This Costco gas station is definitely a lot smaller than some of the other Costco locations I've been to, especially compared to a lot of the ones in San Diego. There are only two pumps on each side, whereas a lot of gas stations I'm used to in San Diego have three or four pumps on each aisle. However, the line actually wasn't super long, even though we came on a Saturday afternoon, so getting gas was still pretty quick and easy! I've never really been to this area before, but I actually really liked how lively the area around Costco was. There were a lot of restaurants nearby, including a BJ's and a Mexican restaurant right next to Costco, so there are definitely plenty of options if you want to grab something to eat. Gas was around $5.50 for regular and about $5.90 for 91 when I went. Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping at this Costco gas station if you're in the area! It's super easy to get to right off the freeway, and even though the gas station is smaller, our experience was quick and simple.

So what makes the difference between a good and bad experience? The employees! We had the pleasure and displeasure of getting checked out by Brian and Sam. As I was placing the items on the belt, one item accidentally hit Brian's hand as it toppled onto his side and he gave me the dirtiest look ever! Like dude, relax and don't be such a dick! Sam on the other hand was so pleasant! He was playing with the kids, helped us put our stuff on the belt and was courteous and friendly the whole time. It doesn't stop there! We ordered a half and half pizza before going in, they said, "it'll be ready in 20 minutes" so we think ok, it'll be ready by the time we come out. WRONG! We finish our shopping, head to the food court, yet I'm met with another asshole with an attitude who says "it'll be ready in 20 ..." like WHAT?! So then I asked him to give me whatever is ready and then comes another dirty look acting like I'm asking him to reinvent the wheel! It might not look like it because you see the brushes but you get to select the option of touchless or soft touch before going into the car wash bay. I went inside the gas station to pay so I can confirm it was touchless and because I think it's safer to pay there. The lady working the counter didn't really understand me but another guy working there told me it was touchless and recommended their top tier car wash option. My car is already ceramic coated so I just wanted a quick wash to clean off the dust and pollen. Keep in mind that the touchless will not fully clean your car from mud, bugs, bird dropping and etc. Just be reasonable, I thought the car wash being touchless was great. The drying process gives you about a full minute. It did a great job on my car and since my car is already ceramic coated with some extra topper protection, the extra water beads on my car will fly off when I'm driving.
