I am extremely disappointed, frustrated, embarrassed, and highly irritated by the treatment I received here. Upon arrival, I filled out exactly what I wanted: a Harmony pedicure and a soak off with a new set, nothing fancy, just plain yellow polish. My pedicurist asked me 5 TIMES to get gel polish after I repeatedly said no. Once she realized I wasn't changing my mind, her entire attitude changed. She rolled her eyes, spoke about me in her language to a coworker, and from there everything went downhill. She became aggressive, changed the shape of my toenails without asking, and even refused to do the callus remover that comes with the Harmony pedicure. Then the nail tech who was supposed to do my full set asked me 3 additional times to just get a fill instead of the soak off I requested. By that point, I was beyond irritated. I was the ONLY Black person in the shop, and the difference in treatment between me and other customers was very obvious. I felt completely disrespected and unwelcome. My nails and feet both turned out terrible. They polished it so sloppy, didn't clean up the edge of my nails or nothing! I wasted $113 here. Little did they know, I recorded the entire experience and still have Google Translate transcripts of the comments being made. With 1.2M followers, I'm sure plenty of people would love to hear this story time along with the proof. First and LAST time here. read more

I think I've found my nail salon in TX. I ended up here on the Eve of Christmas Eve after stopping at the UPS store next door. Upon exiting I noticed the bright lights and Beautiful chandeliers inside Aria and having not had a pedi and mani since early October due to being extremely busy with work and moving. I stopped in and checked in on the device and chose a nice pedi service and mani. I was provided the color cards but I came in with a photo. I had Linda on my nails and Larry on my feet and what a combo. I am going to MANDATE the L&L special (my tagline) on my return. My feet felt like powder and my nails were done exactly like I asked. I mean the photo I brought Linda nailed it (see photos). I will return to ensure the service I received is consistent. read more

The worst experience! I have arthritis, the technicians we're both rough and unprofessional. They kept discussing my hands, which made me uncomfortable. I requested a French polish (pink & white), but instead they used red instead of pink. When I pointed this out,I was told "that's how they do it." I explained again that I wanted pink, not red - as clearly listed as an option on their form . There is a nail salon on every corner. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere. read more

Terrible customer service service!!! I sent $160 on my two daughters nails for gel manicure and pedicure's and the both chipped within 5 days. Literal one nail has polish left! The manager is rude and a liar, I called and they told us to come in and they would fix them. We drove all the way there and then they refused fix them instead they would give me 20% off to re-polish. The owner was there too, so not only is it being managed poorly, the owner does not care. I moved to the area last year and asked my hair stylist for a recommendation for a nail salon. Luckily for me, it was Aria, which is the closest nail bar to my house. I don't normally get my nails done, but my daughter does and she loves this place for mani/pedis. About 4 months ago I broke several of my nails working on a DIY Project and I had an event to go to, so I went to Aria to get my nails fixed. I explained what happened and that I wanted them to look uniform. They suggested a Dipping Powder with a few tips. I didn't really know what I wanted, so I said OK. It worked out great! Even though I usually have long natural nails, I like the Dip because I don't have to worry about chipped paint or broken nails. I've been going to Aria for a Dip every 3-4 weeks for months now and they do an awesome job! It's a beautiful salon and the workers know what they're doing. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. HORRIBLE customer service. Lady doing my manicure, stated she did not like doing short nails, that she preferred long nails. Kept digging her nails on my nail to the point where she cut me. Used the machine over it, and that's when I told her she was hurting me. She proceeded to say something under her breath. I made the "manager" aware of the situation and they stated there was nothing wrong. I showed the cut, and their response was "this is normal", and suggested I added Neosporin to the cut. The salon itself is nice. They were not super friendly but that's not my biggest problem. It's the quality of nails. I've been getting dipped nails done for over 7 years now. I know the process inside and out, as well as the fact that I'm a licensed cosmetologist. I'm new to the area and have been looking for a new nail salon. This is the second I've tried in the area. First, dipped nails can be soaked off. They should file the top layer of the dip ONLY to break the seal, and then soak. My tech at Aria FILED DOWN TO MY NATURAL NAIL. I kept pulling away because she made my nails SO hot and wouldn't stop and soak. She finally soaked when she got down and could see natural nail. soaked maybe 2 minutes and then drill/filed again. If she would have left me to soak 5-10 it would have slid right off at that point, no drilling necessary. There were spots of old dip left on my nails, and when I mentioned getting them off/soaking longer she said not necessary. Anyway, she then went on to apply... I have NEVER had someone do such a messy job with dip. I had it all around my cuticle and surrounding finger. I mentioned and she cleaned the 1 finger I pointed to, not the others, and at that point I just wanted to get out of there because she had hurt me so bad filing, shaping, etc. I won't ever go back here. It was the worst experience I've had in the over 7 years I've been getting dip nails done. Really sad because the salon space is beautiful. ***WARNING THIS IS A LONG RANT FOR MY LOCAL (Forney/Heath/Rockwall) LADIES THAT FREQUENT NAIL SALONS LIKE I DO*** Although my nails and pedicure turned out great, what i witnessed as far as customer service goes... was horrible. A black female customer walked into the same nail salon at the same time as i did. In fact, she was 5 steps ahead of me. for the purpose of this review, I mention race because it is relevant. I am a white female. I was sat down first, I was greeted at my chair first, and although i don't know her history or their experience dealing with her at this location (because this is not my normal place) I observed her calm demeanor, nothing about her expressed that she was trouble in any form or fashion. They sat her down a chair away from me, her pedicure was started while she scrolled through photos of nail designs and colors for her fingernail decision. I saw them ask her one time and she wasn't sure about the color yet. After the initial time they did not return to ask her again. Instead they stood in the corner and spoke another language while staring in her direction making it obvious they were talking about her but refusing to help her. She did not yell, she did not make a scene, she waited for service. The Asian male working the register walked up to her and pointed at his watch, he then said very rudely, "we close at 7," followed by something else regarding her not getting her fingernails done. She then stated calmly, "i know, i picked out a color, I'm waiting on them to return to help me." Long story short... no one returned, no one helped her after she asked 2-3 more times from several different employees. They all just turned their heads and ignored her. They finally told her they were refusing to provide her service. At this point it was not 7pm yet, and for as much time as they wasted going back and forth and ignoring her they could have provided her service. My nails were half way finished at this point, hers would have been as well. She told the lady doing her pedicure to stop, she took her tequila sunrise, (the only good thing they provided her) and left the salon without making a scene or a making payment for half a$$ service. I say allllllll of this to say, If they want to discriminate like this, they don't deserve your business or mine. I will not return. This was ridiculous, uncomfortable to witness, and certainly not how you run a business. I understand businesses have the right to refuse service, but dang... her & I walked in together. This was clearly racially motivated. She just needed 2 extra minutes to decide on a nail color, that's an extremely hard decision for us females! I went to get a set of acrylic nails and the place was very busy. I was told to sit and wait, and that they would be ready in 15 minutes. About 30 minutes after that a lady came to do my nails. She seemed very unhappy from the moment she sat down. As soon as asked to get my nails done acrylic she told me I should get dip I told her no several times before she finally did my acrylics. She was very rude the entire time I could here her bad mouthing me in another language. She was very tough with my hands and I pulled back a few times as she was twisting my bands in uncomfortable ways she got angry when this happened and proceeded to tell me I kept kicking her when I did not kick her even though she had her legs stretched underneath the table so I have straining not to. In the middle of her doing my set she started a conversation about the dip nails. She asked why I didn't like them and I said " I don't like the way they look" she said something under her breath and continued to be rude and rough with my hands and fingers. Pedicure was amazing with Minh . My dipp manicure on the other hand was not . I asked for a dip with manicure lady forgot to start my manicure ok forgiven whatever . I got my nails done on Wednesday by Friday night one was cracked . Today is Wednesday I have 5 nails cracked or chipped not to mention the white color turning yellow . I spent $175 for a mani pedi and it's not even going to last me a week ? I love Aria. I come here every three weeks to have my solar nails filled. Dip does not work well on my nail type and I am pretty particular about them. The salon is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Lynn is absolutely awesome and so nice. I also get pedicures frequently and have always been happy. This was my go to place but this past Sunday the nail tech I had let me sit for just under 30 minutes with my hands in acetone. At 15 minutes I begin looking at management looking uncomfortable. At 20 minutes I got up and walked over and asked where my nail tech was and asked for a new one who was wanting to do my nails. They said she was coming right out. At 25 minutes after I started removing the foils with the acetone off my fingers I had made it to the door to leave when my nail tech finally came out this is a nice clean nail bar I will add the nail techs name who did my nails, but I will probably not go back to this location even though it was my go to, and I would drive from Rockwall to get my nails done. read more

Came in one day with my girls to get their nails done and I've had many people recommend this establishment to us so we decide to get our nails done here. Upon arriving they did seat us at a pretty good time since I had a reservation time, but ever since sitting us down it went downhill from there. Not only were they not in sync as to who would be doing our nails they kept switching nail techs on us and were NOT helpful with our nail selections. One of them took probably an hour to get to one of my girls and didn't update us as to why or if they'd help us soon. Anyways, towards the end we had our tickets and ready to pay and out of no where I'm assuming the owner decided to last minute change the price on one of our final tickets with no explanation. Not only did I not like that it was so unprofessional they just changed it and to not make a scene we ended up paying what was changed on the ticket. Neither my daughter nor I was offered anything to drink, even though every other customer had been offered. The lady doing my nails was very rough with my cuticles, cutting me once and not even acknowledging that it happened. She was just not friendly. Now, three days later, two of my gel-manicured nails are peeling, and my cuticles are sore and peeling. I usually go to another salon in Rockwall, and I have never had any of these issues. these nails are bad. the middle two fingers are shorter than the others and they just look terrible. first my nail tech Danny made the thumbnail shorter, and when I pointed out that the thumbnail was shorter, he told me he would cut the other nails down and so I told him I do not want to cut the other nails down. I told him I wanted them long and they are not. I want that nail to be as long as the other ones and he tried to fight me on this. So we were already off to a bad start. I was literally crying telling them I don't want to spend 70 dollars on nails that look bad and then they tried to tell me that they weren't different lengths and I still had to cough up the 70 dollars. These nails are objectively bad. They basically bullied and gaslit me into paying for their shitty service. I had to pay $70 for nails that look shitty. save your money and your dignity. while i was there they offered to let me come in tomorrow to get them fixed, which is not what I wanted it was what my mom suggested and they agreed to that. the more i thought about it the less i wanted it and i simply wanted my money back because i'm literally going to another salon tomorrow to FIX THEIR MISTAKES. I asked for my money back and they said no. The last two times I've been here haven't been good. The first time I was there, the place was busy and the employees knew that our pedicures were going to be done soon so they proceeded to stand around our chair, akwardly staring at us until we finally felt pressured to leave. Yesterday I went in with my girlfriend. I checked on the paper that I wanted the $37 Tropical pedicure while my girlfriend checked that she wanted the $48 pedicure (the step above what I asked for). Halfway through my pedicure, the lady pointed to my girlfriend that was also mid pedicure and asked if I wanted "that". She was getting a calf massage so I assumed that is what she meant. Upon checking out, I see that I was charged $48 and not the $37 pedicure that I asked for. The lady at the front counter asked the lady that gave me my pedicure and she runs over yells to me "I ASKED IF YOU WANTED TO UPGRADE YOUR PEDICURE AND YOU SAID YES!!!". I didn't want to start an argument so I just paid the money for which she scammed me for and left. I won't be coming back and I recommend anyone that goes there to make sure that they don't scam you as well. read more
