We broke down on 6/5/2020 and limped our car into Arco location store number 83846 address 5079 Powerline Rd, Olivehurst California 95961 at 10pm. Our car blew a spark plug. We pulled in and parked near the air for tires and called AAA for a tow. They asked us the address so I ran inside and asked. That way we could get the tow. The lady told me and I finished our conversation with AAA. As we were waiting, I went inside to use the restroom. As I was in there, I talked to the lady working. She told me she normally screens people using the restrooms to avoid druggies and homeless people using the restrooms. I understood that and explained we were waiting on a tow. Which was why we were there. We were told by the tow company between midnight and 1am on 6/6/2020 we would be towed. As I was waiting, around midnight, the lady inside, who I had spoken with earlier, came storming out to our car. Her comment was that we had 30 minutes to move or cops were getting called. We called the tow company and explained we were being harassed by staff that we needed to move our car. Otherwise cops were coming out and towing us at our expense per MANAGEMENT'S request. We were "no longer welcome in the parking lot." I told her, "It is a matter of time before AAA gets here. Her response was, "30 minutes or the cops are called." The tow company never got back yo us. By 2am, we were still stranded in the parking lot. I was frustrated and called the tow company and was hung up by them. They called AAA and canceled our tow. We ended up calling a few private tow companies. At 3am, we were supposed to have an "out of pocket" tow company there to tow us. I got out of the car to throw away a left over soda cup and was walking back to my car. As I was doing so, the employee came out of the store yelling, "Ma'am! What did she ask you for? What did she ask you for?" The lady at the gas pump looked at me and I turned around. I told the employee, "I didn't ask her for shit!!" The employee told me, "You asked this customer for "something" and you need to leave. You aren't welcome here. You have over stayed your welcome and I'm calling the cops. You are soliciting and that is illegal." I told her, "I didn't ask for sexual favors and I don't do drugs. You bitch! AAA just cancelled our tow. And we called a private tow company. They are due any minute." She told me the cops were called and I better have proof. Otherwise I'm getting arrested for soliciting sexual favors in a parking lot. I was pissed. The tow company showed up less than 10 minutes later. We are beyond livid we were treated so horribly by an employee. We break down, and in a "safe" area and then we were harassed and accused of being a prostitute, drug using, homeless person. We were asked by AAA if we were safe, and staff at the gas station made us feel not safe and unwelcome. We will never promote this location. We will tell people not to go there ever! I'd promote 7/11, Chevron, anywhere but this place of business if we are going to be treated like criminals read more
