Luckily, this Chevron was in clear sight so Chevron it was. I normallly don't pump Chevron because they tend to have higher gas prices than most other gas brand stations, but somehow they seem to be present when I need a gas station most. Thank you! Maybe they are strategically located for a reason LOL. It was a quick gas visit. I didn't fill the gas tank up to full because of the price. I knew I could get cheaper gas prices elsewhere. I just needed enough gas to get me to my next destination so I pumped $25 that gave me 4+ gallons. It's all good. Happy Pumping!

Most importantly, if you pay cash and get the older Asian woman, make sure you ask for a receipt. The last time I went I gave her $10 to put on my pump, and after 5 minutes of not getting my gas I went back inside and she confused me with another customer. Asked her to check the cameras if she doesn't believe me that I didn't pump any gas, and she told me to leave and never come back. I won't come back, but if you do go ask for a receipt every time.

I had gone to several other Land Rover specialists and no one could seem to figure out a problem to my car. Instead, I spent hundreds of dollars diagnosing my car at different shops, yet still left with a stalled car. Sam (the mechanic here) was my dad's mechanic when my dad lived here. Sometimes though, as a stubborn child, you don't want to listen to your parents and make your own decision as far as figuring things out on your own. In this case, my dad was 1000% right that Sam was a great mechanic. In a day, Sam was able to diagnose the problem with my car, fixed it and had me going by the end of the week. I'll be honest, I was really nervous driving my car around, especially since my car had already been stalling on the side of the road...the car so far has been working pretty good. I'll be going back here for my LR3 needs.

I came into the Gas Station to get Lotto Scratchers on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The Lotto Scratcher Machine took my $20. The person that was there told me to write my name and number on a piece of Receipt paper (probably thrown away)... The person said to come back on Monday because that's when the manager works. It's hard to believe that a store wouldn't have a Manager on duty everyday... No one called me, so I decided to just drive in on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 12PM. The same person that worked on Saturday said the manager wasn't there and that they would come into work in 2 hours.... I asked if they can give me a $20, and when the manager comes in, they can replace the $20 that was stuck in the Lotto Machine. The person there said no, they can't do that. So I went home and waited for a call. No one called. I called the number that's listed on Yelp, and it just keeps ringing and it won't connect. Then on today (Tuesday, September 9, 2025), I went in, i was the 2nd person in line. The lady (ELY); she said she is the manager, and I explained to her the situation. First thing she said was "Oh, they told me they gave you the money already". I told her no, they said they can't do that without taking the money out of the Lotto Machine. So the Manager (ELY) told me i had to wait because there is a line of people that she has to help. Ely is Mexican, and the rest of the customers in the store are also Mexican. So she basically pushed me aside and helped the other customer. I kept telling her that I was here first and that she could just go to the back and get the $20 from the Lotto pile, but she refused. 5 Minutes later, she called for someone named (Silvie, Also Mexican), and she came out and took over the Register while ELY went to the back to get my $20. It took her just less than 1 minute to go back there to get it, and come back out to give it to me. ELY shouldn't be a Manager if she is being Racist!!!!! Instead of having me wait, she could have called for Silvie right away, and made everyone happy. She is not well trained to be a Manager!!!!!. I also asked her for the phone number to the store, and she told me she doesn't remember it. Because at around 5:15 to 5:30 every morning, they shut down their pumps down for like around 10 minutes, to either audit their pumps, or reset them for the next day. Whatever they do, they do it at the worst possible time of the morning. Myself, and half the city who begin the start of rush hour, have to fuel up and hit the freeways as soon as possible. Rushing up to a pump, only to find the pump turned off. Not only are they upsetting a lot of drivers, they're probably losing up to a dozen paying customers during this 10 minutes stoppage. If the owner was smart, they would do this reset earlier, like around 3 am, when there is less cars out on the street, and more people still in bed. From now on, if I need gas around this time, I just go straight to Arco, or Chevron down the block.

I know at the end of the day it's $30 and it isn't a lot of money to some, but if i'm paying for a service and I don't get what I pay for, I usually give businesses opportunities to resolve the issues, but in this case I had to go to another place to exchange my tank and ended up paying double what i thought i was going to pay for propane because this gas station has no regards for their faulty services and does not respect their patrons.
