I noticed that this Arco is now accepting credit cards. It used to be that they only accepted cash and ATM cards (with a small fee for using an ATM card). But now they are accepting credit cards. They are charging an additional $0.10 per gallon if you use a credit card. So, e.g.,  $4.13 per gallon becomes $4.23 per gallon. It may not break the bank, but I have never seen a gas station charge more than $0.07 extra per gallon for credit card usage. Anyway, this is a good Arco. They keep it clean, and it has a mini-mart. read more

when you check the location hours it tells you it's 24 hours but when you arrive at 10:50pm the employees will say they're closed as if it's sooooo inconvenient to them for you to pump your own gas. read more

I'm not really sure how another reviewer could knock an Arco down to one star for not accepting credit cards and using ATM machines (with fees) when AFAIK it's a chain wide policy. It's like giving a single McDonalds restaurant a 1 star because they don't serve breakfast after 10:30 (instead of because their food being bleh). Anyway, there are other Arco locations closer to my house but this one always has friendly staff, nice little deals (like a free coffee with fill up), well stocked snacks and drinks, and the location as a whole is always clean and bright. Probably the most important thing for the average joe, though, is that the prices are always very competitive and are more often than not, the best in town. It just seems like a lot of care goes into this particular gas station and was worth mentioning. read more

This gas station is one of the best Arco's I've been to. Beats the hell out of the one down the street on Newport/Fair. At least these have pumps that work, no 10 foot sink holes, and no broken gas handle clip things that keep the gas pumping so you don't have to hold it the whole time. read more

I rarely go to ARCO but today I needed gas on my way to work and decided to go to this station because it was convenient. I went a 7:45am and the woman was not at the counter. A few minutes later she came to the counter flustered and took my money. After I filled up, I went back in to get my receipt (I like to keep track of my mileage and how often I fill up). She came out of the back very annoyed that so many people are just coming in and out (you work at a gas station, that is what people do...people don't hang out at gas stations...gas stations are known to be a quick in and out type of place). I asked her for my receipt and gave her my number. She asked again for the pump number and asked how much I put in (i was just in 2 minutes before saying $20). She then printed a receipt saying pre-paid $20. I asked if I could get a receipt that actually had the number of gallons I put in and the cost (the receipt that I asked for, why else give her my pump number). I did not appreciate her awful attitude and rudeness. The gas station was not even that busy and again this is your job. Yes people will come in an out frequently and that shouldn't frustrate you... This is what happens at a gas station. I am very disappointed in the service and despite this being the gas station near my work I will go out of my way now not to get gas here. Very poor customer service. read more
