I swung by yesterday at about 4pm and asked the two barber that were cutting hair outside if they took walk ups. They said yes but they were already full for the day but also said I could book an appointment for 8am tomorrow morning. I agreed to that time since it was perfect for me since I have an early party to attend this Saturday morning. I texted the guy and just confirmed with him my 8am appt. he now tells me if I can do 9am because something came up. -_- This is VERY irresponsible of this shop to tell their customers a certain time if they aren't actually gonna do it. For starters, I know how to cut my own hair. I stopped going to shops because I'll usually drop $20 in a place only to get home and see a bunch of spots missed, a hack job all together, or have to wait an insane amount of time to get the shittiest barber in the place because the good barbers are too good to take walk-ins. I then usually have to get my clippers out and fix the mess left on my head and wonder why I even subject myself to this bs and worst I'm out $20. Anyway...I work in payroll and it's year end so I get home too tired to do my own hair, so I decided to look for a place to take over. I don't mind paying good money as long as the job is done right. This shop had great reviews, so I decided to give them a shot. I showed up at 9:55am this Saturday because it says they open at 10:00. There was a lady already waiting with her son. She said she had been there since 9:45 and that a guy came in, opened the shop, got something and left right away. At about 10:05 another guy showed up with his 2 boys. We all started talking and realized we were all first timers and were there based on their ratings on yelp. Well...after waiting until 10:45 we all finally gave up and left pissed. Long story short, this place should change their name to "Jonny's Open Up When Ever the Fu€# I want Barber Shop"...lmao. Needless to say, I went to another highly rated place on Paramount and Florence to get a hack job. I hold Jonny's solely responsible for this.
