After waiting for 20 minutes, the tech called me up to check my ID, and only THEN informed me that the fingerprint machine is not working. It's BROKEN. They told me to call the company that made the appointment and let them know as they had no way to communicate with that company. That's a LOAD OF CRAP! When I called the company, they were shocked that they hadn't heard from LabCorp, since it's LabCorp's responsibility to report any issues with equipment. I ended up having to travel to another company's lab a few miles away to have my scan done. What a complete WASTE OF TIME! Don't bother with this location.

I ended up not having the correct information and was confused about what I needed, but the front office staff was very nice and patient with me. The whole process was really efficient and I was really impressed by how professional the staff was, but ultimately their empathy with my situation was what won me over. I've been through this process before and I've never been better taken care of by an office like this. I'm glad this is the office I decided to come to to take care of my prescreening!

I explained that my doctor's office was unable to draw my blood after expressing difficulties finding veins and that I was used to this issue. I also expressed that I was a bit nervous, but the tech was quick getting the needle in and drawing all the required blood. I barely felt the needle and it was over before I knew it; the entire process was completed before my scheduled appointment time even started. It's easy to tell this tech has a lot of experience, thank you for hiring quality people!

There was no one waiting when we got there and we were greeted by the sweetest lady named Regina. She had us just check in by entering patients name and birthday into an iPad. Recently…read morethey have increased their hours so that if you are ill on the weekend your Family Doctor can order labs on Saturday AND SUNDAY !! Likewise if you need to have a lab order already in the system completed, you can go on the weekend when they are not very busy and crowded, thus lessening your exposure during the Pandemic . NOTE: Currently the Rex Hosp. Outpatient Lab closes at 1 P.M. Sat. and Sunday. M-F the Hospital site Outpatient Lab closes at 6 PM It's Cary Outpatient Lab closes at 5 M-F and is NOT open Sat -Sun. This is a really big deal . Before if you needed lab work on the weekend your Family Doc. had to send you to an Urgent Care with the related increase in expense . The majority of the lab staff are pleasant and good at what they do Rex has made some unfortunate decisions regarding throat and nasal cultures that may require a visit to Labcorp instead, but for the most part I highly rec Rex Outpatient labs . Further praise :Rex Hospital Labs do an an excellent job at turn around times on labwork and the results are often available much more quickly than from its competitors

Very disappointed with the quality and efficiency of service here. Had taken my family for a travel…read moremedicine consultation. We arrived at 12pm to an empty waiting room except for a gentleman who it appeared had been seen but was waiting for paperwork?. As new patients we filled out the required (but basic) forms and handed these in. And the proceeded to WAIT...and WAIT...and WAIT. A lady came after us and was seen in less than 10minutes. I assume this is because she was a prior patient and thus her information was already in the system. It was 12:45pm before we were finally invited to a patient room (as it turns out ALL THIS TIME they had been "entering our information" - mind you they had already confirmed our insurance). Sigh. It was 1:20pm before the Physicians Assistant (PA) entered our room. I couldn't believe it. This was a center with NO PATIENTS when we arrived. The vaccine consultation was limited at best. Questions regarding possible allergies/reactions were NOT brought up by the PA. As patients we recognized the possible complications when it came signing the vaccination form and though their nurse had already prepared the vaccinations, we had to opt for 2 family members NOT to do the vaccine because the PA was uncertain of possible reactions. NOR was she aware of alternate measures we could take for those unable to receive required vaccinations. [This location is advertised as a Travel Medicine Office....me thinks not!]. Between seeing the PA, getting the vaccines (1 vaccine by the way) and making a payment, we were finally able to leave at 2:20pm. For an Urgent Care Center with zero patients when we arrived the lack of efficiency in the service was very very disappointing as was the limited knowledge of the PA in a travel medicine office. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
