The most wonderful thing I ever had happened to me was praying at the wall in Israel, but I'm not so sold on modern organized Judaism I was thinking about getting more involved in Judaism again. But,I have had some not so great experiences in the past. This experience of not being welcoming helped me decide not to go to shul that night. The same is this is not the Judaism I was raised with. I hope someway to find a shul that is not political/is welcoming and caring again. That is not my experience here.
