This Arco is significantly cleaner than any Arco I've been to and staff is so friendly. They actually take pride in their work. The two employees, one woman and one man, were there tonight. They woman was mopping and making sure everything was clean instead of just half a**ing it like most do. And the guy at the counter says, you must've done something wrong or else it wouldn't have charged you for that price. Really? 2 weeks ago my wife told me the ARCO gas station (*1) attendant shorting her change by $2, she went back and confronted him about it, he looked at the register and realized he did a mistake without any apologizes... Tonight 10/17/2020 at 12:45 am, I stopped by to buy a six-pack $8.99+tax, the same (*2) guy gave me $4.75 change out of my $20 payment, as about to walk away I realized it does not make sense, I confronted him, without hesitation again he said "Sorry I made a mistake" and gave me the missing $5. my aunt came to this arco with my other uncle because they came to my cousins birthday at a mall nearby, at first nothing was wrong then my aunt asked where nearby they can use a bathroom, the worker said "we don't have a bathroom here". which was not what my aunt asked. then a dude came in trying to buy a charger and asked my uncle if he can borrow 2 cents, my uncle luckily found 25 cents and said the dude can keep it to buy the charger, the worker then basically said she can't sell the charger to the dude because he asked for money which is fucked. did I mention the worker is female? well she was. and she basically was rude and the dude got mad and just said "fuck you" to the worker which was the most respectful thing he honestly could've said under the circumstance. basically bad customer service and would not recommend. I came to Arco to get some value gas and while I was inside prepaying for my gas I decided to grab some snacks. I really felt like having an iced coffee but they were in the process of brewing some fresh coffee, so iced would not be available for a while. I continued to look and found a Frappuccino in the refrigerated section and decided to grab one of those. Now it was time to find something to chew. I debated if I wanted savory or sweet, especially since I just got the Frappuccino, sweet won. I looked to see if they had any candy specials and saw 2 for $4 on the Kinder "king" size. So I grabbed 2 and headed to the cashier to pay for my snack and my gas. When it rang up it came up as $4.58. Now I know it's only 58 cents but it's my 58 cents and the only people allowed to keep my money are my children. I informed the employee that they were advertised as 2 for $4 and showed him the ad. He looked at it but then informed me that I might be an old ad. I said I understood but since the ad was still up that he was suppose to honor the price. He became unwilling to assist in getting any help to correct the price of the candy. He suggested that I pay the $4.58 and then call his manager to have the 58 cents refunded to me at a later date and time. I said that I was unwilling to do that and did not take the Kinder chocolate. I am giving Arco this poor review not so much the person helping me. Arco is the one that allows their employees to work towards customers satisfaction and the person was obviously not trained or given the authority to fix a 58 cent price discrepancy when there is no manager on duty. So I do not recommend making any other purchase here other than gas. read more

I've been coming to this gas station for about 3 months now. There is always more then one person behind the counter with a Arco AMPM shirt on "employee" but there is only one on the register ringing people up. Gas Station is supposed to be quick people got things to do. Not this place one cashier while the others stand around doing nothing. I called out who I thought was a manager and expected a some what reasonable professional response... To only get "don't worry about my people and my store" and mind ya all I said was "hey sir maybe another cashier might help you out, you've got a line out the door and people got things to do" Definitely horrible horrible service here. Well with gas sometimes you don't have a choice especially once your light goes on. Yea ampm cheaper but the gas quality is a get what u pay for deal. I don't like that they still don't take credit cards I mean wth it's gas and it's really inconvenient. This one also gets super busy at times and it's hard af to turn back onto mountain when you're done. read more

We stopped in to top off the gas, get some gum and ice before heading down the 46. Great customer service from the cashier. He was very friendly and pointed me in the right direction to not waste any time. I bookmarked this location and when we come back on our next vacation in July, we will definitely stop here again. This place is somewhat big. The beer is only in 3,6, and 12 packs. No individuals. I think I saw a few but they sucked. Gas pumps are kept up. Not that many bums hanging around. Gas is cheap. It's what you come to expect of an arco. read more

I don't frequent this particular Arco that often unless I'm in the area. PROS It's gasoline price for unleaded is equivalent to the one by my house. (Today it was $3.87 for 87 octane.) And it's by the 210 freeway Mountain onramp. CONS I don't particularly like the layout of the gas pumps. Sometimes it's very crowded. read more

Cheapest gas in the area. Lots of filling stations. Usually gets pretty packed during peak hours but it hasn't been crazy. I don't like that you can't go north on Mountain once you exit the gas station, but it's only a slight inconvenience and is probably done so to alleviate traffic. There is a Chase ATM inside the store which makes it convenient for Chase debit card holders. Line moves pretty quickly inside as well, if you're paying at the register. read more

okay i've been a loyal fan to Arco/ampm forever despite the jokes about their gas being mostly water. Sometimes there cash/card receptors at the pumps are down at different locations and you have to go all the way in(probably a ploy to get you in the store to buy junk). Half of the battle is even getting access to a pump,it's always packed there.The other day i'd just got off the freeway and put in enough for a gallon to get me home(hhhahaha i know but $$ tight right now). Well my gas light came on while in a drive thru not even a mile and a half after leaving. Idk maybe i needed more in my tank but I doubt Mobile/Chevron would've done that. It's a great place that has a good price on chewing tobacco pouches, the place has clean bathrooms, and is always fully stocked, the place is clean and good looking, gas is always a good place, I live in Monrovia so it's my main place to get gasoline. Worst location ever!!! There was today on sept. 25, 16 around 1 PM a Hispanic lady that was so extremely rude. I asked for the bathroom key and upon returning it to her as she gave it to me I got two drinks and got in line. When I got to the register she told me rudely to place the key in the box. I said okay ( I was going to place the key where she pointed after I was ranged up) she grabbed the key from my hands and threw it from the register to the beers dropping some stuff. She proceeded to check me out as I didn't say anything she tried to add some counter items. I told her I didn't want the extra items she was charging me. I had to tell her 3 times I only wanted the two drinks. She grabbed the items angrily and threw them to a box. I was astonished at her attitude. Needless to say I didn't say anything due to respect to the other people behind me. I'm torn on my feeling for this station. While it does have lower prices than other stations around and is conveniently on my way from work to the freeway it is always busy. I don't really mind waiting for a pump since I know I'm saving money on my overall purchase. However, their pumps are incredibly slow!!! last night it took me 15 minutes to pump 10 gallons! I timed it after 5 gallons and it took 5 more minutes to pump the next 3 gallons. Then when I finally filled my tank instead of turning off automatically it shot gasoline back at me and ran down the side of my car...seriously!!! I have a car that's less than 3 months old and I don't need my paint messed up even before my first oil change. When I told my husband about this (he's a mechanic) he told me this was because they don't maintain their pumps properly and possibly don't change their filters as often as they should or there is build up in the pump/line. So if you go here (or any station) and the pumps are really slow stop pumping and go to a different station, the cause of the slowness could affect how your car runs. =( read more
