Terry is VERY knowledgeable and took the time to set me up a bow to test in the shop. Terry took me to the range in the shop and spent almost an hour with me, giving me pointers and sharing his invaluable knowledge. Terry really expanded my interest in archery and set me up with my dream set up. I needed everything, a bow, sight, rest, release, and arrows. I was very impressed with the inventory Terry had in his shop. I told Terry I wanted to buy a good quality bow and accessories that would last (Buy once, cry once). Terry's item recommendations were based on my limited experience, not the price. Terry never once tried to upsell me, instead told me items I could purchase later on when I get more comfortable with shooting my bow. With my fiancé watching me shoot my bow, Terry asked if she was ready to shoot. She has never shot a bow and was a little hesitant but Terry gave her some reassurance and had a great attitude. Terry set her up a bow with a lighter draw weight and taught her how to shoot her first bow. She absolutely loved it! Terry gave both of us an experience we will not forget. You just don't see that very often. My interest was over in the gun department. As a Californian, subject to the inane and ineffective gun control laws passed by liberal legislators, I must say it is a pleasure to at least see actual firearms on display that only pictures of are allowed in CA. And whoa, ammo prices are great ! I got what I needed and ambled out to my car thinking how nice it is not to be treated like a potential criminal, like I am in CA. In CA to purchase ammo, you need to show ID, prove you have previously purchased a firearm, pay $1 fee, be subject to verification via computer and often, a lengthy wait for approval. This prevents crime? Of course not. Sportsman's Warehouse in St. George is a great place, thanks for a glimpse of rationality. And great ammo prices !

The two ladies at the front greeted me. When I walked into the apparel section I met a very cool guy named Darrell. Darrell is very knowledgeable about a lot of things. He is really big on merchandising and logistics. Once you get him talking about fishing though, you'd better pack a lunch. Ha! So lucky to have people like this that work in the service industry. Darrell explained so much about the store. He explained where I could find various items, the history of some taxidermic animals mounted on the walls, and other locations of Sportsman's warehouse is located throughout the country. That's A+ customer service. I would go back just to solicit Darrells expertise on outdoor gear and deals.

We go in and ask for a product and get an automatic "we don't carry that" or "never heard of it" (who hasn't heard of Magpul products - anything!!) Employees don't bother to look it up nor do they walk an aisle with their customers to look for it. Poor management. Poor employees. So, since they aren't willing to help customers, we take our business elsewhere (online) and get the same products for less than what we find if we ordered the product thru Sportsman's to be delivered to the store.
