I showed up monday signed more documents at the desk and again for the student. The student looked around took xrays and i was scheduled for extraction on wednesday. On wednesday i signed even more documents and sat in a chair to hear one of their persons say i looked like i had a beaver on my head, and after fully 10 people looked in there, they got the tooth extracted . Looked like they were trying to extract the most benefit for their own purpose while being as stingy as possible in all ways. I tried to book further. They told me i was unable to be accommodated further, so i walked out of the place with a mouth full of teeth badly in need of professional cleaning and prophylaxis, a basic dental plan, and the several thousand in cash i brought for extras.

Another year, another cleaning and no cavities!…read more Did you know that how you swallow can affect your teeth?! I didn't! But it can! I have two gaps at the bottom that are getting bigger. Maybe because of my last three surgeries in two years has affected my breathing, more mouth breathing vs nasal breathing. Dr. Goodman showed me how to swallow while smiling. I said this will be fun eating at restaurants! She laughed and said: no it's an exercise!! Haha!! We all laughed! Check ups are important. And the lovely Sandra at reception will be more than happy to book you in! 38 years I've been coming here. Dr. Goodman said: you have good teeth, they'll outlast you! I said: it's all your handy work. And my mom had good benefits at the bank when I was a kid! I hope Dr. Goodman never retires! Keep working part-time!

She told me that I needed a crown. I asked Neda, the receptionist to send a request to my insurance company for a predetermination. After waiting almost three weeks I called the insurance company and they said there was no request submitted. I called Neda and asked her to do it which she finally did but she offered no apology for her mistake. I am very disappointed with the treatment I received this time at Dr. Goodman's office. I shall no longer return to her practice.

I have been a patient of Dr Sangjoon Yeo for two years now. He is the only dentist I trust. I had…read morefractures in one of my molars. A dentist from another practice quoted several thousand saying I needed a root canal and implant. Dr Sangjoon Yeo said he couldn't be certain if a large filling would correct the issue, but we could try. The process was quick and covered by insurance. That was in 2020. My tooth is still perfect to this day. In 2021 I chipped my left canine tooth. I was provided a speedy appointment with Dr Sangjoon Yeo. He patched the chip quickly and again it was covered by insurance. There is no visual difference between my right and left canine tooth. Dr Sangjoon Yeo does beautiful and honest work. His office is located on a trendy downtown street; the office has a high-end appeal. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would travel a great distance for Dr Sangjoon Yeo's skillful and trustworthy work.

If you're looking for a dental clinic that will take care of you and your teeth, look no further…read morethan Altas Dental clinic. I walked in with a terrible toothache due to a bad tooth filling. Dr Nguy was able to identify the problem right away and start treatment immediately. As someone who has had bad experiences with dental procedures in the past, I was amazed at how comfortable I felt during my time at this clinic. Dr Nguy is great at explaining everything that's happening and making sure you're comfortable every step of the way. Even the dreaded freezing injection didn't hurt at all. I've had several procedures done here, including a root canal with a dental crown, tooth filling, and a tooth extraction, and each one was handled with care and expertise. Even the teeth cleaning went smoothly, despite my terrible gum condition. In the past, I had a bad experience with a teeth cleaning that required my entire mouth to be frozen, but Dr Nguy was able to handle it with ease. Thanks to this clinic, my fear of dental procedures is almost gone. Overall, I highly recommend Dr Nguy and his team for all your dental needs.

A week ago Friday: I chose the Faculty of Dentistry over Mount Sinai Hospital because I needed…read morecomprehensive care rather than just a quick extraction, and in my opinion, it was not a hospital case even though I could have gotten same-day service at Sinai. I booked an emergency appointment and signed the first set of forms.Last Monday: I arrived at the clinic and signed twice--once at the front desk, and again on the student's own documents. They asked me if I had anxiety and to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10, and I told them it was an 11, while also informing them about my past bad experience with an orthodontist. Despite knowing this, the student dentist discussed high-cost options like implants and bridgework if needed, took X-rays, and scheduled me for a Wednesday extraction. On this same day, I tried to book routine follow-ups, a professional cleaning, and prophylaxis, but I was flatly refused.Wednesday: I showed up for the extraction and signed another set of forms. The attending student came in and then went out of the room, and while she was gone, a different student standing behind my back said it looked like I "had a beaver on my head."When the primary student returned, I showed her a stack of hundred-dollar bills and told her I had greater expectations for my care. I had basic dental coverage showed her the several thousand i brought wth me i saved.A third student came in to assist, I finally received the anaesthetic, and the tooth was extracted. The supervising instructor came in and made a medical joke about scratching the tissue down to the "dura mater." The student looked puzzled, and I mentioned this was the brain lining. There's a sign above the door it says "Welcoming New Patients"  Paul Pitman

The denture was lose. I tried to contact them but they were on summer break. When I finally got through, I was told there was no warranty as I was told by the previous student who has no graduated. Even the "Emergency" dental student told me there are warranties. Now I am stuck with something that cost a lot of money, is useless because it is lose and the admin staff will not take responsibility. Can someone please contact me to resolve? I will be sending a message to the local news agencies to follow up and do their investigations into how this place really is. for now AVOID at all costs! Find an alternative!
