First, the administrators for some unknown reason sent a claim to my insurance company for 600 CAD in 2025, even though the services were done last year and I had plenty of coverage left in my insurance plan. Secondly, this is the only dentist office after visiting which I felt pain on the following days after doing a filling. I also didn't appreciate the fact that the doctors and nurses were either constantly getting distracted with private matters or talking to each other about their families. - No, I don't want to know about your grandson's relationships while getting fillings, thank you very much! Just make sure your client is comfortable. Thirdly, Dr. Klitovchenko was the first dentist in my life who said that my mouth was not wide enough for the job - What are you even paid for if you can't reach all the teeth? Maybe, rename your office into "Front Teeth Dental" if you can't even reach all the molars.

My…read moreinsurance paid for a cavity filling and he had a temp doctor do it for me last year and when I went back to see him with pain (paid for an appointment to see him) he told me HIMSELF it wasn't done properly and would fix it. Now I waited 6 months just to have a phone convo with dr viola because I was told if I wanted to have a Conversation with him i would have to pay 60$ for an appointment. My conversation was to ask if he would still be fixing what his dentist screwed up. When he FINALLY agreed he demanded my mom come in for a cleaning as a trade off for him fixing the tooth his dentist broke? Anyhow long story short took time off work took their first available appointment was cooperative waited 40 minutes left didn't get an courtesy or respect. Sucks because dr. Fisch was my dentist for 13 years and was an amazing person treated people like human beings and did his job right.

I'm a big baby in the dentist chair and he understands and respects that :D He gently cleans my teeth manually because my teeth were too sensitive for the ultrasonic cleaner. There's a big TV on the wall facing the chair and I watch my fav program while Dr Baik does his work and time seems to pass quickly. A regular check and clean takes about 35 mins. Dr Baik and Kim, his assistant are simply amazing. Every time I go into the dentist office I always see Kim and she is so friendly and nice. I never have to wait as they are always on time. So now let me get to the good part. The best part of going to North York Square (NYS) Dental is simply because I have never met such an amazing dentist. Dr Baik takes the time to examine my teeth and does not try and rush though it. I never feel like I have been butchered like some other dentist offices where I feel like I was put though torture. So I would give Dr Baik 5 stars for just the cleaning. However, if I could give 10 out of 5 stars for real dental work (fillings ...) I would say Dr Baik is the best. I have went to a lot of different dentists and I have never had it where I walked in for a filling and walked out thinking did I just get a filling. He seems to have this special skill on how to freeze your mouth without you even knowing it unlike those horrible dentists who feel like they just jam that needle in your mouth. Not even going to lie, I was waiting for a very short time maybe like 5 minutes? It wasn't such a long wait. Plus you can visually see the back room where I think it's the lab. While you wait you also have a chance to view their indoor mini pond and it's the cutest thing ever. Its such a clean place & plus, Michelle and the other staff members were very sweet, approachable & professional. They also have their own parking so you don't have to worry about street parking. :) One downside I have about Chrysalis, is that Michelle told me she would forward me the email about the cost, etc and she still hasn't...and that was a week ago. Nice of them to give us toothbrushes and toothpaste afterwards. Also, good of them to go directly to my insurance so I didn't have to take care of that. They also told us how much our insurance would cover, so that information was very transparent. Overall, I had a very good experience.
