used arcadia for one day and my mom had to go back to rehab. When she came back i had my moms aid all set up with arcadia and the aid was here. since my mom wasn't here yet they told her to go home. I called them back to see what was going on. I spoke to this man that works there and he was one of the most disgusting people I have ever had to deal with at a nursing staffing agency. He told me he doesn't have to deal with this bullshit, when asked why they cant keep aid here till my mom gets home and he said to me well i'm not going to pay for it. what are you complaining for he said to me when you get this free and that his tax payments are paying for my moms care, she's on social security. Oh yeah and he called me a snowflake and said what are you going to do about it, when I told him don't talk to me like that. A lot more was said but I wont go into it. Then I tried to explain what was going on to manager her name is Patty and she said " I don't want to hear it or go into this. I heard his side and he is my partner." She told me to go find another agency. She then hung the phone up on me. Now I have no aid for when My mom comes home from rehab center, Shows that Arcadia of Bridgeport only cares about money and not the well being of its patients. I've never witnessed such an unorganized and uncaring company in my life. On several occasions with two different girls there have been no calls no shows. The company has failed to bring in replacements several times or the employee doesn't call and no one calls at all. My Grandparents have other people who come and help, like occupational therapists or physical therapy and even they have had issues coming into contact with Arcadia. Either they don't answer or don't call back. This company is ridiculous. read more
