I came here to fill up tank full gas and the guy inside the register name Aaron is totally arrogant. He did not honor my $50 bill. Says smaller bill but I was about to fill whole tank and to buy some stuffs as well. I could use my card but if I use card I need to pay extra dollar for gas because cash price is cheaper than paying by card. Or put the cash price and credit price same. I would definitely use card. While I'm working, Dear Hubby (who's blissfully retired) is the King of Errands in our family. He's usually the one gassing up the cars, doing the marketing, and more. He prefers a certain wholesale club, but occasionally, we stop in here. It's definitely convenient, and well-priced. The landscaping renovations spruced up the place; a nice touch. Maneuvering space can be tight at times. They have an AM/PM market, too. Not many places to park to go in, if you're not already pumping gas. They only accept debit cards or cash. read more

Horrible store! They advertise their monster energy drink 2 for $4 with app and 2 for $4.25 without app, as u can see in the photo. Also same advert on shelf btw. I went in there the other night and they charged me full price for 2, which was over $6! The next night I saw this advert and showed it to 2 of the clerks that were working and they did nothing, still tried to charge me for 2 individuallualy. I have been place where this has happened and the clerks just made an adjustment and honored there advertised deal. Neither of these employees offered any help in the matter. Again. Dont get ripped off at this Arco, there are so many more to choose from. read more

I used to stop at this place on the way to work, convenient. Then I started taking a different route. I decided to stop by when almost on empty one hurried morning. It bothered me that the young lady would not allow me to use the restroom. My goodness, they still have it closed after over a year since the pandemic started? That's crazy. I remember stopping in once, when most places were still closed, over a year ago. I could see it then, but give me a break. Everywhere else I've been has gone back to normal, for the most part. I didn't even fill the tank and won't be back. You'd think I looked like a bum who would leave a messy restroom for them to clean up. read more

Good location at the corner of LA and Madera, but parking is sparse and it's often packed and hard to drive. Station has good gas prices but ONLY if you pay cash. If you use your debit card inside, you'll get a 35 cent surcharge. Big turnoff for me. Overall, I wouldn't suggest stopping here unless you have cash. read more

Used to love Arco gas but I'm not sure if they always just took debit cards since I didn't have a credit card the last time I lived in Simi but that's a bummer. I work for the post office and to not be able to gas up my mail truck there if I'm delivering over that way is disappointing because they only take debit. Pump #3 malfunctioned and shorted me at least 30 to 40% of the gas I paid for. I know my truck and I know exactly how much 5 gallons registers on my gas gauge. Now I could be wrong and space aliens stole the gas while I wasn't looking. The pump was running way too S L O W .... Called the owner the next day just to let him know and he was more than totally rude and insinuated I was trying to get free gas. Before even hearing me out he immediately took the defensive and exclaimed he has a "5 Million Dollar Business" and my pumps are bla bla bla. Even if I was wrong there is no reason ever to talk to a customer like that. Very unprofessional and just plain bad business! NOW..It's not uncommon for gas pumps to need service, and generally they pump less gas than is registered by the meter. The attendant at the new Sinclair station readily admitted that, and said they had had a problem with one of their pumps. This place drives me nuts. It's located on a very busy corner and is very difficult to maneuver in and out of the driveways. Then, to make matters worse, there isn't a lot of room in between the gas pump bays, the street or the little store. This is one of the smaller gas stations I've ever seen. I frequently have to drive all the way around just to jockey for a position. The fact that there are selfish, rude drivers, well, they're everywhere, and that is not ARCO's fault. I just wish THIS station wasn't such a pain to get gasoline. The only reason they get 2 stars is that they are close to my home, but THAT'S IT. read more

I would give this place negative stars if I could... if it wasn't for the location, I'm pretty sure nobody would spend money here. The gas station clerk does not speak English, and actually talks badly about customers in Spanish. Very unprofessional establishment and it is extremely sad to see places with convenient locations go down the toilet like this place. My debit card was skimmed at this station. I know it isn't usually the store doing it, but it happened this past week. I notified the store, but please be aware of fraudulent activity on your cards after you swipe here. The station itself is conveniently located and was clean. read more

Please, ARCO, hire a steam cleaner to clean the cement at the pumps. There's so much gum on the ground that soon there won't be any cement. It's just gross and in the summer it's really gross. read more

Best prices in simi. Kinda sucks not being able to use a credit card but still a great place

Total thieves. I went in and tried to pay at the pump, but got the "see attendant" alert. I handed the clerk my credit card and asked for $30 of gas. I went out and pumped my gas and had a receipt printed. The receipt from the pump, said I was charged $30, but the receipt from the clerk said I was charged $70.35. I didn't think twice about the $.35 cause Arco charges a fee. But, then I noticed that my debit card was credited $40. Why? No reason because I told the clerk exactly how much I wanted. A few days later, I checked my bank account and saw the charge for $70.35, but there was no sign of the $40 credit put back into my account. I know that sometimes those charges take a few days to show up, so I waited a week... but nothing. In the end, I wasted 30 min's on the phone with my bank getting them to investigate and get my $40 back. What matters most here, is that this Arco is probably over-charging a lot of people and depending on them not to follow up. I'll never use this Arco again, and if I have to, I'll charge cash only. They suck and are thieves. read more
