This office is a mess. My last two appointments had to be skipped because the office was running so…read morefar behind they couldn't "get to me" before I have to leave so I can make it to class. I will routinely be checked in for allergy shots for 20-30 minutes AFTER my appointment time and then it's suddenly my issue because I didn't check in early enough. There aren't actually allergy shot appointments despite them making you have an appointment it just goes by when someone checked in. It's a huge waste of time and a massive joke. The allergist I was seeing left the practice, I am routinely on hold for 30-40 minutes, get told they can't contact the pharmacy for medication delivery, and get billed for claims they submitted to my insurance (and the insurance paid). This whole practice is awful and I would suggest avoiding it if you can.

She really and truly cares about her patients and took the time to answer our many (many) questions about our son's food allergies. Dr. Hill is extremely knowledgeable about the latest advances in treating food allergies and really takes the time to understand the patient's history and the complete picture. We felt very confident in her care and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

I am sorry to say a physician is a misogynist, labels his patients as having problems "in their heads", and more. His office staff is equally difficult. He will waste your time and scream at you in the process. They will bill you for your suffering. Their reviews are misleading and suspect. They will not allow you to remove your credit card off file. There is zero introspection into their areas of friction with patients. I was sent by my PCP after an extensive medical work up. He, another PCP, and a pulmonologist all concurred some allergic process was occurring and seeing a dermatologist and allergist would likely yield an answer. Scheduling an appt was such a pain. Several call center specialists from this clinic kept calling me to create, recreate, and create yet again my patient profile. I received several calls about giving my insurance information even after submitting it multiple times. Upon arriving at the office, the staff was disorganized and rude. I'm hard of hearing, which I informed them, yet they kept talking over each other into my deaf ear about shifting from one rep to another to complete various paperwork- which I had already completed and mostly focused on making sure they get paid. Then, when I couldn't keep track and asked who I am supposed to work with, one of the receptionists took offense. A conflict erupted before I could sit in the waiting room. Erroneous medical information was entered into my chart including meds I've never taken in my life. They've violated HIPAA by calling me about medical info of another patient, including the other person's full name. As if this wasn't enough of a deterrence, the physician was the worst part. He didn't care to ask detailed questions, get a history, did all but eye roll as I described my symptoms, dismissed my PCP's thoughts on what could be triggering my allergies, re-ordered labs my PCP had just ordered and checked an AZ panel and labs for food allergies we KNOW i am not allergic to. Then, after the blood test, he declares me allergy free. Yet in the meantime, I developed a rash, responded to the antihistamine protocol, but struggled to stay awake from all the sedating effects. I am a brain patient and had just underwent brain surgery a few months prior. Putting me on this cocktail is malpractice at this point. He asks that I see dermatology, show them the labs, and follow up after. I go to dermatology, they raise their eyebrows about what hasn't been done in my work up yet, give me a diagnosis & med recommendation and advise I follow with him to get started on it. They fax the note to him, and I schedule to follow up. I walked into a condescending full blown temper tantrum with Dr Saavedra. It was like he was personally offended. He just ranted on and on about how the dermatologist was wrong, he won't be doing anything they recommend, I have NO allergies (but tells me I should keep with the antihistamine protocol????), shows me google photos of "real people with this condition" ... "You see this? You see that? Do you have this? NO, YOU DON'T DO YOU". Then in a red faced huff showed me the door. All I could manage to say was - I did what you asked me to do. Why refer me to another specialist for their medical opinion if you don't want it? Why waste my time? Dr S knew why i was following up - instead of cancelling my appt he chose to bring me in to scream and bill for it. No patient should have to experience what I went through with this practice. Go elsewhere. You deserve a legitimate work up and medical care.

Dr Wong has been a part of my care for the last 25 years. His dedication to us patients is…read moreabsolutely phenomenal. He tests for things you'd never think you had, example with me it was for a latex allergy back before the diagnosis was more common then thought. This location, one of many that's spread out across the valley, is a great location. It's kept clean and organized and the front desk staff is professional. They know me by first name so when they see me enter I don't have to sign in, convenient to say the least. Parking is absolutely horrible since there a very limited amount of parking spots available so be prepared to have a lil hard time with parking. Theres only 2 spots for handicap. Disabled parking spots aren't really set up for van lifts. The spots are very tight and narrow There approximately 12 in total and no other businesses to provide parking. Seating within this location is plentiful and kept cool/warm depending on the season. Allergy testing isn't so bad here or else I've toughened up. Haha Bathroom is unisex and will fit my wheelchair but it too is awfully tight. Move ability is a bit of a challenge but doable or at least in my case. A lot of wiggling. Lol Appts go pretty fast compared to other doctors office so being on time is pretty important. I believe there is a fee for no shows which is common anymore, especially since this a specialty. The practices are all training of new allergist but they will ask you first if it's ok to allow the students in the exam room or not. Oddly the practice has a brother team within it so be ready to get a bit confused at first on who's who but either Dr Wongs are great and very friendly. I believe they both have been on a few magazines for their stellar care and paying attention to us patients. They do cater to our young ones in hopes they can help curve the fear of injections aka needle phobia's. There is a growing anti injections or allergy shots be it a phenomenon so I'll let you make ur own decisions on your care. Perhaps of your looking at this review your not. 4 star because I very rarely give 5's. Since there's no 4 1-2. Reasons being parking issue and bathroom size. Please note that this review is for only the downtown/phoenix location and not the others. Finding this office can be a bit confusing if it's your first few times coming here. Complementary WiFi is provide while your waiting your turn or for whatever your there.
