The lady at the main counter was nice, greeting us on the way in and also on the way out....The store is a collection of many "booths" were each one has their own unique specialty like furniture, cookware, plates, music, dolls, jewelry, etc. My husband wanted to check out their vintage LP records so we spent a fair amount of time browsing around. Many of the different booths had specials like 30% off or 50% off...so depending on when you go, you might find an even bigger discount or bargain...

This last trip we wandered into Way Back When since it was the only one open early on a Sunday morning. This place really has a plethora of fun and antique items throughout both floors and the couple who own the place are very nice. We didnt even have to haggle over prices as she discounted our items on her own. Next time we're in town we will definitely stop back here...

I truly emphasized broken. I am disappointed with the parking because it sucks and it's cracked and awkward to get to. I didn't find much there but I took the allotted amount of clothes - even though the clothing is jammed into rows, especially pants. Plus, the store is filthy & smells!!! I was told the exact date I could come back, which was in 3 months. However, I didn't go back in 3 months because my husband & I haven't been well. I went back in 4 months & the person who checked me out was not very nice at all. In fact, she was downright rude. When we moved to this area back in June, everything we gave away: clothes, furniture - Everything! went to Provisions. Our mover, who is a very angry person who shouldn't be in the moving business- never gave us receipts for everything we gave away. I won't name the mover - someday they will have to come to terms with how they treat people. But, as far as I'm concerned I would never set foot in Provisions again.

I was encouraged to browse, told about the pieces in shop, and had an interesting conversation with one of the owners about his passion for his craft. Ponshop is owned by husband-and-wife artist duo Gabriel and Scarlett Pons (making the gallery's name that much cuter). Scarlett creates the unique ceramics on display: spouted bowls, blossom-shaped dishes, watering pitchers with what looks like Bob Marley's likeness stamped on the sides, decorative vases, and even hand puppets made from clay and fabric. Gabriel works in mixed-media, putting prints, photographs, and paint on wood, or designing one-of-a-kind skateboards. Along with showcasing their own art, the two feature the works of many other local artists from tee-shirts and jewelry, to plush toys, reusable gift "paper", sculpture, and even soaps. The art in Ponshop is provocative and avant-garde, but the whole place feels down-to-earth and welcoming. I really enjoyed poking around and purchased what I've since dubbed a "scarf-lace" since I'm not really sure *what* it is: a many-looped-and-knotted scarf/necklace made from soft jersey material in heather gray and carnation pink stripes. I've never seen anything like it, but out-of-the-ordinary and pleasantly perplexing seems to be the name of the game at Ponshop.
