Tried this food truck at Mad Mole Brewing in Wilmington. Orders can be placed online or in person…read more Food is cooked quickly so there is a short wait if you order in person. Ordered La Cubano ($9) and Carne Asada ($10) nachos, their most popular items. La Cubano are not actually nachos but 2 big tostones topped with rice, onions, black beans, and shredded roasted mojo pork, fresh cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream. La Cubano was good, I would recommend this. The tostones were crispy and the roasted pork had a great citrus infused flavor. I liked how the rice had orange and yellow colors so it made the whole dish look colorful. This meal is oily and greasy so it might not fit if you're trying to eat a healthy diet. The carne asada nachos were yellow corn tortilla chips topped with rice, black beans, salsa, big carne asada slices, cilantro, and nacho cheese. It was good but would have been better with real cheese and guacamole. Overall, these were the perfect food to eat at a brewery and I would eat at this food truck again.

After placing our order we waited for our name to be called when the food was ready. We tried the CBT burger ($12.00), Goomba burger ($14.00), Chevy Dawg ($9.00), and seasoned chips ($4.00). My favorite was the CBT burger. Both of the burgers came with double thick patties. The CBT burger had melted American cheese, caramelized onions, sliced long pickles, and a "special" sauce. I wish it had more of the sauce- wasn't much there to begin with. The sauce was a stone ground Dijon mustard mixture. The Goomba burger had melted havarti cheese, fresh arugula, sauteed buttered mushrooms, and a little lemon aioli. I was not a huge fan. The meat patties were a little dry. I could not finish the entire burger. Wasn't that impressed with the Chevy Dawg. It came with a light buttermilk coleslaw, pickled relish, yellow mustard, ketchup, and chopped deep-fried floured onions over an Angus hot dog. The hot dog bun was over toasted. I didn't like the taste that much. Maybe it's because they didn't slather the ketchup all over the bun. Once I got to the ketchup part, then it started to taste good. I like that they donate $1 from this purchase to the local animal rescue. The seasoned potato chips could use improvement. First, they need more seasoning. Second, some of the chips were not crispy. Lastly, the most disappointing of all, is that they gave us a skimpy amount of a lemon ranch dressing dip that goes with it. It was a poorly distributed ratio of dip for a huge bowl of chips! I would try this food truck again but would just stick to the CBT burger.

FOOD: Today's feature is Webo's Fried Fish (Flounder) + Fried Shrimp Platter with Okra and Mac & Cheese. Everything was absolutely wonderful, but I really want to focus on Webo's breading and okra. The fish batter is crunchy, crispy and seasoned just right. The portion size is incredible and the fish, itself, was very hot and fresh. The okra? This is how fried okra should taste each and every time with that beautiful, light cornmeal breading! Beautiful! The Mac and Cheese was nice and creamy but needed some added pepper and light salt to season it to my preference. I was also hoping for some of that baked, thicker gooeyness throughout the mac (from a slight broiling on top during the cooking process) but it was a consistent creamy cheese. The mac wasn't bad at all, but not terrific. I would say it was good - very good. The okra and fish though? Those were seasoned, prepared and cooked properly! This is the Soul Food I expected and it fully satisfied. SCORE: 4.5 STARS!! SERVICE: I had the chance to meet Webo a couple of weeks back and also today. Man, this guy puts passion, love and his heart into this food and his business. While his staff was attending to customers in line, Webo, himself, was out greeting customers with his mask on and appreciating their business. The staff was friendly and seemed to all be enjoying their day. This was a fantastic experience and I look forward to coming back to try something new. SCORE: 5 STARS!! Webo's food truck is definitely worth following if you enjoy good, Southern cooking! The food was precisely what I was hoping for and the service was top notch. Thank you again for a wonderful meal today and I look forward to another! SCORE: 4.75 STARS!!

Burgers with fries and drink combo are $12 with the exception of classic, which is $10. All burgers are half a pound meat. The bun was a soft burger bun and the condiments/toppings are your typical tomato, lettuce, onions, pickles, Mayo, and ketchup. The burger itself was a standard burger, which will probably satisfy your burger craving. It was definitely a "big mouf" burger, the burger meat was over an inch thick.
