If you get acrylics, ask for them to be a bit thicker!! I was exited to come to this place after reading many good reviews and seeing their inexpensive prices online. I walk in and the workers are nice and I wait for acrylics. I wanted a simple French, and turns out the $5 French online actually is a baseline, and the different "types" go up to 20+ dollars. I've come here multiple times now, and every time I am pleased with my nails! I will say, they are a litttttle pricey (in my opinion), however... they do a great job, it feels clean and sanitized. My engagement photos are tomorrow and this was my first time trying this salon and boy, reviews didn't lie. I tried going to two different salons before going here but nobody was available. First, nobody welcomed me when I came in for the first few minutes. I casually waited for someone to approach and ask what services I'd like. When someone did come around, I asked for fills and a pedicure. She asked me what kind of fills, to which I replied; acrylic with paint on top. I was not aware of any other kind of fills than that. She advised me to pick a color and sat me in a pedi chair. My pedi and fills happened at the same time- which I normally like. Unfortunately, the women doing my hands&feet were INCREDIBLY ROUGH. I'm not a super sensitive person by any means and have a very high pain tolerance. Then my techs started having an attitude when I asked if they could try getting more color off my big toe. This was deep red (wine) colored polish I already had on my hands and feet. They attempted to convince me the tic tac sized dark red spot was blood. I was hanging on by a thread by this point, so I removed all the things I had on my lap and pulled my foot all the way up to dang near my chest and showed them that the color was coming off when I scratched it. Then they drilled the color off. The woman that was doing my hands would jerk my hands closer to her Every. Single. Time. I gave her my hands. This was quickly becoming very annoying and painful for my nails. The "message" was really really short.... Like I'm talking less than 5 minutes.... I was shook and looking around like there's no way she's putting my foot in the water to wash off the goopy scrub already?!? Well she did. I had a millisecond of relief when she put a giant dollop of lotion on my legs. This message was slightly longer but again I was left in disbelief when it was done. The part that bugged me the most was I spent the majority of my time at this salon jumping out of my skin with small and very frequent pings of pain on both my hands and my feet. I get it, sometimes it happens; but dang sure not the majority of the time. Towards the end of my visit, the tech LAUGHED AT ME when I winced in pain while she was working on my toes. I let that slide today. This pedicure was the basic and listed for $40.00. Fills were listed as $50.00. My total after everything was said and done was $118.00.... 3% for card transactions but that's still incredibly high BEFORE TIP. I still have them $5.00 each in cash even though my fingers and toes were sore and I was frustrated. The only reason I did that was because I asked for my nails to be a little bit thicker ((I know- nobody likes them thick but unfortunately they break when I'm at work (I'm a blue collar)). I felt that was fair for what I got plus the total cost. There was polish all over my fingers and toes that I had to pick off when I got into the car after the appointment. I've been getting my fills on my nails for the last 10 years. This was the worst experience I've ever had. Please save your time and money and go somewhere the techs at least show you basic human decency. All I can say is I hope the techs can find some kindness in their hearts for new and existing customers. read more

Worst pedicure and manicure I've ever had. She cut my toenails crooked & left the edges super sharp. For my manicure, they did not even soak my nails or push my cuticles back or offer to cut them. She didn't moisturize my hands or shape my nails. There is polish on my fingers around my nail and they need a second coat. She then left me in the chair for 15 minutes, didn't check on me once and had to pull my own toe dividers out :( Not coming here again. read more

They had two artist doing our nails and toes at the same time so we didn't have to take the time to do one then the other which I love. This is one of the worst nail shop that I have ever been to. I stopped by last year and they pretended to not understand English but that was a lie after looking around looking at all the white people so I left. It's a new year so I just happened to be passing through again and stopped to get a charm on two nails and they said no because they couldn't match the polish which was clear. I asked another tek if she could do it and she and the manager went back and forth talking to each other in there language and decided NO. When I asked why the tek said because the manger said so. I politely walked out but decided to go back and asked why? I got nothing but stuttering and we can't do. Let me just say I was the only person of color and they wanted nothing to do with me. I really don't recommend this salon unless you are needing last minute nails. I recently had a full set of dip powder nails done.. The nail tech kept mentioning how crooked my nails were and asked if I hold my pencil weird because of this. Also mentioned how wide my nail beds were. Repeatedly. This same nail tech was bashing on other paying costumers to me. And was not very quiet about it. The nails she did are lumpy,not the same size or shape, and are crooked, NOT my fingers. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon to get my chipped nail fixed- I was expecting a wait- but they helped me right away. They fixed my cracked nail and prevented a full break off (I'm on vacation and just had them done before I left). AVOID THIS PLACE!! I showed Kim what I wanted and she said she can only do that if it's gel polish.. (mind you I came to Arias last minute) when I had a similar nail art before that was used with REGULAR POLISH. Kim proceeded to tell me that with the gel and design it would be $75. So I said okay I'll just do pink in regular polish without the design. Because I wasn't going to fall into their tricks. they always do this to people just to get more money. Lol but anyways Kim rushed to do my nails because she wasn't able to scam me out of my money. So anyways she had hella attitude she didn't give time for the regular polish to dry so my nails are messed up. When I went to pay for my full set and regular polish my total came out to $35... so you are telling me it cost an extra $40 to get gel polish and a simple design???? But every time I went to get acrylics, they always go too far with the nail file and end up filing the skin off right next to my nail. I have frequented this salon numerous times and received excellent care. Unfortunately , the last two visits were less than stellar. I always get a manicure and pedicure with gel polish. The first few times the polish lasted three weeks. The last two visits the polish peeled off of my nails within a few days. The first time I let it go, the second time I went back for a redo and based on the giggles and talk among the nail techs I felt like they were talking among themselves in their language about me coming back. Two employees were sitting and looking at their telephones, no one was waiting and I sat there for a good bit and no one ever ofered to help me. Once I got up to leave , one of the employees did say I could take a seat at one of the stations, but at this point I couldnt wait any longer. A dremil was used to take off polish on my nails. Absolutely disgusting workplace, towels were filthy, they used, used tools on my pedicure. I saw the guy grab them from multiple work stations. They left dirt under my nails and toe nails. They tacked on money per toe for absolutely nothing that was done. I had a cat eye done on two toes and got charged 75$. They look like garbage and they didn't clean under my toes! So now I have to go somewhere decent and get all this redone. NEVER NEVER NEVER GO HERE. IF YOU HAVE ANY STANDARDS NEVER GO HERE. They kept changing the prices. Girl who did my nails was very rude, took no pride in her appearance, very sloppily dressed. And did a horrible job. My "manicure" lasted less than 10 minutes and tried to charge me 30$ for literally nothing. Who takes a dremil to polish? Not gell, just regular polish. Pedicure was less than mediocre. Didn't clean nailbeds didn't use the colors I asked for because he said "this will look better" I have never had a worse experience. Especially for the price. I don't mind making for quality, but 75$ for this is just absolut nonsense. Chipped paint, on top of old paint, new paint all over sides of toes for 75$!! Never waste your money here. I'm just going to jump right in. I asked for a female to do my toes over the phone, when I got there, it was only a male available, even tho I made an appointment with a specific request. I decided to let him do my pedi because I didn't want to start a ruckus. This was thee most horrible pedicure I've ever had. I actually wanted the most expensive pedi they had, but I decided not to say anything throughout my time to see how service would be. He didn't ask me what kind of pedi I wanted so they ended up losing money, even though I clearly lost more by going to this salon. My paint job was trash and one toe got messed up while walking to the table for my nails... When I asked Kim to fix it she got made and put a whole different color on my baby toe than the other 9. The color is called Bubble Bath. I am very familiar with OPI polish and the fact that they changed the formula a while back to make it more pink....as opposed to the original formula which was more tan. They had both batches and she decided to put the pinker shade on me even though it clearly wasn't the right shade. I told Kim they didn't match and she copped another attitude and barely wiped it off only to go snatch the other color off the shelf and yell "THEY SAME COLOR". When I told her about the formula change she said she knew....... Well then why on earth are you yelling that they are the same color? They just have the same name...and you have both Genius! After all that Kim did my fill with an attitude and talked to her friends in a different language as they totally looked obvious talking about their customers. They don't even try to be discrete. They are messy and unprofessional. I'd rather spend more in gas and pay more for service and go elsewhere. This nail shop is trash. If I could give negative Stars I would. As for my 85 dollar tab...they should have paid me for wasting my time. Next time if I'm in a rush and they are the only option. I'll get my child to paint them...she can do a better job than this place ever could. NEVER GOING BACK!!!! read more

I have been here several times and have never had the problems stated in other reviews. They actually do a better job then any other place I've been to. And I've been to a few on the Gulf Coast. They are always polite and ask me if I'm satisfied before moving onto the next step. ( I.e. are your toenails short enough, is the water too hot etc) they are very clean and from what I could see very sanitary. Opened a new package of tools at the station, wore gloves, masks, had some scrub and lotions prepared in plastic disposable containers also. This being said I only got a pedicure. So I cannot speak for the manicure side of the business. read more

(than most placed for the same services) ....I just moved here and it's convenient...Not again..... today I paid for a $55 Pedicure with all the extras....it was over within 20 minutes....He didn't even give me the standard Message with lotion....The people across from me when I sat down were still there when I got up (they were mid way though too)....Then they did my nails at the same time as my Pedicure...I do hate it when they do that....it wasn't busy....I paid and went to the Grocery store....I just kept looking at my nails...they were three different shapes, very uneven .... for $50. they need to look a little better...I struggled with the fact of going back in....I'v only done that once in 25 years ....but I did....not very nice to me....I show her my nails and all she said was " What shape you Want"?? well how about just one Shape and not Three? she just keep saying what you want what you want?????? For $192 I was expecting a bit more better service. My cousin and I went for pedicures and I also got a full set. My cuticles were left dry without any oil applied to them. We were never asked if we wanted anything to drink, pedicures were rushed and both of our feet are still rough on the bottom. read more
