“I particularly enjoyed the raspberry meringue pie---the meringue was soft and creamy---really different from meringue in the States.”

BEST PLACE FOR BREAKFAST hands down!! I was staying at the Crowne Plaza right across from it and I…read morehad this place bookmarked already just based on the reviews. I'm sure glad I came here because we had brunch here twice and it didn't disappoint! On day 1, I had the Peck Special which was like an eggs Benedict with their yummy waffles instead of your regular English muffin and it had this psycho sauce that was soooo delicious!! Also came with a side salad which at least made me feel healthy haha. But everything was so fresh and tasted so good! I also had the Chai Latte which was yummy as well! Day 2, I went with something a little lighter, I went with one of their smoothie bowls, the Fall for Me Superbowl and it was yummy and surprisingly filling! My husband went with their granola yogurt bowl and he said it was really good as well. This time around, I had their Matcha Latte which was great too! Service was great and quick. They had free WiFi and the venue is nice and relaxing, even tho there's lots of construction going on outside of the place, didn't really bother me! I wish I had a place like this near my home.. sigh. But definitely if you're visiting, this place is a great place to check out!

I came here based on Yelp reviews as it was out of the way from my hotel. The hotel breakfast was…read morenot very good and my work colleague is a vegetarian. This place has many vegetarian options. This place serves fruit bowls, fresh-squeezed juices and fresh veggies as well as typical breakfast and lunch items. They specialize in poached eggs and peck-style waffles. I went with the charcoal pancakes which has strawberry sauce and lime cream cheese; I also had egg, OJ, and a latte. My colleague had avocado toast with spring mix. I was very pleased with the charcoal pancakes but the portion was quite small. It's a good thing that I ordered egg as well. My colleague loved the avocado toast. My cell signal was very spotty and they provided me with the WiFi password. The service was good, the menu was unique, the food was good and the name is awesome. Four stars!

A decent breakfast spot. I stumbled upon the place while walking around the neighborhood. It didn't…read moreseem too busy and my time was rather limited, so I walked right in. Like every other restaurant in Belgium, you pay for a small surcharge for dining in. I opted for this option because I wanted to be able to enjoy my breakfast. My friend and I placed the following orders: a bottled beer (yes, for breakfast), omelette with cheese, salmon quiche, and today's soup (two options but I chose the tomato soup). The omelette (7 euros) was delicious and came with a side of salad. It's cheesy (as it's supposed to be) and delicious. The tomato soup was nothing special but only costed 4 euros and I got so much bread with my soup! Worth it. The salmon quiche (5.1 euros) was okay but filling. The beer (3.4 euros) was absolutely tasty and a perfect complement to breakfast. We spent about 20 euros on the breakfast for two. Definitely on the pricey side of things but at least it was a good meal. Service was very friendly! Staff spoke English very well.

In my opinion one of the most comfortable, clean, spacey, and friendly Paul's locations in…read moreBruxelles. There's no shoving and pushing here to get in and out. The cafe is quite big, with a good size seating arrangement away from the counter. A big selection meets you as soon as you walk through the doors, and walking along the display of cakes, pastries, and breads will lead you to a glass window through which you can see the deliciousness being made by the baker. They also have a good selection of sandwiches, small pizzas, and such. Staff is friendly and attentive. Have not had to wait here at all, rather it is the staff that has to wait for me to make up my mind: "...one of this..uhh no no wait this, no uh... Maybe both... And also one of those... And a coffee, a large one... Oooooo and what's this!" - Paul's selection will make you very indecisive. Please note however that everything is about 10-20 cents more if you sit in the cafe instead of taking it to go.
