Wow!!! Soo yummy. The sweetest owners and the all of the baked goods are just as sweet. Great find! I ended up getting a bunch of items, sweet croissant, cookie sandwiches, two kinds (I forget the names), and about five different other things haha, I couldn't resist. Everything was Soo good. All tasted fresh, the items that were suppose to be flakey, were very flakey and not stale, the sweetness levels were on point. Not too much where it's overwhelming and not less. Nothing was oily or leave residue as some other places with baked good do. Great experience and even better baked goods. Would definitely recommend.

Being it was our first time there. It was a nice friendly welcome. Man and woman greeted us and we proceeded to place our order. Of course they were wearing gloves and mask Got some pastries and sandwiches Argentina style. Tasty and some empanadas. Can't wait for the next visit

Amazing Argentinian pastry with delicious coffee. The owners are super nice and always willing to chat a little. Stop and ordered the following: copitos, the Nutella alfajor, and a latte. You will not regret it.

This place is awesome! Very small location, family operated. The pastries are authentic and to die for. They also have great "sandwiches de miga". We took an order of about 20 pieces to go. If you are South American Ex-Pat this will satisfy your homesick cravings... Two thumbs up!

Yummy Argentinean pastries!!! Mmmmm! I don't have to go to Miami any more!! :). The medialunas were delicious and all the other pastries flakey and yummy. Muy rico todo!! The owners are very nice!

Tried this bakery out since it was just a few minutes from my house and was definitely not disappointed. They don't have a huge amount of stuff but it's not in a high traffic shopping plaza. But the selection they do have is great! I had a Ham & Cheese Miga sandwich and Chaja cake for dessert. The sandwich was good. The Chaja cake was fantastic! Layers of peaches, dulce de leche, & strawberries! I will be returning again in the future!

SW Florida has this gem for those of us who need a true Argentinian empanada fix or the sweet taste of medialunas with their coffee or tea.

I will always Stan C'est La Vie in Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch. This location is always busy so get…read morethere early if you have your eyes on a specific pastry. Actually, just get there early anyway because the pastry items are fresher/better. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I typically skip trying to park next to it and just go to the garage and walk over. The service is more attentive than a typical French cafe overseas but not as on top of you as a typical place in the US. You can definitely order at the counter in French if you want to and I've had a waiter there flip between English, French, Spanish, and another language (maybe Romanian?) in one order. The sandwiches I've had were all lovely, and had a little side salad that could benefit from a better dressing (they serve an okay vinaigrette though). I've yet to encounter a single bad pastry - the elcairs, mousse cakes, and flaky pastries like chausson pommes are on par with the typical boulangerie/pattisserie in France and don't make me think US adaptation at all. Prices are reasonable.

We had a nice lunch here! Came with my parents, husband, and baby on a busy weekend brunch hour. We…read morewere luckily able to be sat inside right away in a tucked-in corner. I got the poularde crepe, wanting something savory. This was solid and tasty. Everyone else got nice little meals as well. I do feel like the portion and the quality is a little lacking for the price. That being said, I don't know that there are better French options in the area. I also got a palmier pastry and I should have gotten a croissant, the palmier tasted a little stale. The locale was adorable, with beautifully tiles tables really setting the scene. Overall, not terrible! Worthwhile if you're really feeling French.
