She knows exactly what needs to be done and how to do it. I've gone in with a limp practically dragging my leg and left walking with a spring in my step! Highly recommended and I've been to others... she was the only one willing to listen to me and understand my unique situation. When I was calling around she was the only Doctor that actually got on the phone with me and took the time to explain what she could do for someone suffering from what I had which is a bulging disc L5S1 along with SI joint dysfunction. Other chiropractors would do a quick adjustment and send me on my way. Dr. Renee puts hot towels on my back, adjusts me in multiple different ways, and even uses a massage tool... it's the full treatment and it's more than others offer so do yourself a favor and get the royal treatment! From there, in my five future sessions, Dr. Rebecca treated my neck for the first half of each session, and then worked on educating me on exercises to do to strengthen my core, shoulders, hips, glutes, all to reduce any future back pain. Her sessions really do take a holistic approach; it's not just a buzz word for her. On a softer side, her clinic environment is very warm and inviting (just like the women behind it!). Feels like it almost shouldn't be called a "clinic" because it doesn't invoke that clinic feeling. From the beginning, she was compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to think outside the box to find treatments and exercises that would help me feel better and continue making progress. She took the time to listen, adjust my treatment based on how I was doing, and encouraged me every step of the way. Thanks to her care, I regained so much mobility and function in my shoulder and felt confident throughout the recovery process. I love the 1-on-1 time and not having to "share" as I had experienced in other places. The only chin scratcher for me didn't actually come from my PT Catrina, but from the owner who popped in (even though the door was closed--sometimes I need to lift my shirt to access certain spots on my back) with a student who was shadowing. I got no heads up, and I wasn't asked if it was ok that she observer my session. I would have happily said yes, but I was more concerned that I wasn't even asked. Unfortunately, my insurance changed, and I was no longer able to continue therapy with her, which genuinely made me sad because I felt I was in such good hands. I highly recommend Catrina to anyone looking for a physical therapist who truly cares about her patients and is committed to helping them succeed.

I visited "Doctor" Settimi for some neck stiffness a little under a year ago and that…read moredecision has been one of the biggest regrets of my life...and is something I am still experiencing the affects of today. I had never been to a chiropractor, so I had no idea what to expect. She assessed my neck, told me I was a special case, but could help me, and then proceeded to adjust my neck and spine. Immediately following my first adjustment, I became extremely nauseous and dizzy. She told me it was my body releasing toxins, and that it would resolve in a few days. To be sure, she wanted me to return to her every day that week for an additional adjustment and had me pre-pay for the sessions. After each session, I still felt dizzy...almost like I had just woken up and my neck continued to hurt. My focus was all off and my eyes frequently drifted when trying to focus on something. Not normal...I had never experienced this before her first adjustment. Her prescription? More sessions with her...because I was a "special case." When I called her to tell her that I didn't think her adjustments were helping me and that I was going to stop seeing her, she threatened my decision by saying that "my insurance company may refuse to pay for the sessions if they find out I am going against doctor orders of continued adjustments." She said she could still help me and other doctors won't understand my "special case." That phone call was the end of my relationship with her. It has been almost a year and I am still experiencing the visual distortion and focus-problem affects from her adjustments. Other chiropractors I have talked to said she completely mis-read the causes of my neck pain. She took x-rays of my neck and of my neck only. It turns out the cause of my neck pain was in my lower back...something she didn't even think to explore before she started adjusting me. Other chiropractors were shocked she didn't x-ray my whole back and went right for a neck adjustment. Her operation seems to be based around how much money she can get from patients, and my guess is she didn't x-ray my back because it was expensive for her to explore it. Her staff told me they don't get enough money from the insurance companies for the sessions, and it is probably for this reason why my whole experience at her office felt like I was being duped by a sleazy salesman. In addition to her pre-pay request, after each of my sessions her staff tried to "up-sell" me with a whole bunch of health supplements that had no relevance to my neck. I see she has many good reviews on here, but if I could go back and change one thing about my life in the last year, it would be to never have visited her. She only made my body worse.
