Good morning, I purchased a grey Honda HR-V on 05/01/26. This SUV was returned on 05/19/26 due to concerns you each received in an email dated 05/02/26 (11:32 am). I would like it noted and I did call on 05/19/26 to speak with a Sales Manager regarding the excellent service I received from Robert and Wausaun, this portion of my experience was seamless. After receiving my new white Honda HR-V on 05/19/26 during my drive home the TPMS light came on. I called the Customer Service number and was notified that due to it being after 6 pm service was closed. I arrived at 7:28 am on 05/20/26 and was assisted by Ishmael. I explained to him the aforementioned and was met with the following: 1. He stated that my issue could not be resolved because I did not have an appointment. - I stated that I just wanted the air pressure checked because after I left on 05/19/26 Discount Tire Co was closed and on 05/20/26 they had yet to open as I stated previously I arrived at 7:28. 2. Ishmael also stated that I could leave the car and when Service had an opportunity the car could be checked. - I pointed out that I had to go to work, which he then stated I could receive a courtesy ride share. My position is itinerant meaning I am not stationary and need my car for work. Upon further prodding Ishmael took the SUV to check the PSI. Why this many conversational turns took place with no one in service that needed to be assisted is beyond my understanding. When Ishmael returned he stated that the PSI was low on the front two tires and overinflated on the back two tires. I asked "what was the PSI supposed to be" he proceeds to "mansplain" what PSI is WHEN THAT WAS NOT THE QUESTION ASKED. In lieu of listening to listen he listened to respond. He also stated that the TPMS light would go off after driving, which I understand because this is my 3rd Honda purchase from your location and second issue across 2 different cars with Service. I drove out of my way to ensure the light would turn off, it did not. I watched a YouTube video and recalibrated it myself. I am not employed by Carmax nor do I appreciate having to do someone's job had customer service been his priority this morning, it took a matter of 3 minutes. Again, no one was waiting in the service bay other than myself. Considering that Carmax is facing a challenging time and consumers such as myself still choose to do business with you because of Salesmen such as Robert, Wasuan and notable mention "Peter" who I purchased my first Honda from while in college is beyond me. I would like to know how the Service Department is going to rectify this situation? Thanks in advance,

Initially, everything seemed good . Arshia was very polite, showed us the Carfax, and took us on a…read moretest drive. However, when it came to negotiating the price, they were unwilling to lower it. After some back-and-forth, I proposed a final offer, stating that it was my walk-away price, and Arshia verbally agreed. I confirmed this agreement three times to be sure, and he assured me everything was set. I then went to the bank, got a cashier's check for the agreed-upon amount, and drove to their other dealership location (where they do the paperwork). While we were waiting to meet with the finance manager, we couldn't help but to feel uncomfortable in that environment due to the fact that we noticed Arshia kept talking with some other coworkers and kept glancing at us and sort of just laughing, as if making fun of us. Anyways, when we met with the finance manager, Arshia suddenly claimed the price we agreed upon was incorrect. He said he never agreed to the price I had written on the check and was asking for $1,700 more of the total we had agreed . I was extremely disappointed. I had never experienced anything like this at any other dealership. Given that it was the end of the month and the end of the year, you would think they would be eager to finalize a CASH deal. The price we had agreed to was fair, but they chose to backtrack and demand more money, wasting our time in the process. Should've known better than to trust a 21 year old kid trying to sell me a car. Not to mention, his whole "nice and polite" attitude changed after we refused to pay the extra amount. He drove us back to the original dealership (where we had left our car) and drove back so aggressive. I also found out that they end up deleting bad reviews so who knows how long this review will last

I was initially pleased with the vehicle, but they sold me a LEMON! When I first got the vehicle,…read morethe clock was not working, and the gas door would not close properly. I called and spoke with the salesperson at DriveTime, who told me to have the vehicle placed on a diagnostic machine. We were only talking about the gas door and the clock at this point. Shortly after, I noticed something hanging from my truck. I took it to two different places, where I was told it was the water guard. They advised me to call the dealership to have it replaced, which I did. However, I was told I didn't need the part. They informed me that they didn't have the part but recommended I take it to a nearby shop to fix it cheaply. This all happened within my 30-day warranty period. The claim that I was asked for pictures is false was never asked for anything. Instead, I was brushed off and directed to a no-name shop because DriveTime did not want to fix the issue! Additionally, the wrong tires were installed on my truck. I was told the tires were brand new, yet I ended up with three flat tires that blew out on the freeway, putting my life in danger. I had no choice but to pay for new tires myself. They would rather I would have driven on the rims or died. I was not offered any reimbursement. Instead, I was told that an investigation would be conducted with no guarantee of approval. The bottom line is that the tires provided were too small for the truck, which jeopardized my safety. DriveTime responded that they cannot offer reimbursement which I told them was unacceptable. If I had died on the freeway because of your negligence, then what? I told them that i8 thought this was a reputable company to purchase a car from. The advertisements seemed honest and legitimate, but in reality, they sell people lemons, misrepresent vehicle conditions, and fail to consider the inconvenience caused to buyers. I demanded a reimbursement for the issues caused by their negligence and dishonesty. The way I am being treated is utterly ridiculous, and I want to make others aware of my experience.

Notice how they say your only covered until 5k miles which is not much, or you can return the car…read morebefore 5 days. Well that would work if the car showed any signs of problems before the first month. Thats the point I'm making, you people are selling cars that are just barely capable enough to last past warranty deadlines, then want me to pay for all repairs since now their "not covered" anymore

We were concerned going to a smaller dealership that we would have issues finding financing that didn't cripple us. Not a concern here. If this wasn't enough, Zaki has proven that he has the goods to build a premier dealership as the personal care that he places on cars and customers is apparent from the time you meet. You will likely be taken aback by the way that Zaki balances being personal and professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Unfortunately we had a situation arise causing us to not be able to purchase from Zaki (completely our fault) and he was more than gracious and understanding. While we didn't get to purchase from Zaki( this time), we will be referring all of our friends and family to King Brothers. I only write reviews that I am utterly compelled to, and after spending weeks going through the car shopping fiasco, meeting many wonderful and terrible people, Zaki was the star that outshined them all. I wish Zaki and King Brothers nothing but success as this is just the type of experience we need in the world. Whether you purchase from King Brother's or not, you can rest assured that this 5 star rating (at this time) is not a fluke.
