He answers the phone almost immediately every time I call, always texts to confirm appointments, and somehow manages to make time for me even when his schedule is completely full. This last visit meant more to me than he probably knows. I had just been laid off from my job and had an important interview the next day. I felt overwhelmed and stressed and knew I needed a haircut to feel even a little more confident going into it. Even though Leo was fully booked for days, he offered to see me two and a half hours after his normal closing time. After a long day of work, he still welcomed me with kindness, patience, and warmth and took incredible care of me without ever making me feel rushed or like an inconvenience. When I went to pay at the end of the appointment, Leo stopped me and told me he was taking care of my haircut because of what I was going through. That moment genuinely brought me to tears. In a time when I was feeling really low, his generosity and compassion meant everything to me. Leo is not only an incredibly talented stylist, but a genuinely good human being. Acts of kindness like this are rare and unforgettable. I will always be thankful for him and could not recommend him more highly.

Vanessa did an amazing job treating my hair. It looks and feels so much healthier! My first appointment here was for a haircut and loved the after!!! My hair felt so much healthier and easier to manage. It truly felt like she treated my hair & helped it repair. She also includes a brief scalp massage, which made the experience feel super relaxing. My next appointment with Vanessa was for a "Custom Revamp" to touchup to my face frame/money piece & overall hair growth. I received so many compliments on my hair after. I think it's great this salon offers a hair & scalp treatment, too. The space itself is also super relaxing, lowkey, and intimate. It's near a coffee shop which is nice and has parking!

I never felt rushed, and she checked in throughout the appointment to make sure I was happy with everything. I'm super happy with the results and will definitely be coming back. My hair stylist is Christine and she does a phenomenal job, never disappoints and gives me exactly what I want. I also have worked with Sabrina and she too is great. In my 20 years as their patron, I have only experienced an issue once and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, it was addressed and remedied immediately and free of charge. They are clean and knowledgeable. The salon is huge and such a great space, with the little frenchie. They offer various drinks such as coffee, tea, carbonated water, and snacks. My hair is purple and very long, so my hair appointments take literally the entire day. Everywhere I go though, I get compliments on my hair all the time. Some people would say this salon is expensive, but to me, the quality they offer is worth it. I've been to cheaper salons and have had really bad experiences. Because my hair is high maintenance and costly, they do a great job of giving me some samples of their products. They are always educating me on how to care for my hair and how to use various products. I will always support this business because it truly does strive to take care of its guests and produce high quality work.

This salon is located in old town Monrovia off Myrtle and across the street from the public library. The stylists at this salon tend to take their time and let the coloring sit longer, which I have come to appreciate greatly. Except the first time when I went, I didn't know, that their services take longer and ended up running late to my event, which was stressful. Now I plan extra time when I go. I really only had one bad experience and the issue was addressed promptly and professionally by Judy, the owner. So all in all, a really good salon for the Monrovia/Arcadia/Duarte area.

This place accepts both walk ins and appointments made by phone (they even can make appointments…read morefor same day). My bf called earlier in the day for a later appointment (4pm). We saw the place many times while shopping at dollar tree in the plaza and thought it might be fast and inexpensive. When we arrived, there was plenty of parking nearby. The place is next to many stores and the front of the stores are pretty transparent with glass windows for walls. There were three staff, all were available and when we walked in they asked if we had an appointment. As he was getting his haircut from one of them, two customers came in, one had a 4pm as well and the other was a walk in and they were both accommodated right away. One had really long hair, they even wash your hair. The other was short just like my bfs hair. My bf asked to cut the top a bit short and at times he would ask a few changes during and the stylist would accommodate . The haircut took roughly 10-15 minutes. Since I wasn't getting a haircut, if you don't want to wait, there are clothing stores, cafes, restaurants and a dollar tree you can go to explore. The haircut was good (in my opinion), it was roughly 25$ which is more than we thought. They had a sheet of prices he showed my bf and that's when we realized we should've asked for pricing before making an appointment rather than assuming. Overall, I thought the place was clean, fast, and accommodating during a Thursday evening (they probably weren't too busy on a weekday which makes sense making an appointment on weekends if they do get busy).

Good conversationalist, very comfortable demeanor and cutting style. Came in to get some options for new hairstyles for myself and my son. I don't have too much experience with salons. Price was reasonable so I gave it a shot. Location a little bit confusing to find. Basically look for the salon on 10 1st Ave, the ask for Kit, he has his own station at the back of the salon. I'm pretty passive myself, so while I came in for recommendations, I didn't push too hard. He was very accommodating, but not as assertive as I would have liked. Not his fault, just would have wanted more guidance but too passive to ask for it ha. My son and I ended up getting similar haircut, which neither of us minded. His hand/scissor skills seemed very efficient. Lots of quick, small cuts, that moves quickly. He had some concerns cutting my 7 year old sons hair, understandably. After seeing my sons mild demeanor, he was willing to cut and welcomed us back for next time. My cut was initially a bit longer on top than I wanted, he apologized (unnecessarily) and immediately went to trim the top a bit more. Very accommodating and seemed to really want to check if the client was happy with the cut. Will visit again for our next cuts. Maybe I'll be braver, maybe I'll wait till next summer ha. Sorry no pics this time. I'll try to remember next time.

Carolina is very skilled at what she does, gives thoughtful and insightful advice on hair styling and care, and is overall just a joy to chat with. I had to id a new hair dresser (bc I moved) and was so nervous since my previous hair dresser was so wonderful. Carolina was super friendly and welcoming. This was my first time meeting her and she took her time to discuss my hair goals. I shared that my goal is to preserve length but also to maintain its health. I opted for a blunt cut with face framing layers, and she D E L I V E R E D!!! She trimmed the perfect amount and did not leave it short at all. It was the perfect refresh! And, her scalp scrub was 10 out of 10! I've gotten wash & blowouts at other salons, and my scalp will still feel dirty. But, not with Carolina! My scalp felt super clean and she hit some pressure points. The blowout was super pretty. I also talked to her about some minor greys I have and asked about her root touch ups since I was doing them previously. She was so honest and said she didn't recommend it. Instead, she recommended a hair product for cover up from the Style Edit (which she is not sponsored by, does not have a partnership with, & does not sell at her salon. I purchased through Amazon without her giving me a direct link) I've been using that and I'm obsessed! I got to save my coin and I appreciated her honesty. I also asked about glosses (which she happily does) and she recommended continuing my in-shower glossing at home to keep my hair healthy. Carolina's integrity shines. I will keep coming & report back.
