I got the guy in the very first seat he faded me up and paid really close attention to detail! My respects to him! After trying a few local shops, I decided to give this place a shot 6 months ago. Had a few different barbers both very good. However, Cristina has been my go to barber. She is professional, consistent and service oriented. At first, I was hesitant to go with a lady barber but Cristina definitely knows what she is doing. I always walk away happy with the trim and shave. I'm pretty much a regular now and plan to keep it that way. Walked in and there was one barber on the first chair to the left with a customer. I stood in front of the counter waiting to be acknowledged for at least 30 seconds before initiating contact with him since he didn't care to acknowledge me. He told me he wasn't taking any walk ins and that their guy that does walk ins wasn't there and he didn't know if he was going In or not, tried to make an appointment for the next day and he said he was booked. Lol I'm good. If that's your idea of customer service I'll go elsewhere. Fwiw I will gladly pay $30-40 for a decent haircut, but not trying this place out again. read more

I absolutely love this shop. My son has curly hair so it's hard to find a spot that knows how to cut it without messing it up and the lineup work that Osman does is phenomenal. Started coming here because it's two blocks away from home. My previous visit I asked for a mid fade without anything taken off the top. The older lady that works there messed up my hair by cutting the top way too high, when I said (NOTHING OFF THE TOP SEVERAL TIMES) I practically had to go with it two on top after she did that, when my hair was an inch, before the cut! She still charged me $25 for the haircut! Decided to give this place another chance today. I called and specifically asked if they were accepting walk-ins.! I was told they do and to come on in. I got there and there was only one other person in front of me waiting! When I was waiting while all three barbers were occupied five others walked in after me. All the barbers finished the cuts they were doing when I walked in, and everyone else skipped ahead of me as if they were all doing appointments and nobody was taking walk-ins! I sat there for a little over an hour, and nothing so I got up and walked out. Their work from my experience has been very mediocre, with their work and service! Don't recommend this spot at all. Great shop! The Ares sign says tapers, fades and shaves but Sergio is a pro whose skills don't end with clippers.
