It's tough to rate this place because the staff were great but the store is a real pain to try and find. We placed an on-line reservation for an item that wasn't available in the Airdrie or Coatbridge branches so this was my first visit here. The store is hidden in the ground floor part of the warren of shops that makes up the Cumbernauld Shopping Centre (the place that got the "plook on the plinth"/carbuncle award, and I'm my opinion should have been knocked down). As we had placed our reservation with very short notice and we were going on holiday the following day, I had to quickly drive round and scramble to find the entrance to the shopping centre. Once inside it was like a scene from the crystal maze, rushing round the maze of shops that appeared to have no logical layout and definitely not for someone that was on a time limit without a clue where they were going. After several wrong turns and back tracking after finding myself in the Antonine Centre I eventually found the store down an escalator as they were closing the front door. The staff were great and dealt with my order swiftly (even asking the frustrating required warranty / additional items questions) and by the time I'd got my breath back I had my item. The staff unlocked the front doors to let me out still with a smile on their faces and I headed on my way. (luckily it's always easier to get back out of places once you've taken every wrong turn more than once) If it weren't for the staff this would be a one star review but the staff were great and I guess they have to deal with the poor store location all the time. read more
