Despite the amount of people, service was pretty fast and attentive, even with several large groups (including our own) in the restaurant. They also had really nice live music that day, which was definitely an added bonus! They weren't too loud but added to the atmosphere.

The gargantuan platter that was the Bandeja Paida consisted of rice with black beans, fried plantain, flatbread, avocado wedge, fried egg, longanisa sausage, and the headliner--fried slab of pork belly! Barely managed to get it all in and waddle out. Credit cards accepted. Servers are friendly but don't speak English. Pointing and smiling works just fine!

As first dish I had a Patacón de Pollo which I liked and it had a generous portion of meat. As second dish I had a Cerdo Guisado con Arroz y Tajada which was very good as well. Pick from a starter, main, and dessert/drink for a "surprisingly low" price. That's right, you can have the giant beef rib and go away happy. Or just get the variety dish (not called that) if you cant decide. All the locals were enjoying that, so how could you go wrong? Sadly I had a post-lunch thing and couldn't grab dessert.
