Arco gas isn't cheap here (3.87) convenience store doesn't carry ready to eat food. (only AM- PM does?). no coffee after 10. just come here for the smog check, chips, sodas or hi-chews (1.09) it's not their fault but 2 stars is the best i can do for them..... read more

Let night I stopped here, and after filling up, noticed the seal on the pump was not affixed correctly. Having recently read about credit card skimming, and the importance of checking the seals, I brought it to the attention of the attendant, but he became rude and told me there are other pumps to use as he walked away. I asked him it's possible to open the pump he started talking another language and just walked away. read more

I stopped to get gas 2 weeks ago and my debit card wasn't working it kept declining so I paid cash, the next day my bank alerted me of some charges that were possibly fraud, come to find out this gas station used my debit info to put thru a charge for $150 thankfully my bank declined the transaction and I reported it as fraud. Don't use your bank cards use cash if you must get gas here, I will not ever do business with this station again! read more

One of those instances when person A's mistake leads to person B and person B saves the day for you. So, i have (actually, had) been a regular at the 76 Gas Station (39925 Mission Boulevard) just a stone's throw away from this Arco. On a busy working day, i suddenly had my car's tire pressure light go off. While returning from office, later in the day, i wanted to fix it. It was just over 8:40 or so in the night when i reached the 76 Gas Station and explained to the Chinese Gentleman that i did not know how to operate the Air Pump to refill air (Actually, wrong of me, but i have been living in Oregon and there they have an attendant at each gas Station and it is mandatory - as per law - for them to fuel up the car, do the tire pressure etc.). The Chinese man took the $1.5 from me and told me his job is to take money and start the pump and that i was on my own. I thought how tough would it be to fill the air. So, i paid the gentleman and tried the air filling. As it was dark, i could not see the gauge (frankly, i did not know where the gauge was to check how much air pressure there was) - i kept looking regardless. I had filled air in 2 tires and because of my taking long, the pump went off (it was on for a decent 2-3 minutes). Thought of leaving the gas station and trying another place, but something convinced me to go back (as i had paid) and explain my scenario to the Chinese Gentleman. When i went back in, i told the gentleman that the pump had got turned off and that i am still to fill air. And, most importantly, that i did not know how to fill it. For the next 2-3 minutes, the only thing that came out of the Chinese Man's mouth to whatever i said was, "Not My Job." He did not start the pump again because he did not even let me tell him what i needed. Not My Job was all i heard from him, followed by "Crazy" when i left, fuming. - That was perhaps one of the most inhumane things i have come across. Maybe i am being a bit dramatic, but more than anger, i felt sad at the level of humanity. Honestly, i would help out a total stranger change their wheel without batting an eyelid, if someone was in need. Anyway, it was then that i drove to the next door Arco station and explained my situation to an old Indian (dark and a bit burly) Gentleman. He acted like a total family member and told me to pay just a dollar and that he would start the pump again, if i was not done. I tried filling the air, and somehow the light did not go away. I went back inside, and the Indian gentleman not only started the pump again, he also walked out with me to ensure i was filling it up the right way. He told me that the sensor takes a while and that one needs to drive a bit for the light to go off. The fact that i knew i had filled up the right amount of air (thanks to the Indian gentleman and another person from whom i had asked how to check the air gauge), i left the gas station with the light still on. I would have barely driven 100 meters that the light went off. And what a sigh of relief that was. Do not wish to carry any ill feeling towards the Chinese gentleman at 76 Gas Station next door, but his words still ring in my mind, "Not My Job." Next time someone is stranded on the road, and it is dark, my response is definitely not going to be, "Not My Job." read more

I can only speak to using this Arco station during daytime hours on Monday through Friday. At those times I have never encountered a single problem of any kind. I've made three different car repair visits to this Arco location, as well as buying gas there. The mechanic, Wilmer, does neat tidy work and the prices that he charges for his work are very reasonable. Aaron, the day clerk at the cash register is a great guy, as well. For my latest visit today, I needed a battery replacement, as well as an oil and filter change. The entire process took only about a half hour and it was completed with care and attention to detail. I plan to continue using this station both as my primary gas station And the place where I take my car for repairs. read more

Walked in one day just to gas 10 bucks worth of gas.. gave the Indian guy 20 bucks...he gave me 10 ones.. I kindly as if he has 5 so I didn't really wanted carry all ones.. he was so rude and yelled out money is money go and get out.. I freakin was like what the hell.. who the @#$&$-# are u to talk to someone like that and took my 20 back and took my business to the 76 station right next door.. omg.. if u simply said sorry that all I have I can respect that . But to be so rude and respectful was so uncalled for. If u r the owner you should learn to talk to a customer if u just work there.. then again ... to the owner learn how to hire the right people... Take you car here to Wilmer when something goes wrong with it. They also have the cheapest gas prices in town too. This Arco does any car repair, oil changes, smog check, etc. The reason I bring my car here is because the mechanic is a good honest guy and always gives you a fair price on your repair. read more

Update! I finally got my air conditoner fixed at an authorized Subaru dealer (which I would have done initially but the closest one is 40 minutes from my place). The mechanic described the problem as obvious, he said, "the pipe was spewing out all of the fliud." It has been almost 1 year and my air conditioner is still working perfectly. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My boyfriend was filling his tank with gas (all the way full also) and decided to throw away some trash from the car. The indian owner or older man who works there probably didn't like that and started cussing at him out loud in punjabi, thinking no one understood. Bad behavior. read more

I wish Yelp had a Zero rating. Spent a buck in quarters to get air in my tires. The nozzle was so badly worn out that I *lost* 5 pounds of pressure in the first tire I tried to fill. So I went inside to ask for my money back. Courteously explained the situation. I paid for air. I did not get air, Could I get my money back? "No refunds" was all I got from the rude, brusque and dismissive employee. He just brushed me off. When I tried to explain the situation further (politely) he picked up a broom and started sweeping the clean floor. "No Refunds." The conversation was over. He was telling me to get lost. He had my money. If I did not get what I paid for, that was just too bad. I have spent at least $1,000 a year at that station for years. No more. Never again It wasn't the lousy dollar. It was the monumental arrogance that got me. I regret every nickel I have ever paid these jerks. So what if they have low prices. My pride is not for sale. Do not patronize them. Fremont is full of friendly, honest merchants. No need to come to this place and get abused. read more

I've been filling up here for the last nine years and most of the time they have the cheapest gas in the area. I think the only station cheaper than them is the arco near auto mall but the auto mall area is always too congested and I feel its a hassle to go there. I find this location more convenient, and much more easier to get in and out of. Only gripe I have about this place is sometimes some of the debit card machines don't work and I have to run around between machines. It'd be nice if each pump had their own credit card machine attached to them. Anyways, other than that I think it's great to check this place out if you are in the area and looking for cheap gas! read more

A few weeks ago I happened to get gas here a couple timers and realized one of the nozzles was malfunctioning. I tried to bring it to the attention of the clerk who was right at the island cleaning the pumps and to my disbelief, he showed the worst I don't care attitude with rudeness. Cheaper than the other stations near it, but there are other Arcos within 5-10 minutes drive that are usually all cheaper. This site also closes pretty early, which is annoying since it is the closest gas station to me. And one time is RAN OUT OF GAS! For like a couple of days too! I have been filling gas in this place for many years. It is my neighbor, the owner seems to be there most of the time. The gas price is lower than the other one near by. They once accepted credit cards, but not any more. It would be nice if they can accept credit cards again. read more

I called to book a service for my car that day and a serviceman answered. My cell phone was in a bad cell area and apparently he couldn't hear me. He said "Hello" a few times and I did too, then he asked "Do you miss me" and "Do you want to see my penis". I was a bit horrified. Imagine if I had gone in person. I can only think he thought it was someone else, which just indicates he must have his girl or someone usually calling him in the morning at work.
