In our case, we never received a bill or invoice from the clinic before the charge appeared on our card. When we called to ask about it, we were told they rely on the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from insurance as the "notice" and that they do not send bills before charging the card. This was surprising because the EOB itself clearly states to wait for a bill from the provider before paying. Most medical practices send a statement or invoice first so patients can review the charges. It also seems risky to rely solely on insurance EOBs as notification, since insurance companies are not always timely with mailing them and mail can easily be delayed or lost. Interestingly, the clinic was able to send an email thanking us for the payment after the charge was processed, but no communication or billing statement beforehand. Additionally, when I called to ask about the charge, the staff discussed my husband's billing information with me without verifying who I was. I personally do have permission from my husband to discuss his account, but they never asked for my name or confirmed that authorization, which raises concerns about how patient information is being verified before it's shared. While this may technically be allowed under their authorization form, it can still be very unexpected for patients who assume they will receive a bill from the provider before any charge is processed. I would recommend carefully reviewing their financial agreement and monitoring your insurance EOBs closely if you choose to be seen here.

We got a referral for SimonMed imaging, then we were out in less than 30 minutes. Even though we did not have to spend lengthy time in the check-in area, it was bright and clean, kind of like a medspa setting. The staff was super nice all the way from check-in, to check-out.

Reviews seemed amicable so I gave it a shot. Only fair that I provide my experience to round out the Yelp perspective... As I mentioned, I simply went in for a blocked ear canal. The office team seemed nice, fairly fancy waiting room, and they gladly scanned my health insurance to get things started. Once the assistant led me into the room, I was told that 'normal procedure is a Cat Scan'. A CAT SCAN to start?!, without any evaluation? I clarified I do not need a Cat Scan for a blocked ear canal..they begrudgingly obliged. The practitioner took care of me. Indeed, it was just a plugged ear canal and a minor one at that. For some reason they wanted to look up my nose. Feeling comfortable with the practitioner, I followed her guidance there. Next they used a machine to zap the ear wax out of my ear - that took about 1 minute or so given there wasn't much. That solved the issue. Well guess how much that visit hit me for? $1,600. Yes. $1,600 for clearing out some ear wax. My post-service impression, with their pushing of a CAT SCAN (which I denied) and unnecessary practice to look up my nose for a plugged ear is a sign that they clearly wanted to run up the bill as much as possible. Well, there you have it. Take the review for what it is, my experience was fine, but a $1,600 bill is as egregious as it gets in the medical field.

You are not allowed to see the Dr. even if you get the balloon procedure, afterwards, once they are paid, they literally tell you to go elsewhere with your problem. SCAMMERS. I believe the office staff is on a commission basis to sell the balloon procedure for the Dr. as its an average $10,000 for 5- minutes of work. Unfortunately, I've been through 5/6 ENT Dr.'s and was very desperate.

Since when did this became their policy? So if you don't fully understand what the comment means, IF YOUR INSURANCE IS OUT OF NETWORK AND YOU DIDNT CAL YOUR INSURANCE TO CHECK YOU WILL BE RECEIVING A BILL that would most likely have been covered or had a higher coverage rate had you gone to an in network Dr. So if this isn't a problem for you make sure you always verify with your insurance because they can be in network for one visit but for a future appointment no longer be in network.

They did a baseline vaginal ultrasound, along with a swab. We were told to try naturally for 1 more month and call them back on the day I got my period- if I did. I got my period and called them that same day as blood worked needed to be done between cycle day 1 and 5. The front desk lady said they had zero record of me after I gave my name and date of birth- despite having paid 2 medical bills to them. I told her I was looking at my bill during the call, I had my provider name- and still they acted like I had never been there before. She told me she'd try to figure it out and give me a call back by end of day. 48 hours had passed (cycle day 3 now) and nothing. We finally get ahold of our provider by our own research and there is no apology, and we are made out to be the problem. The front desk was extremely rude, no apology or willingness to help us get my bloodwork done. So, I never got my blood work done despite waiting an entire cycle for this. We will NEVER come back to this place, and will be sure to warn our friends and family about this practice. Fertility clinics are full of vulnerable people, who have been through so much trying to conceive- and to be treated like this was just the cherry on top to our really difficult year of trying. No apologies, no help, and still to this day- no records. I would highly advise you to not come to this clinic, as they loose patient files, are extremely rude to the patients, and clearly do not care about their work. Again, being in this position is already hard enough, and when the "experts" don't know what they are doing it's very scary. We have since found a much better fertility clinic and love our team there. If you are looking for a clinic- id stay FAR away from this one.

It didn't feel like a real medical practice. And it felt like the medical staff had to "deal" with my after the initial sales pitch. There was a 2 page print out for post & pre-op care. It was very shoddy. And I had to pick up and take my own drugs to knock myself out prior to the procedure. That was the wackiest part. If I asked questions or raised suspicions about any steps, of course I was made to feel like I was stupid or not getting something that was very simple. It all makes sense now why they were acting like this. I was scammed. The procedure was fully covered by my insurance, however I still feel sick by the fact that I was taken advantage of by Dr. Stewart. He doesn't appear to be at this practice but I wouldn't trust any of them.
