Unfortunately, my experience with this company requires a cautionary account. My move took place on Nov. 25, 2025. I expected two movers who would conduct themselves in a professional manner, demonstrate knowledge of the task at hand and treat the client with basic respect. The two movers that arrived were young men in their early 20s. Prior to hiring this company, I specifically asked the Manager whether her movers wrapped the furniture and I was assured by her that they did. However, on the day of the move, it became clear that the crew did not understand or follow standard professional moving practices. My furniture was not wrapped or protected; instead, I was told that blankets would be placed on items only after items were already on truck. They were not. The movers were very dismissive and rude. As a woman alone, I felt very uncomfortable speaking up further. This experience reflected a lack of professionalism, preparation, and respect for the customer. Their conduct made an already stressful day more difficult than it needed to be. During the move, furniture damage did occur. After weeks and repeated calls on my part, I was eventually offered monetary compensation. While the amount was nominal, I am grateful that some recompense was finally made. My purpose in writing this is not to be punitive, it is to warn potential customers and to encourage this company to improve. Particularly, in how their movers interact with clients. Skill alone is not enough; of which they had little, but that professional demeanor and respect matter. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it would go along way toward improving the overall customer experience.

The week I was supposed to move brought bad weather. I had a long gravel driveway and expressed to Eric that his truck may not make it through on moving day and that we should reschedule. He assured me that it would. On moving day they spent in total almost 2 hours trying to get the truck in and out of the driveway. They were not able to take my mower or other lawn equipment on the truck and offered a flatbed at an additional cost. I had no faith that the flatbed would be able to get in/out of the driveway with the snow so I decided to call on a later date for the equipment. His crew cracked my headboard and left cigarette butts at both houses. When I contacted him about moving the lawn equipment in April he did not respond.

I spoke with Luis(founder of moving guys) and he had told me for everything I had needed moved it…read morewould be $400 for 3 hours & 2 men. I advised him I would speak with my boyfriend about that. I messaged him again and told him we would go with them and he never responded back. I then message the "Moving Guys" Facebook page. Told them everything I needed moved they said $450 for 2 hours and 2 men. If I was already told a price of $400 for 3 hours and 2 men they would honor it right? WRONG. THE fb page said that Luis would reach back out to me (he has yet to do so been over a week). The Moving Guys fb page asked me to send pictures of everything that I need moved so I did that. 2 days go by and no response so I message them again. "Hey I have not heard anything from Luis. Do you want my business or not?" They then respond with "hey, we've been busy" then they said "$425 for 2 hours $135/hour" I then said, "Well that is not the price I was originally told and if you guys do not want to honor that I will do elsewhere." They respond with "have a blessed day." You'd think if you have a small business that you would be better about customer service. 10/10 DO NOT GO WITH THE MOVING GUYS
