I would say it's good pizza to get if you need to sober up. Speaking of which, I ordered a sangria and it was more like a lemonade. Still yummy and the acidity helped with the heaviness of the pizza. If you're dining here at night, be prepared to dine in the dark. There's not much lighting. And it's very loud! They played rock music, so if that's your vibe then you're gonna like this place. And service was good. They may be short staffed as it took awhile to flag someone down to get the check. I would come back here if I was craving pizza.

I thought that the service was fairly adequate, and it was pretty tylical from my experiences in the city. I ordered the simple spaghetti bolognesa which is one of my trusted Italiam dishes. This did take a little time for them to orelare, and the reataurant wasn't that busy, but when they did bring it to my table, I was more than dying of hunger. I thought it tasted pretty good, however the bolognesa sauce was somewhat watery. Still the sauce was exceptional in my opinion. I decided on two pizza slices made up with Tocina (ham), salchicha (bacon), and salami. In heinsight I probably should have gotten just one slice of the ham, bacon, and salami slice, and one slice of something more common like cheese. Having lived in New York City for 8 years, and having been well versed in New York pizza, I would characterize the pizza from here as fair. I still finished the two slices, bit they tasted rather dry. I think the biggest problem with pizza from around here is the lack of sauce. Too many times I've seen people here adding ketchup on top of their pizza, and that's just criminal. The pizza crust could also use some help!

I took a stroll in the historic district And came across a charming Italian restaurant called Nonsolo. The prices were moderate, the place looked inviting and so I decided to take a chance. It was my lucky day! Nonsolo Is right in the heart of the historical Zolaco. It has an old world charm and an inviting menu. As soon as I walked in I got a really nice vibe and liked my waitress. She spoke a little English and I spoke a little Spanish, and between the two of us we were able to communicate. I'm not so crazy about a QR code menu, but this seems to be standard fare these days. It was hard getting a signal on my phone to view the menu, so she signed me into their internet Wi-Fi and then there was no problem. I ordered pasta with clams in a white clam sauce. And of course, a Coke zero! While I was waiting, I enjoyed the bread and butter and taking in all the people strolling by. The pasta was really delicious and I hated to see the bowl empty. I sat for a while looking at the people in the street and took in the wonderful ambiance and that delicious meal before I headed to Ballet Folklorico. I would say my only criticism was that they charge 45 pesos for a small Coke zero which is the equivalent of $2.50. The pasta dish itself which was around $13 US dollars was well worth it.
