If I could rate 10 stars, I would! My last haircut, FROM A DIFFERENT BARBERSHOP, was a disaster and made me lose trust in barbers. I wore a cap for two weeks after that. My soon to be 4 year old had a haircut appointment with Josh. My son has autism/adhd and has a very difficult time sitting still and isn't very fond of how the clippers feel on his head. (He has noise and sensory difficulties.) So as you can imagine every haircut appointment I've taken him to (other barbershops) always ended up in both of us leaving in tears. I walked into this shop with A LOT of anxiety worried he wouldn't still and it would end in disaster. To my surprise Josh was very patient and understanding. My son was the calmest he's ever been sitting in a barbershop chair. I couldn't believe it! At one point Josh even let my son get down from the chair to look at the fish in the fish tank and get a little break. After a couple of minutes he went back to the chair and Josh was able to continue. This was honestly the best haircut experience my son and I have ever had. Hate to write this review because Josh and his family are good people but the cuts here have been inconsistently bad here over the past year as most of their best Barbers are gone. The new rockabilly chick cutting here ruined another 4 months of hair regrowth after a previous barber ( at this same shop ) cut literally into my hairline with 10+ inches of hair causing me to have to shave my head to regrow 4 year worth of hair growth. Hair gets longer again, a different barber performs an undercut toooo damn narrow so I'm regrowing another bad haircut from this shop. I told the girl, don't take anything off the top... nothing. Not only does she cut the top, she does one side correctly and fucking chops off a whole side part on my hair... and even then it was a shitty chop at that. After losing more months and months trying to regrow hair after their consistent "inconsistent haircuts" I'm throwing in the towel on this place. I suggest sticking with Josh if you're coming here, otherwise your haircut will literally be a hit or miss. read more

Apparently they don't understand what "short" means. I asked for my hair at thee fromt to be at the longest an inch and a half or 2 inches but they left it as long as i walked in with! Attached is the pic i showed if what i wanted and the long haired on is me (wt the gym hence the sweat) ii didnt think it was bad because the barber had styled it and made it look short so i was good. At the gym with the sweat i saw he had not cut anything at all! I can get better haircuts from elderly ladies with their basic barber shops and i might as well so i can get a basic short haircut! Found this barber shop on yelp since we were down in the area and my bf needed a hair cut. Came here due to the good reviews on yelp. Called ahead to see if I could make a same day appointment however, there was not one available so we did a walk in. They were able to take us immediately and we did not have to wait very long which was nice. The staff was friendly and my bf was happy with the way his hair cut had turned out. The barber shop does have reasonable prices for a hair cut and we paid significantly less than we normally do. $18 for a hair cut? Not bad. On a side note: **The yelp check-in is old and they are not doing the offer anymore** The staff member was not even aware of the yelp check in and I think they should take it down if they are not offering it anymore. read more

Every single barber here does an outstanding job. I came in last year because they where open the latest. I needed an emergency cut. They where busy and close to clocking out but they made the time for me. Great cut. But you know, not every time right? WRONG. Every time I come I get a different guy. One thing I've learned is pay cheap haircuts and get what you paid for. I rather drive from South L.A to Montebello to get a firme as haircut. Something i would Recommend is to make appointment.
