The ambiance is amazing. We arrived on a Monday which is open mic night. The music was great!!! Several local singers that were all very good made the atmosphere amazing. The food is just ok. We order pizza which was a bit salty, crème brûlée which was mostly served cold (hot in spots), and a tomato soup which was the highlight of the meal. The service was amazing. Our waitress hustled from table to table and we never unattended. We'd definitely make another stop and it might be soon. lol

Traveling across the country we stop at many places. Acadian Moon is one of the places we will check mark to return. This place is a Beautiful setting with the lake in the background. We had a few menus items that were very fresh and delicious! A glass of wine and chocolate cake to top off the day.

Stopped in for a drink and dinner on our way back to KC from Columbia. We sampled all the dry wines, and then got a bottle. If you're going to have 2 glasses of wine, the bottle pays for itself, and you can take it to go if you don't finish it all. We got the gyro with fries for dinner - it was large and good! Service was kind. Worth a stop if you're in the area!

Awesome Baked Ziti & Bruschetta..... with wine!!!

Once again, we found another place to rave about. We're traveling in an RV and some businesses have opened up to allow campers to spend the night through the Harvest Host program. We found a gem with Arcadian Moon. Just off I-70 in Higginsville, MO. It's a dirt road all the way to the restaurant.....but no worries. We can wash the vehicles on Sunday !!! . By evening, the parking lot got full. It's certainly a popular place. Not only regular guests, but 9 other Harvest Host members check in too. Music starting at 6:00 !!! We pulled in, warmly welcomed, it's Saturday and after settling in, we walked over to the restaurant. Selected our bottle of wine... Cynthiana. A nice dry red wine & sat outside with a beautiful view of the Lake and simply enjoyed the surroundings. Several items on the menu looked soooooo good. We decided to order the Bruschetta & 4 cheese Baked Ziti. OMG.... Delicious and full of flavor !! The Bruschetta had fresh cut tomatoes with basil and a balsamic drizzle on a very nice lightly toasted slice of bread. The baked ziti was mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta & provolone cheeses and the best blush cream sauce that I've ever had. We liked the wine so much, we bought a second one to take back to the Coach. YES..... YES.... This is a place I would highly recommend to visit.

We had a delightful meal on the deck at Arcadian Moon a few weeks ago. Every dish we tried was so good. Our party opted for several appetizers to share. The Roasted Red Pepper and Goat Cheese Dip was served warm with pita. So good. The Stuffed Mushrooms were packed with flavor. We could not stop eating the Truffle Fries. The Bruschetta and Caprese Salad were good, but could be improved by using better quality tomatoes. We also ordered one of their wood-fired pizzas, the Margherita and the crust was fantastic. Crispy on the bottom with a perfect chew. I can't wait to try their other featured pizzas. Arcadian Moon offers tastings of all their wines, wine slushies and sangria.

Fantastic atmosphere. The wine was good and the food was excellent. The owner Brandon was very accommodating and friendly. Their plan to add 150 camping sites would be so great. Hope he is able to add to this beautiful location.

Great experience. I was treated with wonderful customer service. I wish the food options were a bit different but it was still good food regardless. The area is pretty but unfortunately I went on a cool rainy day. I would love to return when the sun is shining and I can walk through the area and enjoy the grounds. Only draw back is it's quite a ways out of my area. I will still come back someday.

Best pizza in all of life!

Omg amazing all around! I don't even know where to start. The wine was absolutely delicious so much so I left with a case. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, baked potato pizza, and mushroom garlic pizza none disappointed. Everything was amazing I will stop in here again n the future for sure.

My guest and I popped in here to buy a bottle or two to-go..we ended up staying for a couple hours and walked out with a whole box of different wines! We met one of the owners (who was the kindest soul!) and we ended up staying for a wine tasting. Would totally recommend doing a tasting, all of their wines are delightful so you should really try a variety! Being in Kansas City and in the middle of the United States I wasn't sure what to expect from this wine bar, but the owners are from Oregon and actually grow their grapes more like they do on the West Coast. I learned a lot talking to the owners and staff here, they are very knowledgeable and definitely not pretentious! They also do wine slushies and sangrias which are so tasty! We got a couple to-go to enjoy while watching a movie back at our Airbnb. They had a lovely spot for outdoor seating and the vibe here was great. I am 100% coming back here again when I'm in Kansas City!! This place was the best!! Thank you for such an amazing time!

But after this weekend's…read morevisit to Amigoni, I can't wait to show visitors this stunning winery with delicious wines! As part of a birthday party, we joined some friends at Amigoni for the first stop, and we all loved the ambiance (stunning, calm, lovely staff) so much that we stayed over 3 hours! We sat in the back bar/barrel room area (back bar was closed that day), but it was a great space for a larger group to be able to spread out and not take up all the space in the front bar area. The barrels gave the room a cozy feel! I'm a fan of wine, but a lot of our friends are not huge wine drinkers--so while they have a lot of great wine to taste (I'll get to that soon!), they also have local drafts and non alcoholic options for your friends/family members who aren't into wine or who don't drink. For their wines, when I went on a Saturday they had two wine flight options, which the staff said they change about every two weeks! I got the basic flight to get a better idea of their standard wines, and I wasn't disappointed with any of them--and as others have noted, they are pretty heavy with their tasting pours, just FYI! I was able to try the Urban White Blend (chardonnay and viognier), Cabernet Franc Rose (one of their original makes from the early days), Sangiovese, Zinfandel, and the Select (petit verdot and tannat). All were lovely and delicious! Thanks to everyone at Amigoni Winery who made the birthday celebration special, cozy, and delightful! Can't wait to go back and enjoy more wines next time!

The space was in a pretty quiet street, across from a pretty non-descript office building. I wasn't expecting too much inside but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the interior had much more personality than the outside. The interior had high ceilings, the bar was on the left and before we sidled up to the bar we explored the space. There was an upstairs space that looked down into the lobby and the rear area had a bar and was also nicely decorated. The rear area had a little more people so we decided to go back up front. We decided to do both of the tasting options and share. I enjoyed the limited production tasting better and the reds over the whites. Like with a lot of tastings, the wine club was pushed but since I was only staying one more day I wasn't interested. However, our host did give us a taste of the T10 which I enjoyed so much that I bought a bottle of that. I shared it with some people who know and enjoy wine and they were also pleasantly surprised with it.

We visited this winery on our way home from a winery-weekend in Hermann, MO. This was our last winery on our trip back to Kansas. It has been opened for 5 years and deemed "a hobby gone crazy". This winery specializes in sweet wines/fruit wines. We had Wildflower White, Apple, Puddle Jumper Pear (purchased!), Peachy Peach, Front Porch Red (Purchased!), Country Concord, and Happy Chef. We tried a 2009 and 2011 Concord they were okay. One of them was called Happy Chef. Then we had the Apple, Puddle Jumper Pear, a white wine I don't remember the name, an Elderberry wine, and Tornado Spotter which is a Jalapeno/Apple wine. I bought the Pear and White wine for my parents. They are a little sweeter than I like. The Elderberry wine (which I love) I didn't like theirs it was dirty tasting. The Tornado Spotter is NASTY and a palate killer. The owner was super nice and they were having a farkel party while we were there. I would go again to get the Pear and White wine as gifts for people if I were in the area. Take cash or checks they charge and extra 3% for credit cards. They are all about $12 a bottle
