Pump #7 (the one my wife was at) was a different story. He overcharged her by $2.73. She pressed regular at $4.699, but you can clearly see from the total and gallons dispensed, the charge calculated to $5.199/gal. I went to this place after finding the cheapest price in my neighborhood in the ARCO app. This is very unfortunate since I've frequented this location in the past. Arco - Overcharged at premium price when pumped with regular. - Gas Stations Near Me - Torrance, California

On Monday October 6, 2025 I went to ARCO at 3900 Sepulveda in Torrance, CA. It was about 4:30PM. I went inside to pay for a tank of gas and tried to pay with contactless payment with my card. It didn't work on the terminal inside this station. The cashier tried to grab my card and take it from me. I wouldn't let him grab it. He yelled in my face, "No gas for you!" And called the next customer in line. All of the customers witnessed this outburst and were shocked. I needed gas so I went to the back of the line to try paying again. I didn't want to make everyone wait. When I was at the front of the line again, the cashier scowled at me and went to hide in the back room. I asked him, "so you are not going to sell me gas?" And he shouted, "NO!" What an immature man. He was very short, with curly dark hair and brown eyes. He obviously has never heard of customer service. He was so unprofessional. I would advise women boycott this business because they employ sexist jerks here. I will give other gas stations my business as there are plenty to choose from in this area. read more

Had 2 separate incidents of extremely rude and aggressive behavior by the employees of this gas station. The last incident happened on April 6th, 2026 when the cashier started yelling at me. When I asked him "why was he yelling at me", he became even more aggressive. The incident was shocking and very disturbing. Something's not right at this gas station! I've been coming to this gas station for over 10 years and all the sudden when I put in the same gallons of gas in a car that I've had for over 10 years it doesn't register the same. It shows that it's over an eighth of a tank short of being full. This only happens at this Arco. Also, it won't allow you to register your marathon rewards at the pump. And when you go inside, they're extremely rude. They seem to have an attitude about wanting to use your loyalty rewards. Somethings not right here. This place needs to be investigated! I did a test with two other Arco stations in the same amount of gallon of gas over the last three months because this just something didn't seem right. Under new, EXTREMELY RUDE and PETTY, Management! I have been coming to this location at least once a week for the past 30+ years! I sometimes deliver food so sometimes several times a week. I like the low cash price and frequently buy drinks and snacks here while delivering. I'm thankful they are now open 24 hours. It fits my schedule. I have never had a problem until tonight with a cashier I don't thing I've ever seen here before. At some point, when I became a responsible adult, I bought a mini, plastic trash can (at Daiso, so you know it's small) that fits behind my front passenger seat. I empty it every time I fill up with gas so my car doesn't get too cluttered. Tonight, as the pump is filling my car, I empty my tiny trash can. It's so small, in fact, that it fits inside the opening in the trash can lid, and since my trash is on top, I push the trash down so others have more room. While patting myself on the back in my mind for being so courteous to others, the attendant, who's been vaping outside, comes around the pump aggressively and yells at me, "That is not for your trash!!!" Me: "It's a trash can. Whose trash is it for?" Rude cashier: "Customers that buy things from our store!!!!!" Me: "I bought gas & I frequently buy things from your store. Are you saying I can't buy drinks or snacks, enjoy them in my car & then throw them away next time I fill up? I have to finish them while filling up to be able to use your trash can?" To be fair, there were other items than what I had previously purchased there, but very little. It wasn't like I brought trash from home! This REALLY rubbed me the wrong way as much money as I have spent here over the years! I get it, there is no such thing as full service anymore, but it's still a service station. How petty can you be??? BTW, they now sell tons of smoking/vaping accessories. The gas attendant at this location is by far the rudest man to walk the planet earth. I frequented this location approximately 7 months ago because the gas price was the lowest in the area at the time. He was belligerent, had a horrible attitude and spoke to me as if I were a lowly dog simply because I wanted to use my change from my gas purchase to buy a lottery ticket. I vowed then to NEVER return because I refuse to patronize a business who doesn't appreciate their customers. My money will never support anyone who can't be respectful of the same people who keep them in business. Although the sign on the door said we are opened and the door was unlocked, I still exited the area and went to the side window because I assumed he forgot to lock the doors. I once more requested to purchase my gas with cash and he continued to rudely yell that the location was closed until 10 pm but the pumps were opened. His statement did not make any sense to me because if the pumps are opened, your sign says opened and you are sitting inside without a sign erected saying you are on a break, then how are you not able to accept cash payments, if the pumps are opened? After yelling at me for approximately 3 minutes while I was trying to come to an understanding of what his statement meant, he rudely stated you can pay for your gas at the pump using a card but cash won't be accepted until 10:00 pm. All that time of him yelling and being rude while I obviously was not understanding him, could have been resolved the first second that I walked up to the side window by simply saying, at this time cash is not allowed until 10pm, but feel free to pay using a debit/credit card....simple as apple pie! I frequent this Arco as it has one of the lowest prices the area. They are usually lower or a within a few cents of the nearby Costco. This spot is always busy - but I tend to avoid this place around lunchtime as that time seems to be the busiest. The lines flow into the street and it gets too chaotic. I prefer to go early in the morning where I'm able to drive straight up to a pump without waiting. Cashiers inside are all friendly and helpful. Happy to say I haven't had any issues here. read more

I live nearby, and come here all the time for gas; it's the most affordable in the area! (South Torrance AND Los Angeles and... anywhere I've seen in SoCal actually.) It does get busy in the day time, but I never had to wait in the evenings. Cheapest gas around except for the other arco a little bit south on Crenshaw. Probably the same price. New gas pumps and nice workers. Only thing I don't like about arco is their payment methods. Many of you probs already know but they don't take credit and they charge for debit $.45 I think it is. I like that they don't have much of a snack area so I'm not tempted to buy anything, but they also have a pack of gum if you need one or not. This gas station is busy as they have some of the cheapest gas prices in Torrance. An Arco on Crenshaw and Costco are a few cents less. Self serve yet the cashier always has a smile and is helpful. Do not go to this gas station. As the other guy stated they are rude and racist. My mom had a problem with her debit card as the bank put her funds in savings instead of checking and she couldn't pay with her card but had to withdraw from atm. He then proceeded to tell my mom loud and obnoxiously so that everyone in line could hear that my mom had insufficient funds. Wtf she was humiliated then accused her of talking about him to other people when she was finally paying and pumping her gas. This is bullshit. This Indian guy needs to go back to India. All I need to say, is that this place consistently has the lowest gas prices I have seen in SoCal. I used to think that the gas station with the lowest gas price was the Arco in Westminster/GG on the intersection of Brookhurst and Trask, so it made me so happy that our local Arco beats that station's price. Arco, the main staple for my mother's Honda Odyssey has been the main consumption of gasoline for the vehicle. Stricken to hard economic times, the station is expensive compared to the times of '95 when it was less than one dollar a gallon. These guys always seem to have the best prices for gasoline, 5 to 10 cents cheaper per gallon than other stations within 3 miles.

I had broken bushings and they replaced my lower control arm on the passenger side for cheap. Not only that but they were so kind and the older gentlemen the that runs the repair shop is willing to help no matter what.
