You feel special just being in this space. The experience is heightened by outstanding service. I caring here twice in the past few months to buy gifts for my gal pals. They carry a line of iPhone cases called Bandelorios, that snuggly hold your phone in a crossbody case that has a snap closure pocket on the back for a credit card, cash or driver's license. The crossbody strap can be plain or embellished with studs, and other decorative hardware. I have one myself and it is a great way to not have to hand hold your phone. So with my two gift purchases, the sales attendants expertly wrapped and gift bowed the packages and placed them in very nice gift bag shopping bags- at no cost. This was a time saver for me...yeah I had to wait while they wrapped the gifts, but they brought me champagne while I sat and browsed the shop...you need to treat yourself while you are treating your friends!

My son's starting school in a few days so he needed shoes. I needed some new tennis shoes too so I got some as well. I love shoes so why not? I haven't been buying them as much lately. I also love purses but we'll talk about that another day. The best part of Rack Room shoes is that it's buy one, get one pair of shoes half price on most shoes. My son's shoes were $65 and mine ended up being $32.50. If you sign up for their rewards, you get $10 off your purchase during your birthday month. You also get $15 off after you spend a certain amount. I thought both of these perks were pretty neat. They have a wide variety of shoes for all ages. They have all kinds of brands like Nike, Puma, Sketchers, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be returning...most likely during my birthday month.

The manager was pushy, and the sales associate basically gave up on me once she realized that I wasn't going to buy anything that day. I felt so overwhelmed and disappointed that I decided to wait another month or two to start looking again. About a month later, I saw a dress that Ella Blu posted on their Instagram. Between hearing my coworker's amazing experience at Ella Blu, falling in love with the dress on Instagram, AND the trunk show discount, I decided to stop by an hour before closing ON A FRIDAY to just try the dress on. Catherine was my sales associate, and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter person to help me out. She asked about our wedding and really listened to what I wanted. The showroom was beautiful, and the dressing rooms were very large and pretty! The Instagram dress wasn't for me, but the second dress they brought in was AMAZING and I was immediately sold. I finally felt like I was in a fairy tale. Since my mom wasn't with me that day, I decided to still purchase the dress and take her to "visit the dress" the next day. Catherine was such a sweetheart with my mom. My dress buying experience was totally different than I imagined that it would be, but it was WAY less stressful this way and I bought something that I really LOVED.

Called TWICE to confirm that I could bring in my dress (special ordered from…read morean overseas designer) to try on accessories to match and was told both times it would be perfectly okay, and that is would be PREFERABLE to bring it in to find the best match (they told me they confirmed with a manager). So, I booked the appointment. However, once I got there I was met by a very rude older brunette who said that I should have been told this wasn't allowed, but she went and talked to her manager and came back to say that I could, but I was not allowed to step out of the dressing room - if I had known this, I would never had booked. Then, she proceeded to be very rude the entire time and made me very uncomfortable. Finally, my party and I got fed up and just left. If you want good quality designer gowns AND good service, please, go out of town to a real high quality boutique. This was not it.

Primark at Cielo Vista Mall - First Impressions…read more I hadn't stepped into Cielo Vista in ages, but curiosity got the better of me when I saw all the ads for Primark, one of the mall's newest (and biggest) stores. It's tucked upstairs in the corner with its own bright, welcoming entrance, and honestly, it feels like a cross between H&M and Old Navy. What Stood Out The store is huge with wide aisles and tons of associates ready to help. They carry everything--clothes for men, women, kids, bras, beauty products, shoes, home goods, even luggage. Prices are undeniably cheap. I snagged a pair of pants for $10 and a jacket for $20. Not the best quality, but perfect for refreshing basics or quick trends. Shopping Experience The checkout system was... interesting. You pick between regular or self-checkout, and while they charge for bags, there are free paper ones hidden at the bottom if you look closely. On the way out, you scan your receipt at a gate before leaving. Very different setup compared to other retailers. Overall Vibe Primark is fast fashion through and through. If you need affordable, on-trend clothing in a pinch, it delivers. But if you care about longevity or sustainability, you may find the quality lacking. Personally, I don't usually shop fast fashion because of how quickly it ends up in landfills--I prefer secondhand--but I wanted to check it out. Would I go back? Maybe if I needed a quick, budget-friendly piece. But for me, it felt a lot like items I could just order online from Amazon. Still, for El Paso shoppers who love variety at low prices, this store is going to be a hit.

I wanted a quick photo! We drove over early in the morning, before most of the shops even opened. This meant less people walking around and less cars coming in and out of the parking lot. To get a good photo of the entire wall, you have to step back and into the car path of travel. It's a mural, it was a nice photo op. Nothing really bad to say.
