And bonus, they have different sizes so I was able to get some ones to try before committing to the larger ones. There seem to be scents for every season and all of the ones I've tried so far are unique, unlike anything I've found elsewhere. They even throw a light sent when not lit, I love walking into my bedroom and smelling Moroccan Fig! I've paid $50+ for candles from big name candle companies and they don't last anywhere near as long or smell as good. Highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for luxurious, actually long-lasting and amazing smelling candles.

Everything was set up and streamlined efficiently, and the owner and staff were so sweet and helpful, checking on everyone's progress and taking the time to answer any questions we had. The owner, who started this business during the COVID-19 pandemic, was so knowledgeable about scent creation and candle-making, and I'll definitely have to be back to sniff and buy some of her creations. In addition to her handmade candles, the store is also stocked with little trinkets, art, jewelry and collectibles from small local artists. Highly recommend stopping by this hidden gem on Main Street, and supporting a small, Asian woman-owned business!

Best of all, the candles contain no wax, instead swapping out the usual harsh chemicals with a ton of AMAZING ingredients for your skin and essential oils for fragrance, and the melted soy "wax" replacement doubles as a super rich massage oil, which I now use daily on my hands, elbows, knees, and feet. I recently watched a (red) stretch mark entirely disappear after rubbing the oil into it several times a day for a couple of weeks!! I've also noticed a huge improvement in the softness/suppleness of my skin in rough areas overall, and I'm constantly receiving compliments on the aroma (my personal favorite is the rose fragrance). For muscle pain, I also find that the warm oil is very effective when used as a massage oil at home, especially after a hot Epsom salt bath. :) HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended!!

This is my favorite special gift for myself:…read more Every candle, fragrance, and linen spray is done with the upmost care. You can tell by the packaging, the aesthetic, and the SCENTS. Oh my goodness, the scents. Slow Brew linen spray is the most incredible thing I have ever smelled. It's warm, robust, earthy, with a hint of sweetness that isn't too overpowering to the senses. This isn't your regular nona's coffee - this is the kind of scent you surround yourself to make your home smell like a sanctuary. This and the Backwoods by Candlelight linen spray just smells so delicious, I cannot decide which one is my favorite! These scents not only smell otherworldly, but they are helping me recover from nasal surgery to regain my full sense of smell again. I am not kidding, my doctor and I use the scents to help my nose relearn to smell properly. The amazing thing about these non toxic and natural candles, linen sprays, diffusers, and fragrances is that even someone like me who is slowly rebuilding their sense of smell, none of these scents are overwhelming or "too much". But you can really sense the individual notes, long after you spray the linens or rub the oil on your skin. This is coming from someone who also is sensitive to smells - Backwoods by candlelight is the real deal!!! I mean this will all my heart, I will never go to another store for my frangrances again. I found my holy grail. This is an authentic brand that you know you will get high quality and care with any item you get. You won't regret getting anything from here !!!! -Juli

For the last few weeks I've burned through the entire KarenKlein candle collection so I could…read morereview each signature fragrance one by one. I'm doing this in part for my sales education (now that I'm working for KarenKlein) but I'm doing it mostly because I love knowing exactly how a product will perform in real life. I was given a KarenKlein Bellini Positano candle as a gift a few months back. I've been feeling really cheap (read:poor) lately so I just kept it on display. Who wants to burn a $32 candle when it looks so pretty just sitting there. I didn't think I would ever spend that much on myself but now that it's burning, I know for sure I'd buy another to replace it. I love the mild scent of peaches and champagne. The scent throw from this 11oz old fashion is perfect for my small two bedroom apartment. When the house lights are low, the flame glow shines through the Florentine paper creating a beautiful image. I've been using the decorative gift box as a pen holder on my desk. I have about 45+ hours of burn time logged and the candle is still has 1/2 remaining. I followed some advise I found on a candle blog and let the thing burn 2+ hours on its first lighting. They say candles have memories and will not "pool" if you let them melt all the way to the glass edges on the first burn. Who knew? So far no one has accused me of having an old lady smell to the place and oddly enough many have asked if my cat moved out..... I've started a blog to review each of the 11 signature fragrances (see my profile page). Who knows how long it will take to write them all but I'm trying. For now I can say the Bellini and the Lavender/Ocean Deep are my favorites so far.

I allowed the reeds to soak and then flipped them over for a stronger scent. I DID NOT need to do that. The fragrance waffed throughout the room and put me in a romantic mood, so I made some pasta, which I LOVE, and enjoyed a taste of Italy in my livingroom! I also ordered the triple milled Bergamot/Sandlewood soap and matching candle. They aren't even out of the box yet, and my closet ,where they are stored, smells divine. I ordered them for a friend, but I am going to have to revisit that idea! My salesman, Jay, threw in some other samples so I could see what else Karen Klein had to offer, and when all of the family gathered to watch FSU cream Boston College Friday night, the opinion was unanimous, hands down, the Pear/Water Lily/Secilian Lemon that I had burning in the bathroom was the favorite. I know that in my family, there are at least 5 more customers! Even though, the candles are a little pricey, they burn forever! The candle was burning for 8 hours and it still has a long way to go! Thanks, Karen, for researching and creating a quality product.
