was the best pic.

It rivals the high-end sushi restaurants in downtown Nashville, and in many ways, it beats them. The fish is consistently exceptionally fresh, the presentation is beautiful, and the restaurant is spotless every time. The staff is warm, attentive, and efficient -- food comes out quickly whether you're enjoying a sit-down dinner or stopping in on a tight schedule. Must-tries: * Avocado Bomb -- unique, stunning, and packed with flavor. * Tuna Lover Roll -- pro tip: ask for the crispy fried scallions (not listed anymore, but they'll add them if you ask -- and it takes the roll to the next level!). * Yellowtail Hamachi -- fresh, clean, and melt-in-your-mouth perfect. They also have fantastic lunch bento boxes -- ideal if you want a little bit of everything. I knew I wanted something a little more elevated than fast food but nothing overly fancy (for which you should always do dine in). After striking out with my first choice, I came across Maru. I didn't know if it was related to the other Maru restaurants found around Middle Tennessee. I assumed it was (bad assumption? I'm asking) and, led by my good experience at Maru in East End, I made my way to Maru Iyagi.* Hoofing it, I took notice of how inviting the shopping center where the restaurant is located is. It was a reminder that Hendersonville has money (said in my best Quinta-before-*she*-had-money voice). Because of all the flim flammery involved in me looking for a restaurant, I ordered later than I'd planned. This was a mistake. Food workers don't like last minute orders. I get it. I was once one. I didn't like them. I walked in to a mostly empty dining room and bothered service. I get it. Not wanting to be (more of) a burden, I opted for fried rice rather than being so involved as to order sushi. I added shrimp (for protein) to my rice for an extra $3. I walked in, approached the hostess, asked for my order, was led to the bar area, got my food very quickly after that (ruh roh, Shaggy), thanked everyone profusely, and walked back to my hotel. The rice was... okay. Granted, it's fried rice and not a complicated order but I was a bit taken aback by how quickly it was ready. My $3 shrimp were small and hard to come by. This was not a meal made with love. Again, I get it. I've been there. Noted. If there's a next time, I'll be sure to get my order in early. The majority of customers seem to be fans. *Ichi.

This is a no-frills, smaller restaurant inside a strip of stores in a questionable-looking area of town. As I parked the car, I thought twice about actually going in, but based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to give it a try. It was clean inside, and, as I mentioned, the service and staff were 5-star! My food was where it went wrong for me. I started with the summer rolls (the ones in rice paper); they serve sushi and Thai food here. I have been craving summer rolls; I love the freshness of the mint and herbs, combined with crunchy peanuts and peanut sauce. However, that fell short for me here. The peanut sauce was reddish and tasted more like ketchup, so that was a letdown. No little peanuts anywhere in the sauce or on the plate. It was jam-packed with iceberg lettuce, which you would typically put on a Taco, so it wasn't very fresh-tasting, and it contained the tiniest piece of shrimp I've ever seen inside. Following my gut, I decided not to order my usual sushi selection, which is always raw, unfried, and unsauced. However, I decided to play it safe, so I opted for a Mexican roll instead. I asked for no eel sauce, but I should have also specified that I wanted spicy mayo on the side. It covered my roll, and I had to use a napkin to remove what I could. This is usually a roll that is around $6 to $10, but for some reason, they were charging $14. They made the rolls bigger, but not by filling them with more shrimp, avocado, etc.; instead, they added more rice. This may be someone's cup of tea, but it wasn't mine, and I won't be back, but wish them the best!
