I use this gas station occasionally, mostly because it's near my home and its cheaper than Chevron across the street. I haven't had any issues with the pumps or CC readers. But it could definitely use some upkeep of the property. Just trash around the place and full bins of trash and homeless just wandering. Other than that, its and okay place to pump gas. read more

This ARCO basically ripped you off because it charges you the credit price when you use your ATM card versus all of the other Arco's normally charging you a $.35 fee for the entire transaction whereas the difference between the credit price and cash price is generally $.10 meaning that if you fill up a 20 gallon tank, they just ripped you off for almost 2 dollars read more

This Arco is the worst gas station I have ever been too. I went in paid for gas I said pump #6 please and when I went to pump gas nothing was happening went back and I told a women who was the cashier pump wasn't working and she says "You said 8" I said no I did not I said 6 she continued to say "You said 8" I said ok can you please put it on pump 6 I walked away tried to pump gas again and couldn't pump gas I went back and said it's not working she said well you said 8 and I put it on 8 so I said I can't get the gas that I paid for? she said no I said someone else got the gas I paid for she said well you said 8.. I went back out pit gas in my car at the pump and I went inside asked for a managers number or someone to make a complaint and a guy come in speaking in a foreign language and called a older guy from the back he asked what the problem was I explained it and asked for my refund he asked for my receipt the women said "she didn't any a receipt " I said I got a receipt " when I showed them it was pump #6 they were speaking im their own language he gave me my refund and proceeded to say next time.... I just walked away didn't listen to anything else. Because careful this place has the worst customer service they are very unethical. read more

Will never go back - today I had a faulty pump (which woman/worker said she had known about but was still running it) and had gas spill all over my car and ground for a good 20 min. After someone told me what was happening (I was in car with my 3 small children) I asked attendant for water to wash my car before I turned it on. She refused and wouldn't even give me a partial refund even though what I paid for was all over the cement. Police had to come and get me water since I couldn't leave my kids unattended and she wouldn't help. Insanely horrible service. I hope they go out of business or get bought by another station. I checked my bank statements today to find that there were two charges I did not recognize under the name, "KHANH AND VIVI" with the address 3201 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA. You can imagine my concern as I did not recognize these individuals on my debit card statement. The name did not look professional at all--more akin to a home-based business. I was about to call Bank of America to cancel my debit card and refund those charges but decided to do some research online first. After this, a call to the gas station (whose attendant was especially rude I might add), and a call to Arco's head office, I've been able to ascertain that these are valid charges. It seems that now because of a change in ownership from BP to Tesoro and a franchise handover, the new owners are permitted to charge customers on their debit to their own accounts, Khan and Vivian Nguyen. Several debit card owners may become alarmed at this and be more inclined to cancel their cards than I was. I would suggest that the new owners 1) append "Arco" to their POS name and 2) provide some signage that there has been a change of ownership along with a new POS charge name, or 3) revert back to using the "Arco" name as per early June. All that said, I get my gas here often because it's open later than the Costco and it's closer. I don't really mind all the other drawbacks because it's cheaper gas than at most other places. First of all I have been hearing that Arco gas has more water added to it then other stations which is why its cheaper than most. Dont quote the kid im jus sayin. I've heard its bad for your engine as well so I've tried to stop but its right off the freeway from my job so its so easy for me and thats why i get angry when i find myself going there haha. The prices are supposed to be cheaper than the comp. but if you use your credit or debit there is a $.35 charge added to the fee which puts you over the 2 cent difference you were thinking you were saving. It may be $0.06/gallon cheaper than the Mobil gas station across the street, but it's the same after you factor in the $0.35 debit card fee. I ended up going here since I had to make a delivery down that street though. It's next to the In n' Out, which is nice. :) read more

Been here a few times in the year to do this and know that all u need to do is ask the attendance to push a button 2ft from register. Super pricey gas if you don't have ARCO membership. I thought ARCO is supposed to be the cheapest membership-free gas but i guess it depends on geographical location too. I only come here if i'm too lazy driving all the way to COSTCO, this gas station is not really crowded either, most people rather drive extra miles for cheaper gas than being ripped off. They do not take credit cards- only debit cards. You only find this out after the pump tells you "see cashier" and when you go inside and ask politely and swipe the card at their register the cashier RUDELY yells at you "GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
