Ate at this food truck at Dead Crow Comedy. The food was good and they cooked it pretty quickly,…read moreless than 10 minutes. Tried the #6 Patacones and #9 Asadita Steak. The Patacones aka tostones ($11.15) was basically a small plantain sandwich with tons of shredded beef, slice of fresh mozzarella cheese, green sauce, sweet sauce, sandwiched in between two small crispy tostones. Wish I had some salsa to add to it to add extra flavor. The Asadita Steak ($12.25) was an arepa with carne asada, pico de gallo, green sauce. The arepa dough itself was crispy but a bit too oily. I liked their creamy mayo based spicy sauce they gave in separate containers. Not much vegetarian options other than sweet plantains and cheese. Food was overpriced, but still a solid food truck to try if you are willing to spend extra.

I love arepas and was excited to try this food truck. Luckily, Broomtail posts their food truck…read moreschedule weekly so I had our night planned - beer and arepas! I got the Curvy Queen - shredded chicken in a creamy avocado sauce with cheese! Very tasty and a good even crisp on the arepa. My husband got the La Asadita steak which seemed a bit pricey but he enjoyed it. It was steak, pico and fresh mozzarella. They have a few other menu items that I'd like to try - plantains with cheese! We'll be back again to try them and to get my arepa fix!

Love, love, love!! My second time eating here was tonight. The first time, I ordered lunch via…read moreGrubhub. Everyone was talking about how good it smelled and asking where it was from. Both times I got the BYO arepa meal. For my first arepa, I had it fried, with shredded beef, and fresco cheese, with a side of tostones and cilantro sauce. Tonight, I had it fried, with shredded chicken, tomatoes, avocado slices, and mozarella cheese, with a side of tostones and cilantro sauce. Both of them were delicious! Out of both of them, I think the chicken one will be my go-to (because I definitely will be back). Everything was fresh, seasoned, and they give you plenty of food for your money. The chicken reminded me of chicken tinga - which is yummy. I ordered when I got there, sat there for maybe 10 minutes (if that) and then my food was done. The staff was super nice and friendly. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and the lady at the counter (I didn't get her name) even remembered my name from my Grubhub order! The restaurant itself is super clean and cute inside. I took mine to go but I did see that they have free coffee refills for those that sit inside and eat. Definitely stop by and try their arepas - even if you've never had one before. You won't be disappointed!

The food is amazing with wonderful flavor and the service is over the top! Best arepas everread more
