June 18,2025 Argos recently changed Management so good time for a review. It's been one of my top picks to eat at so when I heard of the change was thinking uh oh. I had lunch there yesterday and dinner today. I was pleasantly surprised, the menu hasn't changed but the food/service has improved...how often has that happened lately? :) I think Argos has a good ambiance for the slightly more mature customer. I like how good staff is with elderly customers and they always try to meet their needs. Be gentle with the young waitresses, it's probably their first job and they always try their best but maybe a bit shy at first. The kitchen staff seem to have things well under control. No long waits or out of any items. In short, it's not a fancy high end restaurant rather a family diner that offers a delicious full course meal for the price of a Big Mac combo. read more

No bad place for pasta , nice service and fair prices , the place looks a little old but clean

I reordered pan fried potatoes an han n cheese omelette.. I got my food patois were dry an cold an the omelette was bacon sausage an the eggs were crusty around the edges cold like been sitting or overcooked. Service was horrible she was the only 1 working an it got busy she didn't bring us cutlery we had to ask an when I told her about the food she replied?!..what do u want?!..an I said idk basically just better service with good an service. She seemed like we were just a bother to her an she only took off my tea the cheapest drink on the menu, I thought that was rude after she asked what did I want?!..why even ask me if she had no intentions of hearing my concerns I didn't expect free bes just better service an food. Went there recently for breakfast. Potatoes were cold. Toast was warmed up bread with no butter. Over easy eggs were hard and cold. Worst breakfast ever. Service from 3 servers is less than before with one server. read more

Food was excellent - as always, and serving staff are always friendly, helpful with suggestions, patient and kind.

Not sure what happened to the reviews to this place, but this place is excellent for family. If you put stock in old reviews I'd take them maybe with a few grains of salt. Staff is new and ownership is new. Argos is one of my family's favourite places to meet up with family or friends. read more

This is our go to, eat out place for years, and the food is consistently good. Great family restaurant and gathering place for a group.

Argo's Family Restaurant has exceptional service and food. one of the best places to eat in Medicine Hat

Breakfast is all that I have experienced at Argo's. But having said that I have experienced it many times when travelling through or hunting in the Medicine Hat area. The atmosphere is pleasant. The restaurant and washrooms are clean and presentable. The service is very good and the food is good with fair portions. All in all I look forward to my breakfast experience at Argo's. The only detractor to the experience is the late time of opening in the morning. Argo's opens at 8:00 AM and that is at least an hour too late for my liking. But I still get there every chance I get...that should say something for the rating. read more
